We really loved the peaceful atmosphere and the stunning sea views. The location is beautiful and perfect if you want to relax away from the busy center. The room was clean and comfortable, and waking up to that view every morning was amazing. The whole place feels calm and special.
The only small inconvenience is that it’s a bit far from the town and you need a boat ride to get there, so it requires some planning. But once you arrive, it’s definitely worth it.

A sensational setting. OK the 140 steps up from the beach in 32 degree heat, we're tough....but so worth it! The staff were amazing
Attentive, courteous, and you could tell they were a real work family. Felt like we were staying in a tree house. Basic but the bed was so comfy. The food in the evening was great and the breakfast very generous with lots of options. Had a little tear when we left.
Only slight drawback was the cost of longtail boats to get to phi phi main area. However after visiting once we never felt the need to go back! Chaos there, a real party resort. Long beach was the place to be. Sunrises within a 10 min walk snorkeling reasonably priced sunbeds, a night fire show at a nearby bar, and peace and quiet.

The views from the room were amazing! The location is quiet, and the nearby beach is very nice. The breakfast was okay for our one-night stay. The resort grounds are nicely decorated with well-maintained greenery, and our room was clean and had all the necessary amenities. They also offer a free boat transfer from Tonsai Pier and back for check-in and check-out, which was very convenient!
There's a 140-step climb up to the hotel, so keep that in mind before booking. The best way to get there is by boat from Tonsai Pier, so it's not ideal for people with mobility issues. Another odd thing: there was no bathroom door, which was just... strange.

During our stay, we appreciated the many thoughtful conveniences offered by the hotel. A dedicated longboat is available to transport hotel guests to and from the ferry, which makes arrival and departure very easy. There is also a luggage elevator, so there is no need to carry heavy suitcases by hand. The staff were always smiling, extremely friendly, and genuinely helpful. We also received a prepared map showing the fastest walking route from the hotel to the town center, which was a nice touch. Prices are typical for a resort destination, but the food was tasty and well worth it. The views from the property are absolutely beautiful, and the hotel’s location, slightly away from the busy center, provides a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.
The only downside was the lack of proper storage space for clothes in the room. There were no shelves or a dresser available—only a hanging rail with hangers, which made organizing our belongings somewhat inconvenient.

The location, the view right from your bedroom
There is nothing that is not likeable at this place. For some the stairs leading to the resort could be troublesome but the height of the resort is what provides those awesome views. All you can hear are the birds chirping and the sea waves.

The view was absolutely amazing and very private. The staff were lovely and made us feel very special. The room felt very luxurious, it was super clean and spacious. Sunset drinks on the balcony were so special and it was amazing to see the island from where we were.
Getting taxi boats from long beach to the main bit of koh phi phi was a bit inconvenient but it was worth it to stay in a quieter part of the island which beautiful beaches. If this part of the island had a few more restaurants and bars it would be perfect.

Good amenities and view. Very good breakfast. Beach 10 min walking (stairs)
The room was too hot and there were a lot of stairs to climb to get to the place. The center is also only reachable with both (100-150 bath everytime) or 45 min walking.

Great views from the top of the hill.
Outdated bungalows with holes around the door, no restaurant, very basic breakfast, hundred steps to get to the top, you can’t get to the city by walking.

Everything was perfect, the staff is lovely, very respectful.
The accomodation is very nice and the view is awesome !!
The breakfast was perfect as well thank you so much for that experience.😁😁😁
Absolutely nothing 😂

Location is great on Long Beach if you like being away from the main city of Phi Phi.
Beach towels were available every day to use.
We booked the island boat tours through the hotel as they were cheaper than the rest.
It was a little basic to what we were expecting, the shower was just a shower head and a little tricky to shower with.

Like all the objectives that HIP was given us.

The staff are so kind and welcoming—they made us feel like special guests from check-in to check-out. The manager and staff were very attentive. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. They even picked us up from the pier and helped carry our things all the way to our room. The view was stunning, and even though it rained, our stay was relaxing and memorable. The dinner was superb—delicious food with a perfect sea view.
Nothing significant, everything was great. The only challenge is the uphill walk, but it’s worth it for the beautiful view.

Everything!
It's advertised as 3 star but actually is 5 star!
There are steps going up but there are tons of platforms and you will be so busy taking in the breath taking view you won't mind the 4 min walk up.
Nothing totally exceptional and magical!

The view from our bungalow was just amazing! I fully recommend to pay a bit more for those bungalows with better views, it is definitely worth it. All worked ok, incl. complimentary longtail boat.

One of the best places I stayed in Thailand. Very beautiful.
Only the front desk lady, very rude.

Such a nice view!! Close to some beautiful beaches. Very peaceful. Great breakfast
The stairs were very tiring, but otherwise it was great! Away from the main town, so had to take a boat across, but I liked the quiet nature here.

Love the room, setting, food, and staff. Also, really appreciated the strong Wifi for work video meetings.
While I enjoyed the peace of being away from the hustle and bustle and tourism of town, it was a bit of a trek to and from town. However, one can pay 100 - 150 THB for a boat ride between town and Long Beach. So very manageable.

Beautiful sea views in a lovely part of Phi Phi. Long Beach is very secluded which is exactly what we were after! The staff are friendly and the rooms have everything we needed for a short stay.
The first night there were what looked like blood stains on our bed sheets and pillows. One of the towels was also stained. Unfortunately, we saw these stains too late in the night, and reception was closed by then, so we couldn’t get a fresh set of linen. The next day we told reception about the issue and they were apologetic and helpful. They changed our sheets immediately. Unfortunately the second set was also stained… Shocking to say the least. The cabin we stayed at also had a strong unpleasant musty smell. Would not recommend based on cleanliness.

Great view and peaceful.
Had to get boat from main town, steep hike.
9.0 / 10.0
Amazing views from the hillside. Our cabin was clean and modern, a very good shower and comfortable bed with plenty of space available.
Reasonable enough breakfast which was included in the price so all good on that front.
The men assisting with the longboats were great and very helpful with baggage both to/from arrival/departure (compimentary) as well as providing taxi services (100-150baht depending on day or night) into town at other times. Good location to quickly get to Tonsai pier if you’re wanting to do boat tours from there. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful
It’s advertised and well known but the amount of stairs is a lot - take your time in hot weather and obviously it is not a suitable location for physically challenged people.

The restaurant has a great view of the island and the staff are very friendly! The hotel is in an excellent location with easy access to the east and west beaches, with few tourists.
The water from the tap and shower is salty. I think this is getting too bad.
4.0 / 10.0
The breakfast was so so, very little choice
Coffee and tea were terrible
Location of the hotel is great , beautiful view, but to get there is painful
The stairs are exhausting
We stayed 5 nights which is far too much
As there are no facilities at the hotel, you have to go down the stairs for food at Tonsai town or the perfectly good hotel next door.
Most long boat captains are lazy to take you to the stairs drop off , and will drop you a distance away.
Internet was pretty good , bed was great
We stayed in a new build bungalow
The finishing is terrible in the bathroom nothing is fixed properly
The roof leaf cover is unfinished
A far cry compared to the older bungalows
Housekeeping did not

We took one Seaview villa and one garden view for 2 nights. No bathtub for villa and inside the resort no swimming pool at all. When I asked about the swimming pool stuff told me in front of the resort open sea can swim there and have to climb up and down 160+ stairs up hill.

Actually nothing
The access to the resort via 130 stairs are crazy.

I liked staff, they were very kind (unlike at another hotel in PhiPhi they were very cold to us). Clean rooms, everyday made up the bed, filed water, tookout rubbish bin. They serve breakfast-you choose from the list (omelette, scrambled eggs, yoghurt, muesli, pancake). There is an amazing view. They arrange a longtail boat from and to ferry at check in and check out for free.
There is over 150 steps to hotel, but it’s okay if you are healthy and fit.
5.0 / 10.0
Beautiful location and view over the sea. Welcome drink and cold towel on arrival. Staff were very helpful with luggage and booking boat taxis and tours. Breakfast was basic but okay.
The room itself was quite run down, no door to the bathroom and had a padlock to lock to main door. The towels did not smell clean at all and we weren’t given new ones during our stay. Lots of ants and a cockroach in the bathroom although we understand the jungle setting.
6.0 / 10.0
- good location on the best beach
- free boat pickup service
- cockroach in bathroom
- very simple interior (true for many accomodation on this island to be fair)
- bathroom rather unsanitary

The staff is beyond amazing. So friendly and kind, they always go the extra mile to make you feel like you are at home. By far the best part of our stay.
The hotel is located at the opposite end of the island from the harbor, so it's really quiet with some impressive views at the sea. If you don´t mind climbing some stairs (145), it´s totally worth it.
The rooms are cozy if somewhat small, but we didn´t mind.
It isn´t that big of a deal, but the rooms feel kind of old and could use some maintenance and/or improvements. It might be hard to do so because of the pandemic, but I like to think that they will do something about it once they are back at their 100%!

Seaview is awesome.
The ladder for access the property are horrendous

The view, closeness to the beach, well located.
Lack of hotel facilities on the beach
3.0 / 10.0
The bed was comfortable and view was nice
When I got to the room there were stains on the mattress. On top of that I was never told about the walk from the pier to the hotel which was incredibly dangerous since I did it at night because there were no taxis. When I told the staff about this they just told me I should’ve asked and that it’s my fault even though they told me it was an easy 40 min walk. In general the staff were very hostile to any complaint or discomfort. On top of all of that there was no hot water
3.0 / 10.0
Just ok for couple who want to chill in room and beach, market is far and need boat taxi which frustrating in low tide and high tide time specially in june to October. In hotel there is no facility like pool and restaurant is also limited. The biggest problem is the commute from hotel to central place every time you need to pay 100-400 bath per person for one way. Even hotel staff told that they will help you out for boat taxi later they said come by walk which is 45 min, strictly Not recommended, try to book in central phi phi or come back to hotel as soon as possible.
Location and facilities

The staff was super nice helpfull! The view was good and the beds were clean and comfy. The location made the stay special, away from the center and the nightlife and in the jungle high above the sea, the stairs were no problem, thay have a lift for the bags and it shouldnt be hard for anyone to get up some stairs, the view is also worth it. Long beach is beutifull and very nice and quiet but it lacks good restaurants and stores, but it’s easy to take a taxi boat to the town for 100baht per person in the day and 150 in the night. The breakfast was great and the dinner was also lovely.
There is some difference between rooms, some of them are nicer than the others(I think they are renovating them), we did not like our first room but the staff was super helpful and found new room for us that we felt comfortable.
