Nice accomodation but is hidden

The rooms are nice, but it's difficult to get to the hotel even by motorcycle, so if you have more than one piece of luggage, you will have trouble

Loved the ambience and that it was on a hill, short cut into town, was hands down my best accom out of my trip out of north Bali Lombok and Gilles, helpful staff, more than accommodating, for bringing me water a gallon of water, & organising my transport to and from accom. room had all and more, for me it was perfect. Oh and room was cleaned everyday not had that in all my trip. I would book here again was so lovely.

Nothing, however if you have a prob with a short hike up a hill or access on a bumpy road on scooter….for me all part of the adventure. To get a place that is paradise.

Great room, difficult location.

The room was stunning, beds were amazingly comfortable, and the additional amenities and water were appreciated. Good bathroom (though no hot water for showers). Being set back from the main touristy areas provided the stay with a serene and calm feel, as you looked out onto a beautiful garden.

While I loved the accommodation, I would not stay here again due to the location. The accommodation is up very steep and damaged roads, so that you have little choice but to walk or pay exorbitant taxi fees. You'd be better off somewhere closer to the main street I think. Also there was no wi-fi available and no hot water for showers - it would have been preferable to know this in advance.

Magical experience, best hospitality with all needs catered for. Host went above and beyond to ensure our comfort.

Stunning property on beautiful well maintained grounds. The wooden rooms were very homely and comfortable. Our host was extremely kind and generous with his words, energy and hospitality. I would highly recommend. We travelled as a group of three so stayed between two of the cabins. It was a magic experience and the service was flawless. Thanks you so much!

Value for money

Super cozy room. Nice and clean outdoor bathroom. Friendly owner. Delicious banana pancakes and coffee for breakfast.

Wifi was completely down for the whole stay which was a big minus for us. No warm water in the shower.

Remote but hearty

It’s very remote, very quiet, really nice room with huge comfy bed and nice clean bathroom. There’s a little fridge and a water boiler and instant coffee, and free water. I could use a motor scooter for an ok price (although not included in the room, which I thought was the case). Super friendly guy who took care of me and did the pick up/ drop of for free when I arrived/ left. All I all a ice place!

The garden looks like it had seen better times. Very messy and broken things lie around. And the road that leads to the place is very bad. Every time going up there by scooter I sent a little prayer that it’ll go fine. Hope they’ll renew the road soon.

Ontzettend mooi en rustig

We hadden prachtige huisjes, heel rustig gelegen en mooi ingericht met een mooie badkamer. Gastheer Bawa haalde ons op bij de haven en regelde taxi's voor ons. Bij aankomst werden we verwelkomd met een verfrissende kokosnoot en iedere dag stonden en flesjes water voor de deur.

De hoofdweg met restaurants en supermarktjes was heel dichtbij, maar de weg is behoorlijk lastig en stijl, dus zwaar en niet geschikt voor minder validen.
