Ah, what a truly splendid and rather unexpected little sojourn! I must confess, my dear, that my initial foray to Tor Druim was approached with a certain... aristocratic skepticism. One hears so many whispers of "charming B&Bs" only to be met with something rather more akin to a glorified garden shed with delusions of grandeur.
But I'm delighted to report that Tor Druim is a different breed entirely. It is, in fact, an absolute gem of the Highlands. The house itself, perched upon the most magnificent of perches, affords views so breathtaking they almost brought a tear to my otherwise stoic eye. One's lodgings, I must add, were nothing short of a sanctuary—the view from my chamber, a veritable masterpiece.
The hosts, bless their terribly kind souls, were a delight. Not a shred of the usual fawning or stiff formality, you understand, but a genuine warmth that was both refreshing and entirely welcome. They possess a remarkable knack for making one feel utterly at home, yet entirely pampered.
And, if you'll permit me a brief digression—a word on the local village shopkeeper. A true hero, by jove! We found ourselves in a bit of a pickle, you see, and this gentleman, with his remarkably well-stocked emporium, saved our dinner from being a rather grim affair. A man of both taste and immense utility!
In short, if you find yourself in need of a Highland retreat that exceeds every possible expectation, Tor Druim is the place. It's an absolute triumph, and I shall be back with rather less aristocratic skepticism and rather more luggage.

Everything was great....apart from the lack of power because of a bad storm.
You have to drive carefully on the single trackl roads for long distances.
