For the price, this a decent place to spend the night.

Quiet and conveniently located to university. Bed very comfortable.

Room had a musty smell. Very outdated. In need of new paint and flooring throughout room and bathroom. Mold in shower corners looked like it was caulked over. Did not use shower. Coffee pot did not work, kept shutting off.

Bed was comfortable. No frills traditional style motel. Clean and well maintained but basic.

Ventilation in the rooms not great. Our room had overwhelming paint fumes and had to switch. Located on the outskirts of town.

Budget hotel perfect for overnight or short stay.

Rooms were clean with comfortable beds. Check in and out was quick and easy. Room comes with a TV, mini fridge and small microwave. It's less than five minutes from the Miami University campus. Price was fine for what I was looking for, just a place to sleep for a few hours before moving on.

The wi-fi reception was very poor. Got only one bar that made it impossible to stream, or do anything other than check email.

Cute roadside motel that's affordable

The front desk staff was wonderful. The bed was very comfortable. I also liked having 2 king size pillows per person.

I would have liked to have been able to park closer to my room. The parking lot was almost full when we got to our room Saturday nite. The AC was very loud and didn't seem like it was operating properly. We didn't turn it on until around 11pm. Had it been earlier, we would have called someone about it.

Excellent - It’s our first choice

The staff was super nice. The rooms were cold. The beds were very very comfortable. I love the location and the price was great. We have stayed here 3 or 4 times in the past 5 years. It’s our “go to” place. They never disappoint.

Accommodations were not worth the money spent, but was better than driving to Cincy or Richmond.

The staff was welcoming and pleasant, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Bathroom had plenty of towels and toiletries.

Air conditioner was very loud. The flooring was cracked through out the room. The bathroom had peeling paint on the ceiling, missing caulk around tub, shower head was loose and the light switch was loose as well.

The Butler Inn is a nice example of the little non-chain motels which were once common in America.

The place was clean and safe. The staff is pleasant. The location is good for anything going on in Oxford. It was a good value, which was more important to me than everything being fancy.

Some of the details were "off." For instance, the shower plumbing in my room was done in reverse so that the full hot comes on first, which is not up to code. The flooring was poorly installed and uneven.

Communication was very difficult!

The property is decent, but the manager was very indifferent and did not seem interested in customer care. I request were very within reason and simple, but there was a lot of indifference on their side. The manager was rude not the staff.

The management was very unprofessional and communication was very difficult. The manager was not interested in listening, but more asserting his opinion rather than communicating and solving the issue . We travel quite extensively and have absolutely wonderful experiences where we go. This was one place I would not recommend.
