The cottage is beautiful and well-appointed. It's easy to find and the big picture window looking over the loch is outstanding. The host greeted me on arrival and then just left me alone which was exactly what I wanted! They also left some lovely snacks and a handwritten card welcoming me.
Hard to pick any negatives really. The only nitpicks I can think of are.. the vent in the kitchen is quite loud, maybe a shelf in the bathroom would be useful? But really it's just lovely.

Excellent location as a base to travel around the Isle of Skye. The cottage was very clean and cosy. We felt spoilt with the fruit bread and snacks that were provided. Overall an amazing stay!

Beautiful location. Clean accommodations. Host was very responsive and left snacks and morning breakfast as well as coffee. This was much appreciated.
Wish the bathroom warming rack was functional as we had very wet clothes and had trouble drying them. They stayed wet for days.

The orange juice and milk were most welcome and the landlord kindly provided us with more milk when we asked for it in the morning. The binoculars are also a nice touch.
When we arrived, we found the unit door wide open and the room full of flies. There was a strong drain smell - which might explain why the door had been left open. A breakfast hamper had been left for us in the kitchen but by the following morning, both the bread and pains au chocolat (which were in a cellophane bag) were dry. The duvet was very thin and the bed linen tired. It would have been nice to have a bedside light, to avoid having to get out of bed to turn the lights off at the wall and stumble back to bed in the dark. It would also be useful to have a blind or curtain in the bathroom for privacy and one at the door to stop the flickering tree fairy lights interrupting sleep throughout the night. It was also a surprise to be asked to empty our bins prior to our departure.
