It was clean and woman was really nice :)

Take some earbuds with you :) The fan needs to run all night (at least for me) & I had a gecko roommate who woke me up in the night. But I guess that’s the jungle house experience :) and it was fine after I made him leave. I was also alone unfortunately. But it’s low season.

Wonderful stay in the jungle with lovely hosts!!

Wonderful stay, the host and the staff (Leah) were fantastic, warm, kind, and so welcoming! Pleasure to meet these people and thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Some geckos, insects and their poo in our room (but to be expected and HARD to avoid when you are literally in the middle of the jungle. Wonderful stay!!

Wonderfull

The host Lia was a very kind, warm hearted adorable woman. She also has an option for laundry service. The place was very beautifull around. You had the jungle and 20 minutes walking, you had also the beach. Best of both worlds!

I like warm showers but its personal for me. i dont mind to the cold showers, it was refreshing and for the rest i cant think of something. When i arrived Lia told where you could eat, events nearby so actually it was a very warm stay where you also can meet other people, you can connect with other people in the stay

Beautiful property just North of the main Medewi strip. Big comfortable rooms and a great little kitchen to use. Lia and Sup were both very welcoming and helpful with everything from washing to checking the surf forecast for me. Highly recommend

The location is great if you want to be close to the rice fields and with a scorer you’re in 5min at the beach. The staff is very lovely and the place is beautiful

Loved it

I stayed here for a few weeks and absolutely loved it. It's located in a quiet area surrounded by jungle and close to the river but you can drive easily to all the surfspots in Medewi with a scooter. The people working there are lovely and take care of the place really well. Would absolutely come back!

Surf, chill, repeat – the perfect Medewi stay

I couldn’t recommend Jungle House more! Staying at Sup’s guest house in Medewi was an amazing experience. Sup and his family are incredibly kind and welcoming, making you feel at home from the moment you arrive. If you're looking to relax, enjoy nature, and catch some waves, this is the perfect spot. Just 5 minutes to Medewi Beach, home to Bali’s best left-hand wave — ideal for surfers of all levels. Sup also offers surf lessons if you're looking to improve or just get started. Tucked away from the main road, the only sounds you’ll hear are birds and the rustle of nature. It’s peaceful, beautiful, and a great way to experience the real Bali.

There’s no hot water — but that’s part of the true jungle experience.

Best place stayed in Bali

Location in the middle of the jungle, but 4 minutes from main surf spot and places. Service, helped with advice on the surf, recommended a place for fixing my board when need it, rented a scooter, did laundry and the dorms are basically 2 small rooms with 2 beds each. Can’t get any better for such price

Had the best time!

Nice location with peace and quiet, but very close to the Surfspotd, restaurants etc. Medewi is a lovely place in general and the owner Sup and also the maintenance Lady Lia are absolutely lovely and welcoming. Sup can give surf lessons, organise board rental, scooter and help with questions about transportation. Also very nice that there is always drinking water and a kitchen. Also all guests were super nice and the vibe was amazing.

We loved ther beautiful garden and accomodation. It was such amazing value. The room and bathroom were really nice and spacious. The shower is amazing! Perfect place to stay. The hosts were so helpful and hospitable. We tried to extend our stay twice!

Amazing !

Beautiful location next to the river. The bungalow is really confortable and has a lot of space for your belongings (I was staying in the dorm). Beautiful view on the trees, perfect for people that loves the nature. The bed is also confortable.

I don’t know how to ride a scooter so it was a bit far for me walking (30 min walk from the beach ).

Little piece of paradise

Its like a sanctuary in the jungle. I picked this place because I heard great things about surf lessons with Sup. I ended up staying and taking a week of lessons (started as a beginner) and Sup was a great teacher and super chill which I loved. Everyone was so friendly, room was clean and always cool (with a fan) and I loved the jungle style shower. I used the kitchen a lot too, and there's free drinking water (which is such a bonus). It's close to the river and if you walk into medewi (it's like 20mins) all the kids are so friendly and will high 5 you. It's perfect if you're looking for a little oasis thats quiet and chill

My stay was amazing.

If you love to be in the nature, its your jam! Silence and sounds of animals, thats all you hear. Beautiful open bathroom, comfortable bed, clean kitchen, beautiful garden if you like do yoga. I loved it.

Make sure you can drive a scooter, gograb doesnt work here. But if you do, owner will help you with the rent and with everything you need, Sup is super helpfull and amazing host.

Nice quiet hostel in the middle of the jungle, easy to socialize with other travelers there, friendly owner who helped me to rent a scooter and gave me surf lessons.

Could be nice to have a small duvet as the nights are a bit cold (there is only a fitted sheet) And not a big deal as the days are warm but good to know: there is no hot water in the shower

Initially intended to stay for 2 days I ended up staying here for 3 weeks. This place is in the heart of a traditional Balinese village, something what Canggu or rest of Bali must have been decades ago. The property is a tropical dream, made of bamboo, wood, glass which gives a real raw feeling but the beds and bathroom and the atmosphere are very comfortable. Make sure you can ride a scooter because it's about 2kms from the surf spot, but trust me it's a good thing. There aren't many hostels like this left anywhere in Bali. Sup, the owner/manager is a really cool guy who instantly makes you feel welcomed. All fellow surfers I met here were humble, grounded, authentic adventurers. Book it and enjoy your stay!

This place is so beautiful and quiet, right beside the river and surrounded by lush green jungle. Perfect simple accommodation for solo travellers or couples. I stayed a week and felt super relaxed and comfortable. The owner/care taker is such a lovely person. Highly recommend.
