What a beautiful place with such welcoming hosts and staff! We had a lovely week here with breakfast on the terrace. And we were lucky to have been able to extend our stay! It’s right by the beach, so perfect if you want to surf. We rented our boards right there and thoroughly enjoyed our days at Aga - thanks for everything!

Probably the best spot if you are a chill person looking for a tranquil place to lounge and to surf. Local owner, staff were so so so awesome, beautiful serene quiet grounds, bumping WiFi, great breakfast ripping ac and hot water. Paradise if you bring noise cancelling headphones for the morning mosque….. or just wake up with the morning prayer to surf!

We really enjoyed our stay at AgaLiving Medewi. The room was large and comfortable, the verandah had amazing views and watching the surfers eating your breakfast from your verandah, was great. Everything worked well and the staff were very nice and friendly. The gardens are lovely and the surf is nearby. They rent surf boards out to those wanting to surf. It is a very popular surfing location with two decent surf breaks, one more intermediate the other more tame for the beginners. We will be back.
We loved the call to prayer in the early morning and during the day, with the mosque just up the road from the accommodation. For light sleepers not wanting this, ear plugs are the go.

Wooden house-style is relatively new, using recycled timbers with history imprinted on them, the garden grounds are well planted with chickens wantering around and large koi in the pond.
Location is a short walk from fishing fleet and warung to watch the sunset as the boats launch and again in the morning as they return. Close to beach entry point for surfing and watching surfing. Manager was efficient and kindly showed us around. Conversation with the owner was warm and welcoming - what an interesting family.
Mosque is quite close, and will be a consideration for those of a different religion, but a major plus for those who want a room close to worship. A warung on-site (eg near pool), tv in room, hair-dryer would improve the room comfort. Chose this location for the pool, but didn't realise it would be surrounded by rooms, making me hesitant to disrupt others.
