Great cottage for a family and dog.
Very accommodating. I left an item when I checked out and the owner offered to ship it to my UK address. The ground are lovely with extensive walks around the land and a path behind the cottage to the river. It is a great location for a family with a dog. Lots of wildlife, deer in the fields and red squirrels in the gardens around the house. The owner attracts local birds and squirrels by filling in the bird feeder every morning. It isn't clear in the description but there are 2 shower stalls (one in the downstairs bathroom and one in the upstairs) as well as a corner bath in the upstairs unit.
WiFi effectively doesn't work other than loading text in emails. Not possible to do teleworking unless you have sufficient mobile data. The road to the cottage is single track, rutted with few passing places.

it was a great find, even better if there was a welcome pack of food essentials to get you started
it was clean and very comfortable. the bedrooms and kitchen ample and well resourced. the bird and squirrel feeders were a joy to watch with lots of regular visitors.
the one track road to the cottage was narrow and quite long with a sheer drop on one side.

Lovely, well equipped and with beautiful wildlife
A beautiful cottage, extremely clean, comfortable and well equipped and with a lovely outdoor space to enjoy. So much wildlife - red squirrels, woodpeckers, various small birds visiting the garden daily and roe deer close by along the track. Dogs allowed and very safe away from traffic (though not fully enclosed if your doggie has a tendency to wander). Hosts provide all information needed well ahead and are available for any further enquiries.
The track to the cottage, about a mile long, may not be suitable if you have an especially low vehicle, but it does mean you get to stay in what feels like a very secluded spot, yet close to local amenities when needed.
