Okay for 1 night stop over

Central location in historic town centre. Free street parking, although it took us a couple of loops to find a spot. Good communication and instructions (in French). Good value.

Unfortunately the mattresses were very uncomfortable and I would suggest need replacing. Upstairs is a double and a single bed and downstairs you have the sofa bed. Also be mindful that the apartment is up a set of narrow creaky stairs, which was a bit tricky with heavy luggage.

Excellent location. Cheap. Informative host. Other than shower, facilities were reasonable.

All very minor: Shower was a bit broken so had to hold the nozzle. Parking on the street was very busy and it took a while to get a space at all - eventually very lucky to get one close. Steep steps. Pigeons on roof are quite loud.

Location to center of town. Upstairs area clean and tidy with great views of the cathedral and town. The host was friendly and gave clear instructions.

Smell of the apartment. Drains smelt bad. A layer of cooking oil covered everything. The hob seemed not to work. Sofa bed was not comfortable. Needs a proper clean downstairs. Including the stairs and hallway outside. Not much parking in surrounding area in evening. Does bleach exist in france??

We had a great stay at APPART Centre HISTORIQUE CHEZ RENÉ. The apartment was perfect for our group of four and could fit five people comfortably. The location is amazing—right in the center of Troyes, so we could easily walk everywhere. The apartment itself is very cozy, with lots of nice details that make it feel welcoming. Everything was clean and well taken care of. Check-in and check-out were super easy with clear instructions. Overall, it’s a great place to stay in Troyes. We would definitely recommend it!

Everything you need for a short stay in Troyes.

Everything we needed for a one night stay while visiting Troyes. Clean with comfortable beds and all the facilities we needed. Loved the extra touches such as usb chargers. Communication with host about how to access the apartment were very clear from the beginning. Parking was easy enough right outside and was free. A very quiet street and only a short walk to bars, cafes, restaurants and places of interest. Even the stairs up to the apartment didn’t bother us. Excellent value for money!

Easy and free parking and good location for town Centre Beautiful view out of the upstairs windows. The place was very clean

We were met by a loud barking dog on arrival which frightened our children. The apartment was very hot which made it uncomfortable to sleep at night, a small fan was provided but this did not make much difference. A small air con unit would make all the difference.

Pleasant

Great location, very handy for exploring Troyes, clean apartment. It's great for 1 night and as long as you do not have any mobility issues on stairs. Apartment itself is compact & stylish.

Access to the apartment, there is a broken hand rail up very steep stairs into apartment, then to sleeping area there are more very steep open stairs. It was quite warm when we stayed and the fan provided is extremely noisy so a good night's sleep did not happen. Also there were sewaragey smells coming from sinks & shower when used.

We loved being right in the center of such a lovely town. The apartment was perfect for us and provided everything we needed (except WiFi). Self check in was easy and we managed street parking ok but it was the weekend so more flexible times. Recommend apartment.

No access to WiFi is annoying when travelling from overseas but we managed.

The location is superb and the flat was spotlessly clean and very cosy. Amazing value for money. Troyes is a lovely City and we would definitely stay there again.

It didn't make a difference to us but if you had very small children you would need to be aware that the stairs in to the apartment and in the apartment are very steep.

The only concern we had is that the only fire alarm did not have batteries in it. Considering the flat is in an old building with a lot of wood beams and is located at the top of several flight of stairs, we felt it would be very unsafe if a fire broke out.

lived this quirky comfy apartment. clean with all mod cons. lovely views. comfy beds.

stairs to door and inside rickety and perilous. wouldn’t pass any safety inspection. ok if short ,fit, no alcohol and don’t need to get up at night and go down and pee. Accident waiting to happen. we’re tall so stooped to bed and dress. Wifi patchy, unable to stream. Don’t agree its the payees job to clear rubbish to front door as required more runs down overtly dangerous stairs.

Quirky brillance

This is one of the most extraordinary and special places I have ever stayed in: quirky - in the heart of an amazingly historic city and I would stay here a week.. Parking COULD have been a problem but there was a secure bike park 100m away but if I'd been travelling by car?? Super bed with silky sheets and the coffee machine was a real bonus.... would/will stay again.

I didn't not like this but was perturbed when I arrives at the entrance corridor and the steps and Ince in the flat the steps up to the beautiful bedroom were/are a little precarious so I wouldn't recommend the property for those with mobility problems or those who like a drink too far and have to get up in the middle of the night...neither of this descriptions applies to me so all good!!! Once you got to the flat it was a hugely lovely surprise

Great little apartment in a beautiful town. Perfect for a stopover on way back from Northern Italy but the region was also lovely and I'd happily return. Had everything we needed.

It was a very hot day and the upstairs bit was difficult to sleep in even with fans, due to the heat.

A DISTRESSING AND EXPENSIVE WASTE OF TIME.

we couldn’t get in!

DO NOT STAY HERE! we were not left a working key code for the property, and were left to find a hotel for ourselves late at night, with three tired children. They were UNCONTACTABLE at the time and since. Booking.com have been just as unhelpful. Please use Airbnb or alternative.
