The location was nice and I appreciated the breakfast. I even enjoyed the monkey who jumped on my table to join me for breakfast.
My bathroom had a leak, they took care of it but the room was left a mess and I had to find housekeeping to clean it up.

The location is absolutely fantastic.. one minute from the beach..the bungalow had everything we needed but unfortunately the bed was not comfortable.. the staff was fantastic and tried to accommodate our needs.. breakfast was lovely and overall we were happy, but needs improvement.. I’d say the location beats the comfort but we only stayed for 3 nights..
I think it needs more comfortable mattress which would improve stay for longer bookings

Breakfast and pool were good. The view was beautiful and the tree provided great shade for sitting on the beach. Can do snorkelling right out the back of the hotel
There was an Italian couple that stays there permanently and the guy would spend the morning charging guests for private chairs on the beach which were mixed in with the free hotel chairs. Catching guest out by surprise once they have started to relax on what looked to be hotel chairs. It was a very intentional scam to get money from guests who were unaware of the free hotel chairs and his lingering presence was very uncomfortable as sometimes he would stand right behind you just in swimwear for long periods of time staring. Made my wife feel uncomfortable when she was laying down in her bikini

Decent sized bungalows on the best beach the island has to offer. Spacious shower with warm water. No insects or anything of that nature during our stay 😄. Breakfast buffet was quite good aswell. Staff were very friendly. Amazing value for money.
The beds could be better.. the mattresses were quite firm. Not having a fridge or a kettle was not really a problem for us personally. The AC keeps the water battles cool 😁.

The location is excellent if you’re looking for peace and quiet. Long Beach is beautiful, the hotel is right on the beach, with sun loungers and the option to have breakfast facing the sea. Check-in and check-out were easy, and when leaving they offer three free long-tail boat departures to the pier, which is very convenient. The area is very green, and monkeys show up from time to time. Breakfast is very basic but fine. They provide life jackets, quite worn but functional, and snorkeling masks, although it’s better to have your own. You can reach Phi Phi center either by trail, which takes about 45 minutes and is quite manageable, or by long-tail boats running all day, costing 100 baht during the day and 150 baht at night per person. Overall, it works well if you’re on a tight budget.
The bungalow we stayed in was extremely simple, to the point of being surprising. It felt improvised, very old, with very thin walls made of plywood, and some wall joints were already coming apart. The lighting inside was poor, with one light flickering. Items like the trash bin and mirror were plastic and very worn, and the rugs were basically old floor cloths. The bed is extremely hard, honestly feeling like sleeping on wood. I mentioned it to reception and they offered extra layers, but it didn’t really help. The snorkeling masks provided are heavily reused, most of them are broken, and just placed back near the pool, which I personally wouldn’t recommend. There is also a lot of debris scattered around different parts of the property.

Breakfast was not bad. Very close to the beach which was wonderful. The office staff was great and helpful.
The furniture in the room was very outdated and minimal. Bed was not comfortable. The light in the room was dim. No towels first half of a day (they were out of dry towels). No one swept the paths between the bungalows, which were littered with leaves, I had to do it by myself. Something fell in the midnight on the top of our bungalow and we thought that it would be destroyed, very scary!
2-3 restaurants where waitresses look like they are not glad to see you.

-reasonably clean
-great location near the beach and Shark Point, which is one of the best snorkeling spots on the island
-free sunbeds available
-quiet
-good value for money
-there was no refrigerator in the room - it might sound minor, but with 30C+ daily to me it was an issue
-extremely hard bed - it felt like a park bench with a blanket on top for padding
-there was a large gap below my door, letting mosquitos and other bugs in
-tt's located in remote part of the island, meaning choices of restaurants, shops etc. are limited., and getting to the central town requires a taxi boat or around 50 min intensive hike.

The beach was clear water
For starters the hotel wasn’t really clear about how to get there.
All the photos were misleading as the bungalows were very run down, the bed was hard as a table and the ceiling was very unsecured. The worst was me and my partner having food poisoning because of the poor hygiene standards on the food and being so remote with only one option to eat was very unsafe.
We paid for five days and had to get out after one night as we were needing to be in a place where we felt secure eating and having hospitals around.

The property is situated very close to the beach and in a good location. Long Beach has enough going on but much quieter than where the Rassada Pier is, which we prefer. The staff were lovely especially the receptionist, she gave us lots of information and is a credit to the resort. The bed was lovely and comfortable, the room a nice size. Loved the little balcony. The bathroom was nice and little shampoos, soap, toothbrush/paste sewing kit and body cream provided. Also tea and coffee making facilities and plenty of water too. Absolutely loved the elephant towels. I can make a swan, but next time we have guests, I shall definitely be attempting to make an elephant.
For us it wasn’t a problem as we’re relatively fit but on the last day, due to the choppy seas, the taxi boats weren’t going in or out of Long Beach. The path is very steep, has large steps and slippy mud in rainy season. We met a group coming in the opposite direction and many were really struggling and one lady, who wasn’t good on her feet, had slid and fallen and was covered in mud, cuts and bruises. Her daughter said had they been warned, they would have stayed somewhere near the pier and perhaps moved to Long Beach the next day. The day before we’d walked there and back, but it wasn’t quite as easy with bags, though our suitcase was carried by a member of staff. Thankfully we didn’t have to walk the full 40 minutes as there were long boats in a little cover that was protected from the high waves.

Great location for me as I like beaches and snorkeling. It's a nice half-hour walk from the beach to the town. (Long-tail boats are available for those who prefer not to walk, particularly if they have a heavy bag or pack to carry.) The restaurant food was very good and the staff were great. I was there in the low season but the weather and visibility when snorkeling were okay. There were lots of colorful fish at my favourite little rocky island snorkeling place (though you do have to cross through patches of water where the long-tail boats go to get there).
It's quiet in the low season but I was okay with that.

The location is great, just by the beach. The room was simple and didn't have a fridge but for phi phi the value for money was great. Breakfast spread was very nice and the complementary boat upon checkout was a welcomed bonus.

This is my first trip outside of my home country of Canada. Beautiful location, friendly and helpful staff. Thank you
I am a tall large person and I almost flipped a longboat over climbing in 🤣.

Long Beach on Phi Phi is a paradise. Best place to discover other islands.
There is no fridge in the room. The water in the bathroom is scarce and dirty.

It's quiet, on the beach & at night.
Beautiful sunsets; air-con worked well.
You stay here because you want a location by the beach, away from the hustle & bustle of the main part of Phi-Phi islands.
I spoke with people on the main part who praised Long Beach as being great, with many of them choosing Long beach as the location to get away from the main pier.
I didn't do my research on the location, and didn't realise how isolated it was, which wasn't great for a single traveller. (you can walk to the main section along the beach during day time which took about 20 minutes, I didn't try night time but wouldn't like to have done it in darkness)
1 convenient shop that doesn't sell much nearby.
The bed was very hard.
Phi-Phi Islands was probably the most expensive place I've visited in Thailand (example. 7/11 prices being double the mainland), & this accommodation was no different. Good value for money for Phi-Phi islands, but bad value for money for Thailand.

The location is fantastic.
Mosquitos and the room needs some renovation

The hotel is clean and neat.
The hotel is away from the town, so bear in mind that you either have to walk 30 minutes on a steep path to get there or pay 100-150 baht for a taxi boat per person, one way. It is right next to the beach, but it is extremely crowded and loud because of the boats (like the entire island, btw).

Proximity to the beach and really really good buffet breakfast for 200 THB. Also they have a safe box on reception and the staff is very nice
Would love to have fridge in the room, all the rest was pretty fine.

Those of you giving bad reviews to the place should know that you get what you pay for. Don’t expect to receive a 4 stars seaview villa for the price of a hostel, doesn’t work like this.
The conditions are ok for bungalows at this price range on the island. There is air conditioning, space is ok, room cleaning daily (changing towels and summary cleaning), small terrace, hot water all the time). Nice they provide beach towels, free beach chairs and kayac.
The location is simply amazing, few steps from Long Beach, a quiet and beautiful place.
The staff is friendly and helpful.
Overall, we spend 6 nights here and its just about what we expected, not more or less.
There is no fridge in the room, which would be extremely useful.

I would like to mention good breakfast for reasonable price and free of charge kayak, sup board and snorkelling equipment. Very nice place!

great location, privacy of bungalow
super uncomfortable bed, the amenities of the resort were closed - no breakfast / dinner available

long beach is definitely the nicest beach on phi phi, the water is clear blue and it’s not over crowded with people. it’s about a 30/35 min walk into the town which doesn’t feel that long when walking as it’s along the beach and the views are very nice along the way. you can also get a boat into town. the cabin/house are right on the beach and very cosy with our own little porch.
the bed was super hard and extremely uncomfortable. me and my partner had a double bed in our room but they don’t have duvets on the bed they have single blankets that are extremely thin and didn’t actually cover me properly. so we both had single blankets each to try cover us.

Long Beach is absolutely beautiful and the sunset views are amazing. Unfortunately that would be about it. The pictures are not close to what you are checking in to.
The pictures online are very deceiving of the room you are booking. We booked a standard room, nothing special. We had originally booked two nights there but once we set foot in the door we booked elsewhere for our next night. The bed is like sleeping on a concrete block and the room may as well be outside, if you're not used to roughing it, I would not recommend booking here as there is also wildlife roaming round in abundance!! Cleaning standards were seriously lacking throughout and once we had checked out early the next morning, staff were not helpful and couldn't care less about helping us get a long boat back to the main part of the Island. There is also no restaurant open for you to eat at you leisure, you will need to go to the resorts either side of you. Would not recommend here unless you need a very basic place to rest your head for the night.

Secluded and great beach
It should offer free water taxi shuttles to the main pier at certain times in the day. Otherwise the regular taxis over charges a lot.

Everything is a disaster
"Bungalows" are so small, 2mx2m. Disgustingly dirty, no sheets provided,no cupboard, no curtains and 2 huge windows so absolutely no privacy, spiders and cobwebs in the showers and snakes in the garden.
I can't believe the meanness and incompetence of the owner.

The location is spot on, Long Beach is most definitely the best area in the entire island! Quiet, stunning, far away from the crowds and parties, yet within a pleasant jungle path-walking distance of 30 mins from the Tonsai village/port, that can be easily taken even at night. The Bugalows are simple, yet well maintained. The neighbourhood is truly amazing, taxi boats to port are cheap, fast and convenient - I'd definitely recommend you staying at Had Yao Bungalows!
A little smell from a bathroom drain, but you know what - it's a bungalow, not a Hilton hotel, so I guess it's okay!
