Spacious apartment, very well equipped. Free parking available across the street.

We requested the entry code to be sent to us the previous day, or atleast early in the morning of check-in; since we didn't have wi-fi access while on the road. They refused and sent it only at 1:30pm. We were driving in the champagne region and arrived there; went to the nearby Ibis hotel to access their free wi-fi, to get the entry codes and instructions. It is up 2 steep, narrow flights of stairs. Quite a musty passageway as well. The apartment was also musty, since the main window was boarded. There was a good blower fan, which helped in the ventilation of the apartment. The beds are up a steep ladder in the attic.

There was toilet paper.

The apartment is small and cramped, hot and stuffy, facing a street with a lot of noise from traffic and very cheaply furnished. The sofa is small and uncomfortable to sit on. I feel sorry for someone who would have to sleep on it. BE CAREFUL there is a small step by the door that is hard to see and you can trip on it and break your ankle. This problem could be solved with a piece of reflective tape, but the owner would need to care about your safety for that to happen. BE WARNED the stairs up to the loft are very steep and quite dangerous. If you should trip there, you will literally break your legs and neck. There is a red notebook, that is completely in French so I took it to the tourist information office to have them translate. Unlike David, they are very nice and quite helpful there. In this book, he tells you to call if you have any questions. Since we could not find the wifi code the lady called him to ask, and he hung up on her Yes, you read that right. After telling you to call him if you have a question, he hung up on the woman. Not a real bright move because they all know him there and part of their job is to recommend places to stay. She was so upset by his rudeness and disrespect that she told everyone there to stop recommending his apartments. The biggest problem was that I explained repeatedly to David that my phone does not work in France that I would not have wifi to get the code to enter after I left my hotel in Paris. I begged him repeatedly for the code a head of time and he completely ignored me. Messages after message for 2 days. So after I arrive I had to spend over 2 hours walking around trying to find wifi so that I could get the code I am in my 60's, had all of my luggage with me and it was the hottest part of a day that was 85 degrees. Finally a hotel felt sorry for me and let me use their wifi, although they were not happy about it. All because HE DOES NOT CARE about you.

Location was good for getting access to the centre of town. A good shower and the property was clean but simple so perfect for the price I paid.

Access was up a number of narrow (and dark) staircases, which wasn’t specified, and I couldn’t initially find the light switch (!) so carrying many cases up was a bit of a pain. The ladder-stairs to the bedroom was also very steep and narrow so might not suit everyone especially if a bit unsteady on their feet. I just took my time. Not the end of the world but would have been helpful to know! The coffee machine didn’t work and looked like it was leaking.

The room does not look like the picture on the website. Very old and had bad smell. The bedding is not clean at all and my kids even developed rash after the stay. There is lots noise from outside street and the inside broken fan!!! I would not recommend this to anybody at all.

Very dirty, not a safe area but ok location as close to town. they said they have parking but parking is on the street that locals do not park on, presumably because they get broken in to. parking is also paid for. when a property said they have parking I would assume it’s a private space, not on the street.

Great location and very cheap! parking very close. top floor with narrow stair case so don’t take up lots of luggage!

sofa bed bends in the middle so very uncomfortable! Much better for two people than 3 to 4.

The entire property is not of a quality one expects to find on Booking. Unventilated 3rd floor sleeping area. Very hot. Entire property very run down. Super noisy at night. V. cheap furnishings. Low quality across the board. V. old wood building. No fire escape.Dangerously steep stairs to 3rd floor.

Excellent flat! Few steps from historical city center, huge free parking right in front of the building, charming flat with everything necessary. Clean. Good communication, easy access (box with key on the entrance). Great value for money! Would definitely recommend!

Excellent location, generous kitchen supplies, generous and clean linen, efficient room heaters.

Difficult access to loft bedroom, inconvenient difference in elevations in the living room. A bit of unsanitary smell in the toilet.

This is a nice little apartment with all the amenities you would need. Spotlessly clean, helpful guide to help you find your way around the city and the apartment. There is plenty of parking in the parking lot opposite, very handy! Convenient to get to town and plenty of shops and other services around.

We have two small children (7 and 3) and for us, this apartment was not ideal. The stairs going up to the third floor are very old and steep and have been worn away in places, making it quite difficult to get up and down safely. Also the staircase up to the mezzanine bedroom are VERY steep which meant it was not suitable for kids who need toileting and or parental attention in the night, etc. I think this is a lovely place for adults to stay but not so much for children.

Perfect location right next to the old center! 10-15min walk away from central train/ bus station. We had everything needed for cooking. We love to travel and cook ourselves. Lovely set of dishes, really nice and inspiring interior design. Comfortable wide bed with warm covers. Also wide shower and all the necessary essentials. Really enjoyed our stay there! I recommend this place! A little note: The stairs to the mezzanine (bedroom) are pretty steep. For us everything was all fine, caused no problems, but maybe it helps for others to know this fact.

L’appartement n'est pas entretenu. Un pommeau de douche suis fuit, pas de rideaux aux fenêtres pour l’intimitexsans la sallon, une télévision qui ne marche pas, vu le faible signal. Des propriétaires sui necrrpondfnt jamais aux sollicitations. Appartement très décevant.n

An sich ist die Wohnung klein und süß und ist genau das richtige für ein oder mehrere Tage um Troyes kennenzulernen.

Die Sauberkeit lässt sehr zu wünschen übrig. Die Bettwäsche war nicht gewaschen, im Leintuch fanden wir einen blutigen Fleck der Vorgänger und andere Spuren. Die Handtücher Rochen nach altem Keller und das Geschirr war nicht sauber. Weder die Schränke noch der Kühlschrank waren geputzt.

Die Wohnung hat gestunken. Es war alte verschmutzte bettwäsche auf dem Bett, für das Sofa gab es gar keine Bettwäsche, obwohl wir für 4 Personen gebucht haben, kühlschrank, Herd und spüle waren mit Essensresten verunreinigt, der Boden weder gesaugt noch gewischt- wir sind nicht geblieben sondern haben eine andere Unterkunft gebucht. Der Vermieter hat leider nicht reagiert auf anrufe und Mails/ WhatsApp obwohl wir auch Fotos geschickt haben. Unakzeptabel- ich würde booking davon abraten die Wohnung weiter zu vermitteln.

Nous sommes très déçus et perplexes quant à la propreté de l'appartement. A notre arrivée nous avons trouvé des détritus au sol, en témoignent les photos et ÉNORMÉMENT de poussière. Voyageant avec une petite fille de 3 ans je trouve cela inacceptable. Je demande donc à être remboursée des frais de nettoyage car ces derniers sont tout bonnement inexistants. De plus, nous n'avons pas pris de douche, de peur de sortir encore plus sales que ce que nous étions.

Le prix et la proximité du centre de Troyes, que l'on peut rejoindre à pied, sont les seuls points positifs de l'établissement. On peut aussi souligner que la literie du lit à l'étage était assez confortable.

- J'ai du demander, via la messagerie Booking, que l'on m'envoie enfin le code de la boite à clé avant mon arrivée pour pouvoir entrer dans le logement... Sinon, je l'attendrais probablement toujours. Pas de proactivité de la part du propriétaire. - L'odeur dans le logement... Sans commentaire. - La propreté assez "relative" du logement. Pourtant, nous ne sommes pas difficile et, vu le prix, on ne s'attendait pas à un 4 étoiles, mais tout de même. - Pommeau de douche défectueux, signalé au propriétaire, qui ne s'est même pas donné la peine de me répondre. - Les serviettes mises à notre disposition devaient croupir dans une cave ou un grenier depuis plusieurs mois. Donner une note de 4/10 à cet établissement est plutôt généreux à mon sens.

Il y a un manque d hygiène, matelas taché ainsi que la literie, une couche de poussière sur le ventilateur, l intérieur des placard sale ….il y a une télévision mais pas de chaîne TV. Le matériel de cuisine est très usé et tout semble gras .

Le logement n était pas propre, voir sale, congélateur du frigo très sale, aspirateur déposé dans le meuble sous l évier avec pleins de saleté, latte du lit canapé cassées, beaucoup de poussière et sols pas propres.

Appartement au 2ème étage et donnant sur une rue bruyante. Escalier de l'immeuble vétuste avec 4 marches complètement  délabrées. Sols poussiéreux et débris de chips près du canapé. Vaisselle et éponge de l'évier graisseuses. Portes et intérieurs des placards très sales. Congélateur avec vieilles  salissures. Balai swiffer plein de cheveux et de poussières. Ventilateur de la chambre couvert de poussières même la grille. Matelas,  draps et housse de couette très tâchés. BZ déboité avec 4 lattes retrouvées dessous lors de l'ouverture. Interrupteur près de l'escalier sort du mur. Impossible de faire fonctionner la télévision. Accès à la mezzanine (appelée chambre par l'annonce) par échelle de meunier très raide. Forte odeur de moisissures dans la salle de bain.
