Beautiful location quiet in the winter and room is nicely heated. With a beautiful view over the harbour
Cups provided were on the small size (tea cups). The sign in the shower room explaining the shower controls is wrong & someone doesn't know their port (left) from their starboard (right)🤣

Beautiful location right on the water, clean space and comfortable beds.
It was not clearly advertised that from the street the front door to the building leads directly to your room with no foyer or hallway so the room feels a bit “exposed”.

Prime location along water. Easy check in. Comfortable beds. Loved the water pressure in the shower.
A small table for dining would have been good. A small fringe also would have been useful. However, it was very affordable.

Restrictive arrival (From 4pm) & early check out time limit (10 am).

Window with sea view
Only one chair for a double room. The chest of drawers is not necessary.

The location was great and the room was well thought out.
No continuous heating and the electric heater installed was of poor quality and it needed a boost every 2 hrs manually. It was freezing cold 0° outside and the room was quickly getting cold. Had a disturbed sleep.

I had a fantastic two-day stay at Pink House Skye and absolutely loved the coastal atmosphere. Everything was wonderful, but what stood out most was the view over the harbour with all its sounds, movement, and even the sea air and aromas. It truly made the stay special and memorable.
The room was beautifully equipped, very cozy, and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. You can really feel the care and attention to detail.
The staff were outstanding. When the main entrance door was accidentally locked from the inside by other guests and we couldn’t get in, a staff member arrived within just a couple of minutes. Our fish and chips hadn’t even had time to cool down!
I will happily recommend Pink House Skye to friends and would love to return myself.

The check-in was easy, the room was spacious and the view was lovely.
We struggled to have a consistently hot shower - the water cooled after one shower.

The room had everything one would need: a comfortable bed, a nice heating solution, a wardrobe, a detachable hairdryer. Even though there were no nearby wall plugs to charge the phone, the size of the rom (being fairly contained) made that not a problem.
The bathroom was very modern and the soaps provided were amazing!
Also the complimentary drinks were great as there was a vast assortment of coffees, tea (both available caffeinated and decaf) and even hot chocolate!
I didn't like too much the fact that the entrance to the property was always open, yes the rooms were lockable but the main property itself wasn't. Mind you it probably speaks volumes of the lack of crime!
Another thing that I think could be improved is the breakfast arrangement. When I arrived to the room, there was a binder with all the relevant information for the room, emergency services, etc and also information about breakfast. This said something along the lines that the nearby hotel (The Rosedale Hotel) offered breakfast for ÂŁ15pp from 7:30am. It did ask to send an email to the pink house info email address or to call them, however as my personal email address is different from the one I made the reservation for, I sent a message through the booking.com app. I had no response but I still tried my luck. At 7:35am there was no one at the reception and the restaurant was closed.
Now, this could be because it's winter, there's less people so not all places will remain open all the time, it could be because I didn't give enough notice either. So what I'd recommend is to make sure you make arrangements beforehand, especially if you're tied to a tour since most coffee places also don't open before 8am (in that case, you should try Birch Coffee!)

It was very satisfying staying here, the room was more than perfect, it has total feeling of a hotel. The location is great, i had the chance to stay in a room with view to the port 👌 the room was clean and well prepared to take a proper rest.

Great location in Portree, we got a great deal and it was a lovely room, spacious and clean, the bathroom and shower were great. I would definitely stay again
The front door didn’t lock so we did have to make sure our door was locked at all times. It wasn’t busy when we went but I’d feel a bit more concerned if it was busier. Also the hairdryer didn’t work

We stayed here for two nights and really enjoyed our stay. The room was very spacious and equipped with all the basic amenities. It was located on the ground floor and offered a beautiful view of the harbour. The location was excellent, with plenty of supermarkets and restaurants nearby. It’s also a great base if you’re planning to explore the Isle of Skye, as most key attractions are within easy reach. Highly recommended!
The room could have been cleaner, as there were some spider webs on the ceiling. Apart from that, everything else was good and we had a pleasant stay.

Location was great, bathroom updated
Bed squeaked, door handles also squeaked, no fridge, not enough power points, curtains need maintenance

The Pink House is on the pretty little harbour surrounded by other houses now converted to accommodation by the same landlord.
This is NOT a hotel or B&B. It's rooms in old pubs converted like landlord specials.
The front door isn't locked and there are no staff so anybody can walk in.
The room itself had damp marks running down two of the walls and smelt of sewage. There is reference to a toilet leak in a review from three weeks ago so I guess it's related.
To give the owners credit, we were moved to another unit in a different building in less than an hour of our initial message. The employee tried to tell us it was a seaweed smell. I live right next to a harbour, that was NOT seaweed.
The new unit was a flat but the same front door/lock box set up. The water pressure was poor, build quality is low and there are mouse traps behind the bed.
Had the original place not reeked like a drop toilet on a hot day, it still wouldn't have been worth the high price. We're on night ten of our Scottish tour and this is almost double what we've paid for other far better places. You are paying to say you stayed in a pink house, nothing more.

Comfy beds, good shower , tv, and facilities . View of water.
Felt a bit unsafe with the main door being open . Could hear noisy neighbours late at night and early am.

Nothing. The room met every expectation

It was very central and the harbour was pretty
I booked the room as I needed to be in the area for work. I had to be up really early. It was advertised as quite time between 11 and 7 which is was I was expecting. The people in the room next to me were listening to music and talking. The walls must be paper thin as I could hear everything.
When I left at 545am they were still talking!
There isn’t any staff on hand to be able to inform and when i asked them to keep the volume down at 2am they ignored me.
There wasn’t a plug near the kettle. I had to move the furniture to make drink.

They sent a confirmation for two rooms and yet when we arrived one room was "not ready." When we came back it still was not ready (7pm) Turns out after several phone call attempts which they didn't respond to, we finally reached them and they admitted that they had overbooked. They did provide us with a room in another "sister" hotel down the street. This after 3 hours of being in limbo. Plus internet connection was horrible. I would not recommend this hotel.

Everything is managed with a key box so we didn’t meet anyone .
The location is amazing !!!
by the bay with three amazing seafood restaurants on the road.
We were able to park just in front of the room for free.
The facilities are quite old and our hairdryer died with a black smoke so we were not able to dry our hair after the shower cause it was too late to have someone coming with a new one.

The Pink House is such an iconic spot, perfectly located in the heart of Portree. What I loved most was its central location. It’s right in town yet still feels peaceful and not overly crowded.
The house is quite old, so the floors are very creaky. We stayed on the second floor, and whenever the guests above us walked around, the noise was surprisingly loud, even if they weren’t trying to be disruptive. We could also clearly hear doors slamming and footsteps from the stairs and hallways, which made it hard to fully relax at times.

No breakfast included but plenty of cafes/hotels to choose from. Lovely view from the room. Great location as most places of interest are short drives so it means you can enjoy the town n the evening.
Maybe a bit pricey for room with no breakfast but I dare say staying in an iconic house and location has its price.Think restaurants should maybe think of having menu choices in another language as I could see a few tourists struggling to know what was on offer.

Recently renovated, very clean and comfortable with fantastic views from the window. Perfect location.
If it had a small refrigerator I would give it 10 out if 10. Almost perfect.

Decor, bed a good size and comfortable, bathroom, size of room, views out the window
No breakfast, would have been good if the hotel had offered this, lack of parking, really difficult for the disabled

With a view towards the harbour, the accommodation is centrally located with free on-street parking (which is often busy) and large long-term parking (paid but not too expensive and free between 8pm and 8am) only a few minutes away. A restaurant next door had lovely live music. Nice fish and chips takeaway just a couple of doors away. There was also a beautiful park just around the corner (labelled The Lump on Google Maps).
The room had a comfortable large bed facing the harbour, modern bathroom, and free tea and coffee!

Harbour view from the room window. Right next to the harbour. Newly renovated very clean room. Spacious for two. You can eat in the room overlooking the beautiful harbour. It has a round table and two chairs.it is in the town center and you can get to restaurants, supermarket in a few minute walk.
Shower had very week pressure and was hard to adjust temperature. No parking, so we had to drive around the town a bit to find a parking. If you are lucky you can park right in front of the property along the water. Bath room window had no curtain/blinds and seemed like people walking along the water could see you in shower.
