PP Mountain Beach Resort

Beautiful property, however the pool was not running and was stale water. The view point was beautiful but could do with new decoration. The wait from the town for our transport was an hour and a half wait which was very annoying when we had been travelling all day then had to wait in the sun.

Good shuttle service to and from the town. Nice balcony, fine room but far too big for what was in there so felt empty and bare.

Can only really back from town after 9pm if you pay 300thb, otherwise you have to walk pretty far up a steep hill in the dark. Supposedly they have 6 pools, however only 2 were actually full, and one of those was dirty. The others were empty or brown. This is also VERY much catered for children - We were told there was an adult pool but never got an answer as to where….strange. Service in the restaurant was poor. Friendly staff but very slow, and felt awkward for most of the time. We ordered Prawn Cakes as pescatarians but thought they tasted strange so asked the staff what else was in them for them to tell us chicken! No where in the menu did it state this. Really not good.

Nicky and Tah were the best stuff - always available and kind. besides them everyone is so nice. The location was bit far from the main peir but there was a car free service until 9 pm (and after 9 with money) also, the room, the view to the ocean, and the private beach were AMAZING 😍

because we were alone it took time to fill and clean the pool so we havent used it enough (and it looks so nice and fun) 😔

Everything was good. Except yhe pool was out of action. We were told that it would be all working the next day. But wasn't. Disappointing as the Hotel is up a hill and I booked it for pool use.

Staff and rooms were first rate. Unfortunately this hotel is quite a distance from everywhere you need to go. There is a taxi which will take you to the beach if the town every hour and more if you need but it is very far from beach and town.

Phi phi itself is lovely.

Location. Ok we knew it was a bit out but the free shuttle bus stops at 9:15pm. Water park? It doesn't even have a pool!! The room itself when you open the door you smile... then you look. Bathroom, huge, holes not filled in where a shelf might go here....or there... brick dust on the shelf where it did go, tap fitted incorrectly wobbles badly, I got under the sink to hand tighten it. The hose/pipe to the bidet wash was black with soiled water. Only 2 towels, no hand towels, move on to the bedroom and if you can manage with 1 soft pillow each the list goes on. Oh, and breakfast...... is Limited.

Property was very clean, very very spacious rooms, exceptional views from all around the property which were breath taking!

The location is a bit out of the way but please make use of the resorts shuttle service, we used it even at 2am and was fantastic!

Everything at this property was amazing! From the room, to the staff and everything in between we could not fault our stay here and enjoyed it so much we requested to stay another night and the staff kindly allowed us to keep our room for the original price we paid, when we had looked on Booking.com and seen only deluxe sea view rooms were available for a higher price so worried we would have to move. The hotel offers a boat and shuttle bus service and staff are contactable via WhatsApp if you would like to visit Long Beach or the Pier (Town), someone comes to collect you within 10 minutes.

Pool not very clean, never stated it was so far from town left waiting for the pick up service they offer, then charge you for it after 9pm and more every couple of hours after that

The location was fantastic. The staff was as helpful as can be (the communication gap really took a toll). The transport to/from the city was a buzz kill. The wait sometimes is 20 min. If there could be improvements on this end, that would be great. Overall, the view and the room for the money was great.

The view of the reservoir and silly water park!!!

We absolutely loved our stay here, we originally booked for three nights and extended for another two because it’s just out of this world. Upon arrival the manager told us she had upgraded our room from a sea view to a superior sea view and well the views were absolutely breathtaking waking up every morning to the stunning views of phi phi was such a beautiful start to our day! Phi Phi Mountain is of course, up the mountain but the hotel but on a free service to take you to the beach or the town everyday between 8am and 9pm, the service continues late into the night with a small fee of 300bhart per room for a collection the longest we had to wait was ten mins and most the time they were there within a few mins. It’s literally a door to door service with the taxi dropping you off at your door. The drivers always greeted us with a beautiful smile. The room was huge, with two massive balcony’s very clean and comfortable we just loved our stay here and if we ever come back to phi phi this is the only place we would choose. Long Beach is absolutely stunning and they provide a free shuttle bus to take you there also. So convenient to get into the the night time chaos but so peaceful and simply tranquil at Phi Phi Mountain. The reception staff were so lovely and so helpful.

When I’ve read some of other guests reviews all I can think is these people must be so entitled and dam right rude. We absolutely loved our stay here and the only negative was the odd rude guest and the way we saw them speaking to the beautiful staff!

We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are very spacious and clean. Also come with all toiletries needed. The transport boys are a credit to the hotel & Marc in reception is also very helpful.

The location is on a mountain however the hotel provide shuttle service to the town & beach free of charge until 9pm. Our only fault would be 9pm is quite early to be charging for the shuttle .

Service from the lady boy in reception was terrible, Food come out cold 1 lot they took back and put in microwave after they had there hands all over it checking it was cold before I sent back ( club sandwich).my 4 year old sons Burger come out raw , un cooked all the way through the middle, prices way to high for the menu but then they no they got you as there is nothing around to buy/eat any where else not even a shop on site, cleaners left my room unlocked with all my valuables in room , shuttle bus from beach is supposedly every 10 mins . We were waiting at beach for over 1 hour for shuttle to get back up to hotel with no response from phone number at beach, after a delayed check in we were sent to a sea view room as paid ( looking over a water lake what supply’s water to hotel -holding tank) the room was not even ready still not even cleaned ready for are check in after ladyboy sent us up, by this point I had had enough so got shuttle to take me back to the restaurant and sent him down to reception to sort me another room, he came back up with keys to a sea view room off which I already paid and said extra 2000 batt per night , by this point I had a total guts full of this hotel spent 1 night there and checked out early the next morning first thing and refused to pay the extra cost for room and lost my money for other nights paid, avoid this hotel at all costs, nothing close family hotel with water park for family’s and don’t even sale ice cream/lollies for children

Property is falsely advertised. The ‘water park’ was a few concrete like slides which resulted in injuries, not safe for adults let alone children. We were served raw meat - offered a refund and never received it. The rooms were dirty, blood on the curtains, dust and toenails and dirty plates left outside the door and bags of rubbish & no towels in the room (we had a delayed check in twice as they were still cleaning, and this is what we checked in to) Hotel staff were rude - especially Filmie, attitude was horrendous. They were supposed to organise a taxi to the ferry port which never showed up and they claimed we never asked them to organise (we spent 45 minutes going over the details with them the day before) Since leaving and trying to resolve the issues they will not speak to us on the phone and continuously hang up the calls. They offered a free taxi service until 9pm to and from the town, each night after midnight we paid the cost, on check out they tried to charge us again! Not a 4* resort, it’s very dated, and overall a very disappointing stay.

The apartment was excellent, great size fantastic balcony.

The odd watermark seemed to be an eyesore more than a nice sight.

Nightmare with waiting around for towels ect.. all a bit on a go slow.. Ordered a pick up for an excursion with the hotel to leave early in the morning and it never came, reception was closed at the time of pick up so was a nightmare trying to sort transport after no show :/ staff did take it off the bill and apologised but bare in mind if you’re doing a early excursions. Shuttle drivers were lovely though always very friendly and polite helping with bags etc.. food at the hotel wasn’t the best and breakfast we paid for was limited and had to pay more for the coffee machine coffees.

You are very dependent on the hotel for any movement. There is no way you can walk or take local transport. Mostly they don’t have their cabs available so you will have to wait for hours depending on their cab to reach beach or the market. They charge you very heavily for transport post 9pm. If you are going to build a hotel this far then atleast give free transport and have enough cab services. People will appreciate it!

Didn’t really like anything at this hotel.

The bed is really uncomfortable and pillows horrible. The swimming pool is dangerous and the slides are very dangerous and not kid friendly. The door in the room has a large gap around it so the mosquitos and other bugs fill the room quickly. The food is bad and not a lot of options. We couldn’t even buy ice cream for the kids. We would never recommend this hotel. We checked out early and didn’t even finish our stay at phi phi at this hotel.

The view is amazing, the room is big and the terrace huge. The sunset restaurant is amazing and the staff is very cordial and understanding. The shower did not work and the plumber came after 10 min. He was not able to fix it at the moment but he was very kind. Drivers are very nice people.

Most of the staff does not understand English. Very rude at the reception. Never say “hi” when you enter. They kept talking to each other, just ignoring you. One of the staff was using body lotion and drying his hair in front of the fan. Very impolite. I had an issue for the luggages to store during an experience, and at the phone the reception told me to shut up because he needed to tell me the policy they have, just completely ignoring my need to only store my things for an afternoon. At the breakfast, the staff was eating behind the buffet just ignoring you. And please, hire an international chef to manage the kitchen properly.

the water park was great sunset restaurant wow great views netflix on tv good staff helpful you’re away from the main beaches which is nice as it’s very busy and not the same as phi phi used to be , can get boat there 100 baht a person you do have a nice beach with a couple decent restaurants there as well kids will love the water park

The bathroom smelt disgusting we asked for a superior sea view room and couldn’t see the sea,the reception staff were rude and unhelpful,you had to ask them something about three times before it was done,I stood at reception for about 5 minutes before any of the three staff acknowledged me,it’s not what it looks like on booking.com there is a big man man made lake sort of thing with black plastic lining which is not pretty to the eyes which they don’t show in their photos
