This was a return visit to the property when visiting Stratford-Upon-Avon. It is a welcoming place that is cosy, homely, clean and pays attention to small details that increases the comfort and needs of its guests. An exceptional place to stay within walking distance of the town.

Superb: a home from home

The cottage is tastefully decorated and provides a lovely homely feel. It is also situated within walking distance to the town and is within a quiet/ tranquil area. My husband and I were impressed by all the small thoughtful touches which really enhanced our experience. It is a place we would definitely like to stay at again.

If I am being pedantic, I would say I wasn’t keen on the metal framed bed. As a sensitive sleeper, I feel every movement. Despite this, I still managed to get a good night’s sleep.

The stairs were a bit difficult as I have a back and leg problem but I managed.

A GEM

Well equipped, extremely clean, well appointed pretty cottage.. lovely place. The hosts were amazing in providing EVERYTHING you would need from a home away home. The decor was lovely. They also left us goodies.. enjoyed them too.. instructions were clear. The location was amazing. Quiet in city centre.

The size of the bathroom and the narrow stairway to bedrooms. The lighting at the dining space was a little dim.

It was clean and carefully considered in terms of decor and equipment

Would have loved a sieve (though improvised with the grater) and a set of scales but I probably cooked more than most would. Metal bed was rather squeaky!

Great apart from the park and ride.

The location was within walking distance of a whole range of restaurants and other facilities.

I tried the park and ride weeks season ticket for a second car. All payment options failed and I ended up with £150 in fines. No fault of the cottage owner though.

Located in a quite neighbourhood, this house is an ideal place to stay when visiting Stratford-upon-Avon and its surroundings. Town centre is within walking distance. Very nice interior.

Perfect location. Food hamper on arrival was exceptional. More than just basics. There was all that we needed in the house too. A very thoughtful and generous owner I feel. We will definitely return. Just a short walk to the River Avon & all the amenities in town. Just superb !!
