Location
Has a bad smell in the hallway

Chose this hotel for the pool, but the pool was closed our entire stay. Had I Known that i would've booked elsewhere.
Additionally, my wife and I both have dust allergies and the room was very dusty. Dust on top of the bed frame, mirror, desk etc...
Alot, food was bland and lukewarm so I chose cereal the next morning.

Location for our plans was good.
Breakfast was horrible. Expired foods snd dried bread in the display case. Toaster didn't work and eggs in the steamer with filthy water. Rooms overpriced and dirty.

Beds were comfortable
Odd smell in room when we arrived and Breakfast was a JOKE! No meat, no eggs and syrup tasted funny. Orange juice which is something you wouldn't think could be screwed up YET it was! Watered down so much it looked like lemonade. Room was NOT cheap, would have expected more for the money. NOT WORTH THE RATE.

Great location, clean, staff was nice.
I didn’t like that the price is ridiculously inflated during family weekend for the college.

Nothing!
Tub &shower wasn’t clean! No water in the room to take a shower or bath! Ceiling pieces were coming off! Doors don’t shut all the way unless you push them and then lock it! Hotel has a bad smell when you walk in! Horrible experience! Will never go back!

Nothing to report
Absolutely everything. The rooms were dirty, from having no toilet paper on the roll when we came in to having to switch rooms because the first we were assigned had filthy bedding. The next room’s bedding was busted open, stained, and ripped. Took 2 trips to the lobby to finally get a clean blanket. The walls were dirty. The phone in the room didn’t even work, so couldn’t call the front desk if we needed. The customer service was abysmal. Even the Dairy Queen across the street, walking there we found a meth pipe on the ground. Literally nothing is bringing us back. The pool was under maintenance so we couldn’t swim. Never in a million years will we ever even consider coming back.

The condition of the hotel was terrible. I only booked there going onto my college tour for my son because you said you guys had a pool. The pool was down. It looks very nasty. The leaning on the bed was nasty and was not clean. It took until halfway through the day for air condition to get the room clean, so I was just very, not satisfied. I was told that something was going to be done as far as my inconvenience I’ve yet to receive anything. I will be making a call again today.
Again, the linen was not clean. The pool was down which we were not told the AC took half of our visit for it to kick me in for it to cool off the room and I was just not satisfied with the overall day.

Treadmill in workout room.
The room was not very clean, behind the bathroom door appeared to have never been cleaned since remodel. Wrappers found from previous occupant, paint slapped over damaged walls and ceiling instead of proper repairs. Pool was out of service. The breakfast was a disgrace, no eggs, microwaved pale sausage, Walmart yogurt, bagged gas station pastries (one with mold inside the package), the absolute worst coffee imaginable. My daughter loves tea, but all that was available was generic American tea. The breakfast prep area looked like a crime scene, very dirty and cluttered.

Heavy garlic upon arrival - staff was using a pressure cooker preparing her dinner in the lobby. I had to beg for 2 sets of towels.
I left at 2am due to Bed Bugs. Do not stay at this hotel- Small blood stains on sheets or pillowcases.
• Tiny dark spots (bed bug droppings).
• Shed skins or eggshells.
• A musty, sweet smell (in heavy infestations).
Professionals can use heat treatments, which raise room temps to ~120°F (lethal for bed bugs).
• They may also do multiple chemical treatments.

The location was about the only thing I liked & the bed was comfortable
I requested double queen beds for my son and I and we received a king bed. There was a spider in the bathroom and the sink was cracked. Didn't look like they really cared for the location. Breakfast options where not good, questioning whether I should stay at comfort inn again.

Location
This is the kind of hotel you’d expect to pay $100 for, not $400. Outdated and worn. Breakfast was not refilled and staff seemed put out when we asked for it to be.

I liked that this is close to where my son is going to school so I can visit him.
This place needs a total update. There were watermarks on the ceiling and overall it just felt a little gross even though it seemed clean. Does that make sense? The price I paid to stay there one night was ridiculous for the condition of the property. Oxford, Ohio needs a few more hotels to accommodate visiting families.

The ac was broke the room stayed at a temp of 78. We moved the rolling desk out only to realize it was missing a wheel. We had to put a shoe underneath it to level it out. Should be called uncomfortable Inn. The breakfast was open 6-10 but by 9 am there was hardly any food. Zero eggs no meat, milk was sour and the juice was nothing but water. Worst stay ever

No water pressure to shower, toaster in kitchen didn’t work, the spicket to the waffle batter broke and batter ran all over the place, no one there to clean it up. Air conditioner in room didn’t start working until 1:30 am. $200+ to stay there was ridiculous never again

It was near Miami University
Just seemed extremely rundown like the entire building needs an overhaul inside and out. The toilet barely wanted to flush and there was nothing major happening in the toilet 😅

Close to town so I could walk. Premises were clean and my room was very quiet. Was eating away from the hotel so did not try the breakfast. Least expensive hotel in town; good value for the money compared to other hotels.
Could have used a little more hot water in the shower. That's about it.

The toilets were really bad. The room I stayed , it would not flush .Very annoying situation as I was with my daughter . I had to change room . The toilet in other room also was not effective. Needed 2 - 3 times flushing

Fruit flies on breakfast display. Food looked of so poor quality that I kept on walking.
Property was run down. Hair dryer did not work. Hallway smelled like marijuana on second floor. Just a horrible value for over $200 per night. Forced to stay there because few options in the town so hotels gouge people. Hotel was straight out of the 1980s. Brought my own sheet as I did not want to sleep under the covers. Hairs in the shower. Fan in room clicked on and off repeatedly all night on 15 sec intervals.

The bathroom needed a fresh paint job. Bedding had a whole in the comforter with yellow stains. Cup of water that did not belong to us was left in the refrigerator. Dirty pillow stains . Front desk workers could have presented themselves friendlier.

location, room was fine, pretty clean
I’ve stayed here a lot to visit family. i used to think it was really nice but It seems like it’s gone downhill in the last year. Staff isn’t friendly, even when I looked at him and greeted him. It just seems like the property is getting worn out and owners must not be doing anything to improve or keep it up.

nothing
We where given a dirty from previous a guest. The staff was useless and didn’t seem phased by it. Garbage on the floor in the hallway near the room. They then told us they were completely booked and it was very late so we had to go to another town at 11pm. Hotel is dirty in general.

Very quiet when I was there. Cody the manager was super helpful and friendly in getting me a room when I had an issue with another property I was supposed to stay in. It is clean and the breakfast is better than average for this type of buffet. Free bottled water a plus for me! Felt safe for female traveling alone. This is the second time I've stayed there and will again.
One light was out in the bathroom, if I'd been there longer would have asked for it to be replaced so not a big deal. Some of the hallway areas could use an update and the shower is weird....you can't slide open the door closest to the faucet and you literally have to walk in and get wet to turn it on.
