Great Stay in Aachen

We enjoyed our stay very much. The arrival was smooth, there is parking next to the apartment. The layout is very convenient, the apartment well furnished and comfortable. The beds are comfy, plenty of towels and bath robes provided. The kitchen is well equipped, tea, coffee and drinks in the fridge. A big living room invites for cozy evenings. The area around the house is generally quiet (even though next to a hospital), and a great starting point for walks. We could nicely walk to the city center in about 25 minutes or the forest (in the opposite direction). There is a supermarket, great snack-bar and an Italian restaurant close by. Communication with the host was excellent, very cordial and friendly, a little problem which we had was quickly solved.

Spacious, so comfortable and beautifully decorated apartment. We were there at Christmas time and it was beautifully decorated. So festive! Loved the comfortable bed and the beautiful garden view. Very quiet and cosy warm.

Everything about the property was perfect for us. We visit Aachen most years and usually spend most of the time away from where we stay, however on this occasion the accommodation was so comfortable we even stayed in one evening. I particularly like the water and beer that was in the fridge!

Beautiful apartment within walking distance of Aachen city centre.

The apartment is impeccable. Large and airy. Lots of windows making it very light inside. The furniture and fittings are a credit to the friendly hosts. The apartment ideally situated withing walking distance from the city centre. If you like Italian food there is a lovely Italian restaurant 100 metres down the street. Takeaway food can also be obtained there.

It is situated within the Aachen Low Emission Zone so UK visitors arriving by car need to be aware of the difficulty of ordering a green pass for the car. Other EU visitors can have it posted in advance but not UK residents.The pass is 14 Euros but the fine for not having one is 80 euros.

An amazing gem in Aachen !

This property is outstanding in every way!!!!! The location and aspect is superb. The apartment is situated in a quiet and safe, leafy suburb with a private drive. Lovely country walks just at the back of the property. A super friendly and very good quality Italian restaurant, three minutes walk along the road. Twenty minutes walk into Aachen city centre, but local shops and a supermarket are five minutes walk. There are three terraces to sit out and at the back of the property the terrace overlooks the hosts beautiful garden. The apartment is designed, decorated and equipped to perfection!. The kitchen is a cook’s paradise and made me extremely happy! Space, light and quiet make this property ideal for a superb stay in a very lovely, historic and friendly city.

A great base for exploring Aachen and the local area.

Very spacious, comfortable and well equipped apartment. In a quiet neighbourhood with nearby shops and restaurants. Only a 20 minute walk into the city centre but also near train station and bus stops.

I would not recomend to visit the flat in winter time, summer time should be fine.

The kitchen was well equiped, everything necessary was available.

We have been there end of November, outside 5 degrees Celsius. The flat was very cold, only one heater in the living room was switched on. The other 5 heater were switched off, it took us 2 days to heat the flat, because the walls were too cold. I asked the landlord to consider to switch on the heating system two days ealier, he told me this is sustainability. For 530 € for a weekend I expect a warm flat.

Wonderful stay in Aachen

The apartment is very well equipped, a lot of attention to detail from very lovely little soaps to well stocked coffee and teas, good shower. Very spacious apartment with several balconies, fully equipped kitchen. A few steps from the apartment there is a restaurant with delicious Italian food.

Fantastyczny apartament. Doskonale wyposażony (np. w kuchni sprzęty firmy Miele). Niezwykła dbałość o detale i dodatki. Część okien wychodzi na ogrody (łącznie tworzą wiele hektarów zieleni). Ten apartament można porównać do restauracji z gwiazdkami Michelin - warto tu przyjechać z drugiego końca świata nie zwracając uwagi w jakim otoczeniu się znajduje (ale uwaga: samo miasto Akwizgran/ Aachen jest obowiązkowym punktem na mapie turysty kochającego historię).

Stress Frei

Die Wohnung lasst keine wünsche offen. Die Lage war super 10 min von Stadtmitte, und 15 Auto min von Chio Geländer. Der Gastgeber hat an alles gedacht und ein Flasche Wein und Zwei Bier im Kühlschrank gestellt. Ein sehr nett Geste. Alle Anweisung und hinweise war klar und deutlich geschrieben und einfach zu finden. Einfach eine Tolle Erlebnis.

Comfortabele plek om te verblijven tijdens een bezoek aan Aachen

Wat een heerlijk appartement. Zoveel ruimte en van alle gemakken voorzien. Heerlijk schoon ook. Het centrum van Aken is goed te bereiken met de bus of lopend. In de buurt zijn mooie parken om te wandelen.

Als ik dan toch iets moet noemen dan zou het leuk zijn als er een apparaat zou zijn waar je muziek op kunt afspelen.

Ein schöner Kurzurlaub

Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und erfüllte alle Erwartungen. Betten sehr bequem und die vielen Balkone waren einfach genial. Würden die Wohnung wieder buchen und unseren Freunden empfehlen.

Es war uns in der Wohnung zu kalt, die Heizkörper im Wohnzimmer wurden nicht warm.

Ich habe schon einige Ferienwohnungen gesehen, doch diese gehört zu den besten! Großzügig geschnitten, hell, geschmackvoll eingerichtet mit viel Liebe fürs Detail. Sehr aufmerksame Gastgeber. Optimale Lage in einem ruhigen Wohngebiet, aber mit nahegelegenen Bushaltestellen zur Fahrt in die Stadt, Bahnhof etc. Die Innenstadt ist auch gut und unkompliziert zu Fuß erreichbar. Fazit: absolut empfehlenswert
