Beatha Beo B&B Ardslane 1 Clachamish Portree

It was a delight to stay at Sheila and George's home situated in the northern portion of the Isle of Skye, not very far off of the main road, but enough for it to be so quiet and peaceful with good views of the countryside. Sheila helped with several dinner recommendations prior to our arrival in Skye so we could make advance reservations and not be scrambling at the last minute to find a location to eat for dinner. Breakfasts were delicious and cozy in the dedicated breakfast room, complete with coffee, milk, and juice, as well as George's (soon to be famous) fresh baked pastries. They were so helpful with recommendations of locations to visit on Skye and tips on how to avoid traffic congestion. The two bedrooms are ideal for couples traveling together or for a family of up to four, with just enough space to place your luggage and still have room to walk around. The bathroom is spacious and well appointed with towels and amenities.

Just know that the sun rises very early and sets very late during the summer months in the Highlands, so you may want to bring an eye mask to block out the light if you're not able to sleep with ambient light from outside.

It was convenient for seeing the sites on the Isle of Skye. It was very clean and quiet.
