Amazing location, we will return

Amazing location, a short long boat ride to the lively Phi Phi town area, but quiet and relaxed. Lovely beach. Very close to shark point (easily swimmable- just be aware of long boats) Room was excellent, bed very comfortable and very clean. Food in restaurant was good.

As others have said, communal areas are a little tired, but location and room more than made up for this. Service in restaurant could be a little slow to get going, but staff were very friendly once they realised you were there!

GORGEOUS ocean view villa!!!!

Our partial view ocean villa was the most gorgeous ocean view we have ever had in our 50 years if traveling!!! And the bed faced out three huge windows! We ordered wine and dinner to the deck nightly by room service! It was such a beautiful treat! A highlight of the trip! Gorgeous place! Breakfast, food, drinks were fantastic! Water crystal clear with tropical fish visible everywhere! Quiet and secluded from the mass of crowds on the mainland phi phi island.

I didn’t realize the pier we met the hotel people to transport us was on phi phi, not phuket or krabi. It was figured out easily. We took a motor boat out for $120 from a quiet pier named Ao Don. Also, stepping on and off the boats were huge steps and sometimes straight into the water! So wear appropriate clothes and shoes to be able to dd this. You must be very agile too. Elderly people couldn’t manage.

Great beach and ocean view

Our stay was pleasant, and the ocean-view cabin was great, with an amazing view. The hotel’s beach is the best in the area—the water was incredibly clear, and we could swim surrounded by many fish. The beach chairs were very comfortable, and the restaurant offered delicious food at affordable prices. Some staff members were very kind while others were not, so the service was not consistent throughout our stay. However, I understand it was high season and they were always very busy.

One downside is that you need to take a long-tail boat every time you go in or out, which was not easy for me. That said, the hotel offers free pickup and drop-off to Tonsai Pier, which was great and very helpful. The hotel recommends a specific boat service—use it. Do not use the other boat services near the pier, as they are not reliable.

Nice place to stay

Very big, nice resort with a beautiful beach where you can rent a diving mask. Basic room, basic breakfast. 30 minutes by foot from the famous viewpoint. Fire show after sunset.

Amazing stay and a wonderful birthday surprise!

We had a fantastic time at Phi Phi The Beach Resort! The location on Long Beach is stunning – peaceful, with crystal clear water and amazing views. The room was very comfortable and the staff was helpful. A huge thank you for the beautiful birthday decoration on our bed! It was a lovely surprise for my wife's birthday and it made our stay feel very special. We truly appreciate the gesture. Highly recommend this place for a romantic getaway

the hotel itself, the views, and the accommodation were excellent, but the front desk service needs serious improvement.

We had an amazing stay at this Phi Phi hotel, mainly thanks to the stunning location and breathtaking views. The scenery is truly phenomenal and feels like something out of a postcard. One of the biggest advantages was the free transportation to and from the ferry pier, which was very convenient and well organized. We stayed in a sea view villa, and it was absolutely mind-blowing — waking up to that view was unforgettable. The facilities were good and well maintained, and there were a couple of restaurants on site, offering decent dining options.

our experience with the reception staff was disappointing. They were not friendly and spoke in a rude manner. Both check-in and check-out were not smooth. For example, we didn’t notice that checkout time was strictly at 11:00 a.m., and when we asked politely if we could check out at 12:00 (as many hotels allow), the receptionist responded by raising their voice and insisting harshly that it was hotel policy, otherwise we had to pay extra. There was no flexibility or polite communication, which left a bad impression.

Definitely come back again!

It was so quiet, and the staff are very helpful and lively. The hotel has the front beach, where we can lie down and enjoy swimming or sunbeds, and it's not busy at all.

It's a bit far from the pier where everything is, but it's not the major concern for me, as in the hotel we've got pretty much everything.

Quiet stay on Ko Phi Phi

- quiet surroundings - snorkeling was possible at the hotel beach - very nice facilities with a lot of nature around

- there were only a few restaurants around which limited the available options for dinner. Also the restaurants very seldom had a lot of vegetarian options.

Beautiful, relaxing, tropical paradise

The room was large, very clean, and a really good layout. We loved that the mini bar was free, we were also given daily vanity supplies, and the shower was massive! The view from the balcony was out of this world, the food was great, and the beach was very secluded.

Beach: Pleasant and well-maintained, with deck chairs provided exclusively for hotel guests. Infinity Pool: A highlight of the stay, with excellent views and a relaxing atmosphere. Accommodation (Cottages): The cottages were very nice, providing a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Breakfast: Satisfying overall, though a broader selection would improve the experience. Restaurant: Thai dishes were excellent, while some international options (such as pizza) were less impressive. Closed Pool: One pool was closed for a single day, unexpectedly coinciding with our last day.

The perfect perfection

Everything here was perfect….for the moment you step on the boat at the pier until you check out!….rooms are nice and clean with a stunning view (if you don’t mind walking up the stairs, the rooms above the hill have an incredible view and sunset), food was very good and generous in quantity, the massage ladies are great (at the entrance of the hotel) and the staff were very smiley, kind and always caring….a must go back hotel!

Absolutely amazing views and a private beach! Its a little away from the Phi Phi mainland which means you are in a very comfortable place with no noise and hustle bustle. They have boats to take you to and from the mainland.

The bathrooms were clean and nice but a little dingy. It’s difficult to get to the mainland if you want to go at night since their last boat to go there leaves at 8 and you can’t come back after 8 by their boat and you have to make your own arrangements. The cost of one way trip is about 300 bahts per person after 6 pm.

Would skip staying in phi phi and spend more time on Koh Lanta

We had a bungalow with a nice big balcony, the beach location was excellent.

The free longboat shuttle to the hotel was a long wait on the dock as the only boat could only handle a small portion of all the passengers getting off the ferry going to the hotel at once. The check in was fine but the room was dark and smelled a little like a sewer. We had to ask to change rooms and the second one was better. The staff all seemed unhappy and quiet they all live and work at the hotel on the island. The area is pretty isolated with only a couple other smaller hotels nearby so other than the beach not much else to do. The room was kind of rustic with a large space under the door and around a window in the bath that let some lizards and roaches find their way in. We spent a month traveling Thailand and in hindsight should have skipped phi phi with no cars allowed not much besides the beach and felt like the reason to stay there was to to take a tour to somewhere off the island.

Good place for beach lovers

Long beach is one of the nicest on the island, and there is a great place to do the snorkeling just in front of the hotel. Couple of other nice beaches are within short walk from the hotel. Staff was very friendly, and we appreciated the possibility to get the lift to the bungalow at any time of the day. Hotel offers free taxi boat to the pier until 2 pm, which is nice as this is the only mean of transport on the island. The barman organizes the taxis if you do not want to wait or need one after 2 pm. The room service works great, though it is a shame that the menu is so limited comparing to the one of the hotel restaurant. Swimming pools are also nice, especially the one next to the beach we discovered only couple of hours before leaving the place :) There is a small fire show at the beach every day at 9pm (if weather permits).

Villas are small, at least the one four of us were stying (303) and would benefit from a small refresh on the outside. Decoration inside is also rather modest. TV wasn’t working, which is a bit of a shame since the weather forced us to stay indoors every evening. Kettle in this room needs to be changed, it does not switch off automatically, I burned myself a bit. Complimentary drinks in the fridge are of some local brand, not very tasty. Strangest thing was that for the entire day no one picked up the tray with the dirty plates that we left outside, almost on the road. We could have ringed the reception, but we thought someone from staff would do the needful since they were passing by from time to time.

Paradise on earth

The hotel was amazing the beach of the hotel is really a +, the staff is really professional and fun to speak with. I have to say that if you like cats, this is the hotel you want to go to, the cats are so well behaved very cute. You have everything to make you comfortable in this hotel, really a paradise on earth. The rooms are magnificent, the view we had was breathtaking, no sound from the neighbours you have a big balcony and some seats it was amazing. You can see the island where Maya Bay is from the beach 24/7 it’s really great atmosphere, great snorkeling spot just in front of you. We went during the rainy season and the weather was ok, on 6 days of stay just one day of big storm, the other days were sometimes cloudy but very hot. The ride from the hotel to the center on boat is fast and it’s 100 baht per person, it’s easy to get to. One thing to say maybe is that in bad weather the boat will drop you off a little before you’ll have to go through the jungle but it’s really ok. We loved the cats a lot!

I couldn’t say goodbye to my favorite cat :( Everything was amazing nothing to say that I didn’t like. The restaurant can be a little bit expensive (it’s an island so it’s understandable) but we preferred to spend more at the restaurant of the hotel rather than the center for the really good food, we ate seafood and a lot of chicken no problem here neither. Restaurant really good !😊

Overall a very nice hotel with lovely staff but allow for more travel time during off-season times

This property was lovely - the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant and the breakfast buffet was very tasty, the rooms were very clean and spacious and the private beach is gorgeous and sandy.

Although the private beach is a bonus, unfortunately the main mode of transport to the accommodation is by boat taxi, which is difficult in off-season times with high tide as the boats can’t always dock in the hotel’s pier. However the hotel were very accommodating and arranged a tuktuk to bring us to an alternative beach to get a boat taxi. Our friends stayed in a standard room and we paid extra for a nicer room. Our room was nicer however they had a smart TV, and we only had local TV stations.

Lovely views from all cabins across the bay to Phi Phi Ley. Stunning from every angle.

- Most cabins are accessed via fairly steep climb up a hill. - The main strip of Phi Phi can only be accessed via long tail boat taxi, which was quite expensive and tricky to get on and off, often involved jumping from the boat into knee-deep sea on the beach. Our teenagers loved this but we middle aged parents found this tricky, especially in the dark. Free transfers are offered by the resort, but only when arriving at, and departing from the resort. - Our cabin had a strong sewage smell in the bathroom which was unpleasant. This was likely to be a one off problem with our cabin though as we had rented a second cabin for our kids which was fine and had no bad smell.

Gorgeous resort and the beach was beautiful

Absolutely gorgeous resort, stunning beach and amazing rooms, room was lovely and spacious. Lovely beach and lots of sun loungers, sea is beautiful and lovely to swim in. Restaurant was also very good. You can get a boat into town on the hour at the resort for 100baht per person, we had no problems and found this very convenient.

Not much to do at the resort at night possibly because we came in low season. We loved everything else.

Relaxing stay in beautiful location

Clean property in a beautiful location right on the beach. Being away from the loud main area meant the stay was serene and relaxing. The staff were friendly and always happy to help. The room that I stayed in that was advertised as having no view still had a beautiful view of the jungle, so that was a lovely surprise!

I wasn't aware quite how difficult it was to walk to the main part of Phi Phi Don (I have a very good level of fitness). It’s a good 45 minute walk to Tonsai pier and involves a section of climbing in the jungle and it’s not well signposted. You can instead catch a long tail boat that will cost 100-150 baht per person depending on the time of day.

Restaurant and bar team! They were nice, attentive and professional. From breakfast to dinner time. Housekeeping team was amazing too.

Reception team were terrible!! Super arrogant, every single day, from check-in until check-out! The rooms are up the hill. Be careful if you are travelling with children. When i questioned the gentleman at the front desk about my cabin beeing so far up the hill, since i had a 4 year old with me, he told me i could cancel and look for another hotel. Just like that. When i was checking out, i was told to walk to the pier under heavy rain, with my child. Terrible Another question is the room is always full of bugs. Its basically a jungle, but just pay attention to it.
