Do not stay here!

Do not go here! The staff is really unpleasant. One of them when he was heating out food, started eating from our plate with his hands! When I went to check, he saved a plate for him of the food for later. Really disappointed and you can’t trust.

We didn’t have any hot water during our stay. One day there was no water. When they were going to drop us off, he left the motorbike fall in my hand, not even worried and no apologies. Lots of roosters that don’t stop making sound even at night time. Came inside our room without our knowledge!

This hotel is family run. Ketut is the warmest host and looks after his guests as well as he would if they were family. Like every hotel should imo, but super rare to find. This is our second time here and we loved it. We popped our head into a massive glamping complex next door with a bar with banging tracks and expensive drinks, and could not get back to the peace and earthiness of Blue Lagoon Secret Villa fast enough. Highly recommended, especially if you value simplicity, peace, and quiet. Rooms are beautiful and the site is immaculately kept.

Quiet garden close to Mahana View Point

Quiet garden and cozy clean room and very reasonable price. Note the Sea View room is actually a mere partial sea view and located above a minimarket just above the road. Although not alot of traffic... I find it nicer to be within the quiet garden. Best area of Nusa Ceningan- short walk to Blue Lagoon and Mahana Point with beautiful view and dining options. Hopefully Mahana Point will not become all built on in future. Secret Beach is a lovely cove.. can swim a bit when conditions permit- beware of currents.. ideal for surfers. From Bali, best take the Rocky Fast Boat which takes you to their own harbour on Nusa Lembongan with pier..so can get off boat easy and dry and close to Yellow Bridge. The guesthouse can arrange motorbike pick up from the bridge.

Some confusion with the staff booking snorkel trip. After booking day before... next morning before departure time, was told boat not going as there are no tourists. A bit odd as they could have known night before there were no other people booked on their boat and could have perhaps recommended another boat as lots of boats were indeed going. When ask about private trip option, they could not give any info. Many places say for private option need to book entire 3-stop snorkel tour which can be expensive for one person if just wish to hire a boat to one site. Down the road found Dafish Guesthouse with Captain Sentana... he is a great guy and can arrange private trips according to where you like to go. So went out next day. Good to have had an extra night. If someone were to just have the one full day and missed out on snorkel activity.. would have been disappointing. Note as some reviews talk about snorkeling off Blue Lagoon.. not true as currents too rough for swimming. You need to get boat to the sites off Nusa Penida. Secret Blue Lagoon Villas has alot of potential. Staff are nice guys.. but could use a little motivation. Directly opposite is entry to the new Suku Beach Club. It's a beautiful place... just wish they would not blast music throughout the day which can be thumping noise heard all along beautiful Secret Beach. Walk out to Mahana Point for quiet view and sounds of nature.

Amazing value for money

Beautiful property in a prime location for someone that doesn’t drive a bike, less than a 5 minute walk to some of the most stunning spots I have seen on the Nusa islands. My bed was the comfiest I’ve stayed in so far, I could have slept for days! Very safe for a female solo traveller. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

Comfortable and clean, only a few villas, perfect for a few friends travelling together

Very comfortable beds, lovely small garden, and the salt water pool was lovely, small but deep.

It was noisy at night with dogs and roosters, to be expected but very close proximity to the huts.

Our cabin was clean and comfortable. The bed and sheets were cozy. Breakfast was plentiful. Staff were welcoming and accommodating. They checked on us a few times a day answering all our questions.

Behind the hotel property is a private sector with dogs and roosters which made noise during a couple of nights.

Central spot for your stay in Nusa Ceningan

The staff members are Blue Lagoon were really helpful. Breakfast was included. The place had a pool (we didn't try it). Note that we stayed in the ocean view villa which is right above the convenience store. Wifi was sometimes spotty but overall good enough. I'd recommend this place if you visit Nusa Ceningan.

Very nice stay

We had an apartment in the first floor that was a small block beside the main complex. From the bed and the terrace, we had a magnificent ocean view. The apartment was very clean, also the bathroom, and we had a fridge and a water boiler. AC was running smoothly. The owner is extremely kind and helpful. The breakfast is good. There is a beach 3min walk, which has a stunning scenery. People were surfing there, and I think you could also swim/snorchel a little in there.

The room was so comfortable,, beautiful view...we had the room above the supermarket. Nice size swimming pool which was refreshingly cool and comfortable chairs. Pretty gardens. Amazing staff, it's a family run business,,nothing, absolutely nothing was too much trouble.

Loved everything,,just a tip if your coming,,bring ear plugs because as in everywhere in Asia that's a little off the beaten track the dogs can be noisy at night.

Beautiful garden setting. Peaceful, but also well located. Staff were delightful and fulfilled all my requests, booking activities and transporting me, when needed. The pool area was a lovely place to relax at any time of day. Restaurant meals were very tasty .

Great locally owned place to stay off the beaten track

Blue Lagoon Secret Villas is owned and run by a local family. They were all very friendly and genuine. Nothing was too much trouble. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The food in the restaurant was also excellent and reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

Everything was good, thank you for the great hospitality.

All the staffs were very helpful, they will come to pick u up to harbour for free from Yellow Bridge. The breakfast was also great!! And they have mart right beside the villa so u can buy ur snack and drinks there. The room was okay, I wish they have brighter light because the nighttime it can be quite scary, but nothing happened so overall everything was good. Will come again.

The picture hanging at the wall was a bit scary. Also they provide wifi only at the cafeteria. Sometimes the room has no internet connection.

We enjoyed our stay in many ways.

A nice and cozy place with a wonderful, super-friendly staff. There really took care about everything (bookings, scooter rental, laundry service, transportation…) We had a medical emergency and they also organized the doctors visit. Thank you again, Ketut and team. We are really glad how everything went. The pool area is also really nice and it‘s just a 5min walk to the wonderful Secret Point Beach. The restaurant has a relatively small choice, but food was excellent for more than fair prices and there’s is a small supermarket next door where you can get most of the stuff you need. Overall absolutely worth a visit.

The bathrooms are outside, therefore the overall condition is not the best, but clean and overall still okay.

perfect little getaway

We would definitely come back! very nice staff, very welcoming and supportive, free pick up and drop off from yellow bridge, cute rooms with comfortable bed and outdoor bathroom, right at the blue lagoon and beach (if low tide), nice refreshing pool, tasty food

hardly had hot water when showering but that really isn’t needed with the hot weather, be prepared that you will need a motorbike to get around which you can rent at the accommodation as well

Superb

Lovely place with nice and comfortable huts featuring terrace and outdoor bathroom. Great pool with long chairs, the most accommodating and helpful guys at the reception where you can arrange everything you need from snorkelling trips to book boats.

Some people wrote there is a beach nearby and there is: beautiful Secret point beach but due to rocks and heavy waves it’s not for swimming it’s for surfers. Still great for sunbathing.

Tropical oasis on a quiet and beautiful island

Secret Villas is a gem tucked away in the island of Ceningan .The villas have hugely comfortable beds and ice cold air conditioning The ensuite has the bonus of being open roofed and allows a wonderful view of the stars of a nighttime The villas are a short 5 minute walk from some of the most spectacular scenery on the island. Ketut and his staff are attentive and offer you seamless opportunities to sightsee or can arrange travel from your hotel to the villas . I highly recommend these villas and would definitely stay on my return

The staff were very accommodating, I accidentally booked the wrong dates but reached out to them and they made sure a room was available for the dates I needed. Free scooter transport from our hotel in Lembongan. Great location and walking distance to secret point beach. 10/10!

The room itself was beautiful and the staff clearly kept the grounds clean. The pool was a nice addition to our stay (albeit a little deep for short people) The staff were so friendly and helpful picking us up and dropping us off for our ferry for free (we tipped them Ofcourse). Food at the restaurant was really nice.

I know not much can be done about the local dogs (and we love dogs) but the constant barking throughout the night was slightly annoying. The breakfast pancakes weren’t great to be honest, but the scrambled egg was fab.

Perfect Location close to a beautiful beach. Tasty Dinner - would definitely recommend the Avocado Toast! The team even picked us up at the yellow bridge and took us to the next hotel. Thanks again!

Bathroom could be a bit cleaner and a shelf would have been great. It often smelled of smoke because the rubbish was being burnt. However, this is common on the island.

Villa was perfect, staff is well trained, professional and willing to help with everything. Ask them to help you organise a trip to Nusa Penida, snorkeling etc for a reasonable price. Everything is clean, garden is perfect, swimming pool as well. Tasty meals all day long from local to pasta.
