About this house rental

The former court house is one of the oldest and most interesting monuments of the Passeiertal. According to reports and sources, some parts of the house are from the Middle Ages; The completely preserved stone vaulted cellars go back to the year 1150. The rooms and chambers above were saved 15 years ago from decay, carefully renovated and made comfortably habitable.
In the bathrooms there are electric underfloor heating and the old brick stoves in the room and the bedrooms are heated by heating coils. A modern wood stove in the open living area provides a cozy cosiness. Everyone is welcome in our house. It is very spacious with a living and usable area of 300 sqm. On 2.5 floors it offers generous space for 12 people in 5 bedrooms. In the attic is a newly renovated large bright room with 4 bunk beds. If required, an additional 2 persons can be accommodated on a double mattress on the gallery. The house is suitable for 1, 2 or even 3 families, for couples or groups.

In the direct neighboring farm - Krustnerhof - lives a very nice farmer family, who welcomes you on arrival, introduces you to the house and answers all your questions. Here you can get fresh eggs or freshly milked milk in the morning directly from the farm.

In the house are still many original details from the past centuries available and we kindly ask you to meet the old house with respect for old buildings and please also with care (especially with small children upstairs), as the stairs and low doors z. T. do not meet today's standards. A South Tyrolean folklorist has rebuilt the rare relic into a holiday home with much love and knowledge of history. There you can take a break from everyday life, without hassle and noise.

Important for the booking:
The house is rented from January to October and over Christmas only on a weekly basis, changeover day is Saturday!
The cleaning fee of € 112 and the local tax of € 1.15 per person per day must be paid locally.

Our family had a wonderful time in this historic farmhouse. We arrived by way of Innsbruck and the drive and scenery along the way was certainly breathtaking. We chose this house because of it's charm. It is not your typical VRBO house. The best way I can describe it is that it is an experience. Reclaimed wood was used during the renovation to preserve the character of the space. There are ample beds for a large party. The bathrooms are beautifully remodeled with all modern conveniences. Look for the trap door to the cellar for another adventure. We enjoyed the upper living room with the fireplace. One evening we lit a fire in the fire place and shut off all the lights to get a feel for what it may have been like for residents of past years. It was nice to just sit and talk on such a quiet evening. There is a washing machine and grill on the premises. The neighbors are super friendly and you can get fresh eggs and milk each evening. The upper loft was just beautifully renovated. There is a nice porch to relax and enjoy dawn or dusk. There is a restaurant two houses up the hill that has AMAZING food and wonderful hospitality. I shouldn't forget the friendly cat that greets you when you go outside of the house. My kids loved that. Journey farther up the pass and you will find a little ski town with a gondola and many paths to walk on. This is a different kind of place. A place to relax, unplug and melt away into nature. I highly recommend it. Much thanks to Eva for being so helpful in accommodating us.
