We had a lovely vacation in Parma. The house has the perfect location. We visited Piacenza, Cremona, Mantova, Modena, all within a distance between 30 and 60 KMS. The house was cosy and well equipped. There was a beautiful garden to relax.
Our host Giuseppe was very friendly and gave us information about the neighborhood.

We stayed 5 days at the property and thoroughly enjoyed the area and made even better by the hospitality of the owners, Giuseppe & Grazia. You will need a car to stay at the property, a former farm that’s been converted into a personal home and rental unit. The properties are separated, providing. All the privacy you would expect or want. You are 2.5 km to a larger shopping area, 2.5 km to the train station and 3.0 km to Parma. We very much enjoyed Parma for the historical significance, shopping and dining. We took a train trip (40 min) to Bologna. After each day our host checked in w/us to make sure we had everything we needed. Including bringing us an appetizer tray the first night and inviting us into their home the last night for desert and drinks. They are in the process of opening a second unit so the property could easily accommodate two couples. You can’t go wrong w/this property and the hosts are very special people.

The communication with our host was fantastic, and so was the hospitality'
We spent a marvelous 10 days in this wonderful detached house. It is in a great position to explore this part of Northern Italy, but you will require a car, just remember not to attempt driving into Parma, residential cars only. They do have Drive n Park.
Best get train to Modener.
The family made us feel very much at home, and we now feel they are part of ours.
Highly recommended for a couple
