Rockview

Beautiful property with great views of the harbor.

Parking was hit or miss.

Rockview is absolutely exquisite! Only a minute or two's walk from Portree's Central Square, it is right above the iconic harbour and the view from our room window was the most incredibly beautiful I have seen anywhere in the world. The place is small, but this enables all guests to share the amazing outlook and atmosphere and you really are getting personal attention. The whole place is furnished and decorated with exceptional taste and local colour. Our room was spacious, spotless, warm and comfortable. The gentleman in charge was welcoming and kind and the lady who ran everything was amazing and cooked the most unbelievable Scottish breakfasts (all included in the room price). I have seldom encountered such friendly, helpful and well-organised people running any business. Words fail me...this place is beyond description. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

It was such an amazing little place tucked away from the busy streets. Both Mairi and Andrew were amazing hosts, very welcoming and always ready for a wee chat. The room was spacious and very modern. The bed was super comfortable, and overall it had everything you might want. Breakfast was delicious and super fresh - an amazing top stay. You can easily walk downtown or go for a hike along the shore.
