Good vibes in a beautiful location

We really, really enjoyed our stay at Valberg Gjestegård in the beginning of August. The house is beautifully located in the middle of nature, it is nice and calm and with such a good vibe by the lovely hosts. The bed was super comfortable and we really had everything we needed. In the morning there was a tasty breakfast waiting for us :) We wish we could have stayed longer and would love to come back one day.

Beautiful apartment

The host is super nice! The breakfast is amazing! Freshly made bread, eggs come from the hens the host raises. The apartment is stylish and beautiful, it is newly renewed and great attention to the details. Me and my husband love the place and we would have loved to stay longer. Also compared to the hotel price, this one is great value for the money. And the host also shared tips about traveling around. It is 10 out of 10 for us :)

The Best of Everything!

Anne-Lise and Per have one of the best B and B’s I’ve stayed in. We stay in over 100 accommodations a year. First, it was very easy to find, off the main road and very quiet. Anne Lise and Per were there to greet us and make us feel right at home. We were riding our bicycles and the location was halfway between Nusfjord and Svolvaer. A beautiful garden surrounds the house with comfortable furniture for relaxing. Our bedroom ( one of two) on the second floor had a queen sized bed with cotton sheets. Also on the second floor for guest only, is a lounge with a large Smart TV ( Netflix and streaming) and comfortable sofa and chairs. The bathroom is one of the most stunning I’ve seen. It’s brand new with a huge soaking tub, and a separate rainfall and handheld shower. All rooms have large, clean windows looking out over the gorgeous gardens. Breakfast was delicious with homemade bread, jam and cake, meats, cheeses and eggs from their hens. Anne Lise offers dinner if booked ahead or you have use of the kitchen. Large grocery stores in Leknes. This was a big highlight of our Lofoten bicycle tour. I highly recommend and you will be lucky if you can book. Thanks Anne Lise and Per!

Exceptionally accommodating, modern (and traditional) Scandinavian home, and very kind hosts

We felt very welcome from arrival, to our departure. The hosts were exceptionally kind, the entire place was luxurious, homely, and modern - but traditionally Scandinavian. An extensive and quality breakfast, including eggs fresh from their own chickens - which left us full enough for an entire day of hiking. We definitely will visit again, if our travels bring us to Lofoten another time. Thank you to both hosts for your accommodating nature! Til vi ses igen!

I liked everything from the friendly hosts to their beautiful accommodation! The rooms have a nice view of the gardens mountains and sea and is very cozy and tastefully decorated! Nice breakfast too!

Accueil chaleureux et familial et spot intéressant pour explorer les Lofoten !

Très bon accueil par Anne Lise et Per ! On a discuté facilement quand on se voyait un peu tous les jours et c'est ce qui est agréable en chambre d'hôtes ! Bonnes rencontres aussi avec les deux autres couples présents. Très bon petit déjeuner. La cuisine est grande, pratique et propre. On peut y cuisiner le soir c'est pratique car il n'y a pas de restaurant à proximité. La chambre est confortable et la salle de bains privative aussi. On peut aller à la plage à pied, 15 min de marche. La plage est très belle, très calme, nous étions que nous deux ! Il faut supporter les 14 degrés de l'eau mais en bougeant bien et en alternant course sur la plage et natation toutes les minutes pendant 20 minutes, c'est faisable ! Et vivifiant ! Cette chambre d'hôtes offre un accueil chaleureux où on se sent comme à la maison et est pratique pour visiter à la fois l'ouest et l'est des Lofoten.

Il nous a juste manqué un micro-ondes pour réchauffer notre plat de la veille. Il semble y avoir deux fours. Mais peut-être que l'un des fours peut s'utiliser en micro-ondes ? Il nous manquait un mode d'emploi des fours en fait ou peut-être un peu de jugeote !

Wonderful

Siamo arrivati in questo BeB dopo una pedalata di 30 km sotto la pioggia. La proprietaria è stata gentilissima nell’accoglierci e aiutarci ad asciugare le nostre cose mettendo a disposizione la sua asciugatrice. La casa è splendida, piena di vetrate stupende (in particolare dal salone comune si possono ammirare il mare e fiordi circostanti). Il bagno della nostra stanza era in comune con un’altra coppia, pulizia impeccabile.

Posizione incantevole; camere super confortevoli, bagno incredibile, per quanto bello e grande. Cucina a disposizione se ci si vuole cucinare qualcosa. Area salotto, ad uso esclusivo, con panorama pazzesco. Annalisa padrona di casa super gentile e disponibile ad aiutarti.

Tutto splendido

La casa di Anne Lise è splendida e lei e suo marito sono una coppia dolcissima. Ci hanno accolti con molto calore e sono stati davvero ospitali. Tutta la casa è arredata con gusto ed è molto pulita. Al mattino Anne ci ha fatto trovare una colazione molto ricca e dell’ottimo pane fatto da lei. È stato un soggiorno davvero piacevole!

Privathaus in ruhiger Lage mit familiärer Atmosphäre

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr ruhig und abgelegen, aber ideal, um in realtiv kurzer Zeit neben Vestvagoya alle Ziele auf Moskenesoya, Flakstadoya und Austvagoya zu erreichen. Sie eignet sich daher gut für einen mehrtägigen Aufenthalt. Schön renoviertes Privathaus mit wunderbarem Garten. Die Gastgeber Anne Lise und Per sind sehr herzlich, diskret und sehr bemüht, den Aufenthalt mit vielen guten Tipps für Restaurants und Ausflugsziele so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut und reichhaltig mit leckerem selbstgemachten Brot und Marmeladen. Die perfekt ausgestattete Küche steht zur freien Verfügung. Wir können die Unterkunft in jedem Fall weiterempfehlen.

Private Unterkunft zum Entspannen und Genießen

Die private Unterkunft liegt sehr ruhig an der ruhigen Küstenstraße Fv817, und damit weit abseits der viel befahrenen E10. Wir hatte die EG Wohneinheit mit einer möblierte Terrasse und freiem Blick in den wunderschönen Garten und die Natur, die zum Relaxen einlädt. Die Gastgeber Anne Lise und Per waren sehr bemüht, uns den Aufenthalt angenehm zu gestalten. Der Tag startet mit einem sehr guten Frühstück mit selbstgemachtem Brot, Kuchen und Marmeladen. Und die perfekt ausgestattete Küche steht auch sonst zur freien Verfügung. Die Lage auf der Insel Vestvågøy ist ideal, um zu entspannen und/oder diese rundherum zu erkunden.

Gegen die zahlreichen Mücken sollte zumindest an einem Fenster pro Raum ein Mückenschutz angebracht sein, um eine Belüftung zu ermöglichen.

Lugnt och familjärt boende

Mycket bra rum med bekväm säng och väl städat. Familjär service då ägaren bor på samma gård. Jättebra frukost! Valberg ligger lite avsides så området är väldigt lugnt.

Tyvärr hade vi delat badrum, men standarden på badrummet var jättehög, verkade helt nybyggt.

Geweldig

De gemoedelijke en huiselijke sfeer in het huis is geweldig. Anne Lise en Per zijn heel gastvrij en geven je snel een gevoel dat je er thuis bent. De keuken kun je gebruiken en die is zeer ruim en voorzien van alle gemakken. Het huis ligt in een zeer rustig gebied met een prachtige natuur. De tuin om het huis heen is prachtig. Deze lokatie is heel goed om meerdere dagen te verblijven vanwege de centrale ligging in de Lofoten. Vanuit hier kun je dag tripjes maken

Det finaste och bekvämaste och trevligaste man kan tänka sig!

På slingriga vägar gick färden till Valberg Gjestegård som ligger bland bergen i en underskön natur. Vi möttes av ett rart och trevligt värdpar och fick bo i ett vackert rum med sköna sängar och fick tillgång till en vacker trädgård, ett elegant kök med stilren matsal och en vacker trädgård med blommor och fåglar. Det finns också ett fint vardagsrum med en skön stor soffa och vidunderlig utsikt genom stora fönster som man får använda som gäst. Frukosten stod uppdukad i köket på morgonens valfri tid och hela gästhuset med värdar kändes varmt, vänligt och väldigt hemtrevligt. Rekommenderar verkligen detta boende!
