Beautiful

Much more beautiful than I imagined! The location is great, with lovely restaurants nearby, and easy access to the harbour. The room has a mini-fridge, air conditioning, and the bathroom is large and clean. The pool is clean. The guy who welcomed us is very friendly. He gives you breakfast options, prepares it, and brings it to you. I recommend it!

The bungalows are astethic and the owner is really nice. We were almost alone so that was a plus

Megaland is the place to be in Nusa penida .

The hosts were very warm, welcoming and helpful when it came to finding your way around to getting scooters and boat booking out of the island The price is fair enough for the island and the property location quite central to most things. I recommend getting a scooter for easy traveling

My short stay, wish I could stay longer

I would not recommend this accommodation

We were a group of 6 people and had 3 bungalows. No breakfast or restaurant nearby, so we had to hire scooters. Some difficulties to get toilet paper, recurrent electricity and water cuts. Problem of clime in bungalow 5 as there was no insulation. The accommodation must have been very nice at the time. Lots of cockroaches and geckos. The swimming pool is murky. Expect to be woken every morning by lots of roosters and hens. Only one of the staff was very nice (the mother of the two small children).

A great surprise!

Beautiful location, well maintained garden and facilities. The cottages are clean and spacious. We loved the pool it was clean and great to cool off and relax. Overall experience beyond our expectations!

Some dead small roaches in the shower area, and no daily cleaning unless asked. The location is very isolated from different restaurants, so make sure to hire a scooter or driver.

Superb

The owners are very friendly, they helped us by booking transport back to the harbour and you can easily rent scooters from them. The rooms are nice and clean, breakfast is simple, but good. Really loved to stay here!

Good stay

The bungalows are pretty simple and cozy, I slept very well and did not have any problems with insects. It's quite a peaceful area. The owners are very nice and helped me arrange a day trip, which was amazing! Breakfast is simple.

I stayed in Hut 5, facing the pool. If you need internet, this bungalow is not the best, there's very low Wifi signal or data signal. The location on the island is very remote, so if you do not drive a scooter I do not recomend this area, better on the West side or close to harbour. There is only 1 restaurant in walking distance and 1 warung, so food options are very limited.

Super friendly staff, comfortable stay

Super comfortable beds, very clean and great breakfast every morning. The staff were extremely helpful with everything we needed. Booked taxis, trips and organised a scooter for us. Can’t recommend this place enough!

The swimming pool was abit cloudy although we didn’t have time to use it.

Mega value stay!

Lovely gem! Super great value. Very comfortable stay and great staff. Breakfast had nice variety and was always delicious. Great with a bike, there is also walking distance resturants. Perfect if you want a getaway! Basically a private pool as only saw one couple one day. Beach is super close, quite shallow by the shore but if you can get out there is fantastic coral and untouched sealife!

The Hammocks were not there but do not mind in the slightest.

Loved our stay here!! The family that own it are great & the lovely women organised lots for us, the comfy beds & spacious rooms, the swimming pool & loungers. We were sad to leave!

Nothing!! (but we’d say you do need a bike or taxis to get places as everything is spread out in Nusa Penida, not a reflection on Megaland at all)

Very good

First of all, if this review was about the staff only, Mega Land Bungalow would get a 10/10. Incredibly kind and helpful, they helped us with everything we needed, including offering to make breakfast extra early for us on the last day. Rooms are cleaned everyday, which is nice. I've read reviews of people complaining about bugs. Bro, you're in a rural area, in a wooden cabin, expect the odd bug and Gecko coming in through the joints.

The pool was unusable for the first two days. When we arrived they put a whole lot of chlorine and told us to wait iluntil tomorrow. After that the water remained murky and unappealing throughout our stay, basically preventing us from using it.

The staff really welcoming, easy walking distance to the near beach club Cactus.

The breakfast very poor . No jam , no butter no fruits plate . Just plain bread with honey nd coffee or basic omellet.

The place was pretty and quite nice! All the staffs were friendly and kind of us. The breakfast was very nice! The location wasn’t that far from the port. We wanted a driver for a day trip in Nusa Penida, and they arranged the driver and he was a descent person and the price was reasonable as well. We really enjoyed our stay at Megaland.

The power in our room was knocked out and sometimes insects came out in a bathroom but quite alright.

This property is run by a super lovely family who were so kind and always made sure we were looked after. i hope that tourism kicks up in Bali and people are lucky enough to be hosted by this beautiful family. location is great- especially if you are riding a bike, because it is only 30min away from all Nusa penida treasures. Super affordable and close to great restaurants and warungs.

Friendly and home run property

The property is managed by a really nice family. They arranged motorcycle for us and a taxi to the harbor.

They can run out of electricity during the day so the room can be very hot, but during the night the ac worked without problems, you don’t get soap so bring your own. The swimming pool was cleaned the last day of our stay. For breakfast we got fried rice with egg and ice tea.

The best staff ever. They were on call any time, the driver was a sweetheart! The guest manager Sibuk was amazing and really sorted us out. 10/10 staff service! Really lovely people nice clean place and nice shower room. This was the highlight of my trip to Bali! The location was good theres a lovely beach bar about 15 mins bike called singabu beach bar and grill which was lush with cheap lovely food a nice free pool over looking the sea. Super chilled!

Le personnel était amical, réactif et serviable. Ils proposaient plusieurs services (location de scooter, laverie, taxi, réservation de ticket de bateau) au meilleur prix et nous faisaient également part de leur recommandation aux alentours.

Un scooter est nécessaire pour se déplacer dans l’île, y compris pour aller manger ou les petites courses Cela ne nous a pas posé de problème mais à prendre en compte si vous n’êtes pas à l’aise avec

Acht Nächte verbracht, sehr guter Aufenthalt

Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, gute Vermittlung von Taxi und Schnellboot. Schön eingerichtete Anlage.. Kostenlose Ausgabe von Wasser an der Rezeption. Cactus Club ist 2 min zu Fuß und bietet tolle Atmosphäre und leckeres Essen. Wir durften die Küche mitbenutzen, das war für uns sehr hilfreich. Haben dort ein paar mal Crepes für die Knder gemacht. Sonst gibt es in jedem Bungalow noch einen Wasserkocher.

In den Bungalows ließ es sich gut aushalten aber Sauberkeit könnte eine höhere Punktzahl erreichen. Unter dem Bett war noch Verpackungsmüll von Vorgängern und der Küche haben wir einen neuen Spülschwamm spendiert, der alte fiel auseinander.

Accomodatie voldoet niet aan de verwachtingen/beschrijving

Kan met wat aandacht echt iets moois worden. Je kan via de eigenaar een scooter huren.

Restaurant/ontbijt plek die wordt aangegeven bestaat niet meer. Zwembad is vies, je ziet er een soort olie laagje op liggen en is erg troebel. Verder zijn alle handzeep flesjes en toilet papier etc leeg. Plek is opzich mooi maar komt simpelweg niet overeen met de beschrijving en dus de verwachtingen die men heeft.
