Nothing. The owner was money minded and cheated without giving a safe stay place. I took loss and moved elsewhere to stay. Family members donot stay at this place.

Nearby mosque’s loudspeakers for call to prayer at 4 am interrupted sleep, but that’s not in the hotel’s control! Bring earplugs.

Great for Surfing Medewi Point

Really wonderful staff! So helpful with everything and always smiling! 🧡, organised scooters, surf guides and recommendations. So close to the medewi point break, just walk out the gate and start paddling to the point. The yoga on site is run by a really lovely instructor. You can walk to restaurants nearby, or you can get a scooter and explore places a little further away.

We really enjoyed staying at AgaLiving and would definitely come back another time. The wooden houses are very nice as well as the pool. Friendly staff, nice breakfast & yoga terrace! We’re travelling other places in Bali right now and already missing the chill Medewi vibes 🏄🏽‍♂️

The BEST

We had a truly wonderful stay at AgaLiving Medewi. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, everything was spotless, and the atmosphere was peaceful and welcoming. Our family felt completely at ease and well cared for throughout our stay. We left with warm memories and are already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommended – thank you to the entire team and management for making our time so special!

Loved Medewi, not a perfect stay

Beautiful place, great location for Medewi and breakfast was fantastic.

Manager was not the best. Seemed very reluctant to help us. He rented us a scooter that broke down in the middle of nowhere an hour away and he was not very helpful. The owner of the scooter covered the cost of the repair, but the hotel did nothing to help with the cost of transportation or the additional night we had to stay away. Quite nasty about a bunch of other things and communication was weak. Rest of the staff were great.

Very good place to stay for surfers

The staff, they always find a solution for what you need no matter what it is. The proximity to the beach and surf spots. Proximity to local coffee and restaurants. The quietness of the place between prayers.

Prayers from the mosque are really loud, and the one of 5am was waking us up every morning without exception (5 per day everyday). I work remotely so these two weeks were challenging for that. (Earplugs don’t change nothing). I think it’s something that should be mentioned somewhere. The cleaning was not perfect but we are not too bothered by that (dust on top of closets, marks on ceiling). The rest was ok. The wooden houses are very dark.

Great stay in Medewi

We had an amazing stay for our surf trip. Beach front. We also enjoyed their pool. Breakfast was delicious. Walking distance from restaurants and warungs. The staff and Dawok the manager were very nice and helpful. Always with a big smile!

We stayed in a gorgeous villa! Super friendly check in and help was given when we needed it. Smashing value. Good breakfast at the villa too. There is a mosque close by.

Natural and calm

We had a very good time at AgaLiving in Medewi. It is very close to the surfspot, there is a nice pool and the area is very calm and natural. Everyone was really nice, we rented surfboards and a scooter here and everything worked out really nice.

There was some smell in the bathroom and it could have been a little bit cleaner overall. For room cleaning it took a bit of asking and we would have loved to do yoga, but we got no information about that.

Very lovely, felt overpriced

It was a great stay with surfboard rentals available onsite and the main break was in easy walking distance. The breakfast was really delicious, and the property grounds were beautiful. The room was comfortable and large, and the bathroom was well-equipped and had hot water in the shower.

We stayed quite a few similar places in Bali that we also really loved, but they were all a quarter of the price. We would consider staying here again if it were more affordable. Possibly we happened to arrive when they raised prices for the peak season starting, and in fairness the main hotels in the area are quite a bit more expensive than they were. It seems like maybe they’re still trying to get everything running like it was before the pandemic? We felt that there were other options with similar offerings (but not quite the location) nearby that would have been much more affordable.

The best accommodation we had in Bali!!! We had a wonderful view from the ocean and from coconut trees forest!! We really enjoyed the surf, the waves and the fantastic yoga classes with Niluh 🤍!!! For the breakfast try the banana pancakes were yummy!!! Very good surfboards for rental!

Absolutely amazing!

The best accommodation we had in Bali. It looks even better in reality than in the picture. The staff was very friendly and made us feel at home. We stayed in a wooden bungalow. It was beautifully decorated, with sea view, huge bed and well equipped (fridge, kettle, tea, lots of hangers and storage for clothes). Perfect location in front of the beach and surrounded by a garden. Would definitely go back.

Best place we stayed in Bali

The staff was AMAZING!! Always available when we needed them, so lovely and kind. We got in very late on the first night and were super hungry but not many places were still open and the host went out and got us some local food and brought it to our room! It was soooo good and very very affordable. The pool is very nice, the room was huge and well kept. The room we had was somewhat from the mosque, and with earplugs we had no problem sleeping through to morning. The beach directly in front of the property is a fishing beach, and definitely smells like it. But only a couple hundred meters up the coast you’ll find some lovely beach front spots to eat and hang out at that over look a great surfing beach. Medewi has a very laid back vibe, everyone is so friendly and we felt very safe and well taken care of. We will definitely stay with agaliving if we’re ever in Medewi again 😊 (I’m from America, not Indonesia… not sure why my profile says that)

Unfortunately, the beach accessible from the property is littered with trash, walking to the beach was disappointing. Some of the staff have very little English and couldn't answer our questions.

The Best Bali trip we have ever been on :)

If i could give a higher score i would! AGALIVING was absolutely fantastic. I will have to write a detailed review as the summary on the website does not do it justice on what they really provide. We enjoyed every minute we stayed there. The staff were exceptional, friendly, helpful, from recommendations for eating, tours, surfing spots, motorbike hire, massages, the list goes on and they couldn't do enough to ensure our stay was enjoyable. The in house Yoga classes were amazing for my wife and a daily massage organised for her in room. We also managed to meet the owner whilst there who was so friendly and accommodating. The Location was perfect and some will mention or not like the mosque noise and the fishing boats smell etc however we didn't mind it and could walk to wherever we needed for a meal or a drink. We did hire a scooter for a few days which just allowed us to explore more of this beautiful area. The pool was awesome and a relaxing area with nice daybeds and sun lounges, a perfect place to relax after a surf. We liked being able to refill our water bottles, keeping the waste of plastic bottles to a minimum. You can order lunch or dinner in house from a selection of restaurants they have menus for and it is delivered on site for free if you didn't want to head out for a meal. Our Bungalow was superb, spacious, clean, and quiet. We had a great view and sitting on our front deck in the morning having the delicious made to order breakfast making a great start to the day. The sunsets were amazing and we went to a few beachside restaurants to enjoy this. There are many surfing spots to choose from on the tides whether you like a beach break or the rocky bottom break, Medewi accommodates for all surfers. I travelled with my own longboard. I could go into more detail on what we loved but you will need to come here for yourself and experience the place for yourself.

A cozy and feel like home stay at Medewi

I stayed 6 nights at Agaliving and right from the beginning I felt at home. All the staff were amazing, very kind and courteous. This is where I had my first scooter ride with Sri who drove me to a fruit shop. My room was very spacious with a large terrace which made it easy for me to work during afternoons. Delicious breakfast served in your room or on the terrace. The location at the beachfront is ideal close to cafes, restaurants and surf spots. You hear the muezzins singing true which one get use to it. I also had the pleasure to meet the owner Aga, his family and his sister and together with the whole staff we had a lovely time together. I can highly recommend this place !!

Beautiful Place, right on the Beach. Rooms are huge, clean and have fantastic views. Pool is amazing, Breakfast was great, Staff very friendly and helpful.

There is a Mosque right across the street. The Prayer times are extremely loud and are often at 4-5 am. We got used to it however if you are sensitive to this bring earplugs!
