Excellent host and service in an eccentric apartment!

The host, Shelly, was excellent - very helpful, kind and communicative. The apartment is scrupulously clean and very spacious. The location is convenient and it is good value for money compared with properties closer to the town centre. It is an easy and straightforward 17-minute walk into town and the theatres. There is free on-street parking outside the apartment and around the flat on a quiet estate.

The mixed patterned decor was a bit overwhelming, but the main quibble would be the lack of curtains or blinds. The windows have frosted and floral patterned veneers over them but no other covering. This means it's not possible to see out of many of them and it feels intrusive at night when the lights are on - you wonder what anyone on the outside can see! This would also be a problem in the summer as you can't shut out the light. There is a bath but no shower, which might be off-putting for some.

Brilliant and comfortable stay in walking distance of central Stratford-Upon-Avon

Location was really convenient for Stratford, and comfortably slept our family of four, which for the price, was absolutely brilliant. The host left us a really generous selection of tea, coffee and snacks, and access to Netflix. She was really communicative and helpful and we would definitely go back.

The decor was not really to my personal taste, but that didn’t matter at all. It would also be really helpful if the property had a corkscrew.

A fantastic stay in Stratford-Upon-Avon

We stayed for one night in this beautiful flat in Stratford-upon-Avon. I was over the moon with how big and beautifully decorated it is. Everything was up to par, and as we had rented a car and were driving around England for 12 days we very much appreciated being able to use the washing machine. The price we paid is very reasonable for such a lovely place. I would definately want to stay here again. The distance to the town centre is 15 minutes by foot, which is ok.

Fab host and place if you don't mind smelling of smoke.

Great location. The host was fab and replied super quick to all-our questions. They left us a sweet note and some goodies, which was a nice touch.

The property stunk of smoke, such a shame, because it was great other than that. But clearly, a smoker is in the property a lot because the whole place smelt awful. Also, there is no shower, which may have been me not checking the facilities details carefully enough.

Very poor.

Location, near centre of Strattford.

Flat did not meet expectations. While it has been cleaned, there was a very strong smell of cigarette smoke. This meant that the property was not usable and I had to book into a hotel for the two nights. In many reservations I have made this year, this was the worst outcome and the only one that was unusable. I believe that a full refund is warranted.

Exceptional

We booked this last minute, and my it exceeded our expectations. Beautiful decor, exceptionally clean , comfortable beds and location. The host was wonderful .left us some lovely snacks . Access was easy . We tried to extend our stay but unfortunately it was fully booked. Have already booked it for a girly weekend early next year.

This was a marvellous stay in a spotlessly clean and easily accessible space. Comfortable furnishings, on street free parking, about 15 minutes walk into main areas of Stratford upon Avon. I cannot fault this space and will be returning.

Stylish and Comfortable

The apartment was really stylish and comfortable. Loved the quirky decor! Shelly provided a box of snacks including muffins, cookies, coffee sachets, tea bags and a welcome card. There were also plenty of towels in the bathroom and flannels too. Listing said there was one bedroom and two double beds but there were two bedrooms each with one double bed, both of which were very comfortable. We only used the apartment for cups of tea and sleeping as we had theatre tickets in town, but it was a nice walk away from the town centre and very quiet. Plenty of on-street parking which felt safe. Fantastic communication from Shelly too! Wouldn't hesitate to use the apartment again on future visits to Stratford as it was such good value!!

Listing said check in between 1 and 6 but we arrived at 5.30ish and the block door was locked and the trades button was off. A neighbour let us in but Shelly was on her way to open up anyway. Perhaps amend the listing to reflect the times the block is fully accessible? The apartment is on the first floor with stairs to the landing which was fine for us but I'm not sure it was mentioned in the listing and some people could find that difficult.
