Host, Location, Room, Are Amazing/Highly Recommend

Chris is an amazing host. She was very communicative, kind, and very accommodating. I also love that she uses eco-friendly products and is trying to convert many of the fixtures, practices, etc. to eco-friendly in their use. It is only an 8 minute walk to the lake. I came in the off season so I got to see the town putting up Christmas decorations around the lakeside, including pop up market stalls, all of which were decked out in Christmas fare. The whole town looked like it was going to be really cool. There is even a huge light show on the side of the mountain. I recommend Ancora and Mottino Garda for a yummy, fancy, yet homemade tasting but not terribly expensive lunch/dinner. There is also a supermarket within a 6 or 7 minute walk. The one thing I would suggest is that you really plan out how you’re going to get from Peschiera del Garda train station to Saoo. Chris is very good about giving you the options. It’s best not to drive. Have a great trip because you can’t beat Chris and Saoo.

I did hear what sounded like yelling a couple of times, but never at night and I also am a homebody so I stayed in the B&B a lot. It wouldn’t prevent me from going back. Also the taxi driver was speeding like crazy around the extremely curvy terrain. It was disconcerting, but we made it there in rather quick time.

Lovely stay with a great host

Super friendly host with delicious breakfast, which pays attention to regional products. The rooms are spacious, clean and modern, with an emphasis on sustainability. In addition, the location is very good, you are in 5min in the center of Garda and at the beach.

Garda and a fantastic place to stay and feeling special from the first moment

Chris is a fantastic host and has a created unique place with creativiy and much heart. The Saoõ accomondation is a very welcoming place for travelers who love a mindfull and outstanding interioer desinged style-place to stay in Garda. Chris did magic every morning with a wonderfull breakfast beyond any "standard".

Chris was amazing host and made us very welcome we instantly felt at home, nothing was to much trouble , Mums Cookies and cakes were delicious 😋

Possibly put a small kettle and tea and coffee in the room, being British we love a cuppa tea in bed in the morning… some storage draws would also be helpful. .

8 minute walk from the lake. The room was clean and designed in a stylish way. Host Chris was absolutely wonderful. Gave me a few recommendations and was very approachable. I enjoyed the breakfast. Chris, well done on the olive oil!! It was delicious.

We had a wonderful stay at Saoō. Chris is the most lovely host you can imagine! The apartment has a beautiful & unique interior and was perfectly clean. You can reach the lake in 10 minutes by foot. The breakfast is mostly selfmade, 10/10 would recommend!!

Great stay with a great host

We stayed only one night but everything was perfect! Chris made sure we felt at home! The breakfast was amazing and made with fresh and local products! Chris' mum made the jam (yummy)! You will sleep like a baby in those very confy beds! Grazie mile Chris!

Amazing stay at saoō

Chris was such a lovely host! We went to Saoō for a weekend and the stay had not could be better. The room was really nice, made with a lot of love and with environment friendly materials - so we slept pretty well! Every morning Chris made breakfast for the guests and to be honest - this was one of the best breakfasts we have ever had in Italy. All in all we can really recommend Saoō for everyone and we will be back for sure!

SO GOOD! I miss it.

We stayed here as part of our honeymoon and we absolutely loved it. The room was big. Decor was really nice. Bed was comfy and spacious. We had a very nice en suite. All sheets & towels etc. were organic and very soft! Everything was cleaned every 2 days so the hygiene is excellent. 5 minute walk from Garda town where there are loads of bars and restaurants. Ferry & bus station very close too. The owner Chris is such a nice person! She makes breakfast every morning, including; freshly baked bread with various spreads, cereals & yogurts, fresh fruits, a cheese board & fresh coffee/juices. She also gave us suggestions of where to visit. We were very sad to leave and cannot wait to go back!

Recommended place!

The breakfast was delicious. The host was very friendly and explain to us everything we eat, she did the bread by herself in the morning! The bed is big and very comfortable. everything in the place is organic and beautifully designed. You need to off your shoes when you go inside the apartment so it's made us feel at home. It is also close to the center.

There were 3 rooms and only 1 bathroom together whit the toilet.

Peaceful room in a convenient location, very clean, staff went above and beyond with us with our difficult timing of leaving so early and still providing breakfast. Very comfortable bed, organic cotton sheets and lovely terrace to sit on.

A beautiful place to stay with a very sociable atmosphere!

We are extremely satisfied with our stay at FourRoots! The hosts are giving their best to make this place feel like home. Each morning, Chris made a lovely vegetarian breakfast with fresh fruits and some local products. She was always super nice to chat with and gave some awesome recommendations for things to do around Garda, Verona and other places on our route. The lake, supermarkets, restaurants, parking spaces and anything else you could ask for are reachable within a few minutes by foot. The interior design is chosen with much love to detail and sustainability and there even is a rooftop terrace to end the day on a good note. It is clear to see that the "FourRoots" project is a matter of heart and we'd love to come here again!

Just book the superior suite of the hotel next door, cheaper and better

- false advertising, this turned out to be an old house with other people living in the same building - only one room out of three has a private bathroom but this is not highlighted on the advert - guests are requested to take off their shoes before going inside, saves cleaning - doors are 176years old and hollow, you can hear your neighbors breathe - windows with thin glass and given the old house is on a main road, good luck with that - view from the room is of the hotel next door - owner very rude and will surely reply rudely to this review, same as she does to anyone who doesn’t appreciate her rip off of an accommodation

Amazing private room in a warm homestay

Location to Garda town is superb with a great view of the mountains from their terrace. Chris and Cami are great hosts and make you feel at home! The breakfasts were a combination of homemade jams, home baked breads, homemade olive oil, fruits and yogurt - aka delicious!

Welcome to the other (better) side

Friendly, authentic, sustainable, ecological. We enjoyed our just one night stay to the fullest. Chris is a perfect host with insider tips which makes a difference in visiting the usually touristic Lago di Garda. Enjoy the breakfast talk and the warm welcome which makes it feel like home! The place is exceptional, one feels literally like a part of the family in FourRoots! We were extremely happy to have found Chris’ & Cami’ project that is based on familiar values and vegetarian, eco & sustainable practices. That’s an amazing idea and so much inspiration from every little detail they have inside the FourRoots! That was the most exceptional place I have ever booked on Booking thanks to these lovely people. Totally recommend for those who share such important values and are looking for a neat and super inspiring place in the center of Garda town!

Toller Aufenhalt in Garda!!!

Wir waren die einzigsten Gäste, daher hatten wir die Räumlichkeiten(Küche/Wohnbereich) für uns nutzen können. Das Bett und die Bettwäsche waren- wie bereits von anderen Gästen erwähnt-, super bequem und angenehm!! Der Gastgeberin ging es leider nicht so gut, trotzdem war sie sehr bemüht, es uns Recht zu machen! Wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt und die Einrichtung ist individuell und ganz nach meinem Geschmack! Wir kommen gerne wieder 😊

Snídaně by chutnala, kdybychom ji pravidelně dostali. Hostitel má bohužel zdravotní problémy, snídani jsme měli pouze 3x ze 7. (zatím bez refundace)!!

Vzhledem ke zdravotním problémům hostitele- hospitalizace jsme zůstali v ubytování bezprizorní, nikdo se o nás nestaral.

Bereits vorab wurden wir von Chris kontaktiert, dass unsere Zimmer für uns bereit sind. Neben der ausgesprochen freundlichen und familiären Atmosphäre waren wir auch große Fans der Einrichtung. Chris ist sehr hilfsbereit und gibt gute Tipps für Aktivitäten und gute Lokale in der Nähe. Das Frühstück wird liebevoll zubereitet mit selbst gebackenem Brot, frischem Obst und allem, was das Herz begehrt. Chris legt großen Wert auf Nachhaltigkeit und Regionalität Ein weiterer positiver Pluspunkt: ich habe noch nie auf einem soooo weichen und angenehmen Bettlaken geschlafen!
