A Buckie Gem
Although little to do in Buckie, Sea Yonder is a wonderful place to chill. If you're a golfer, this is the perfect venue, with courses all around you and peace and quiet in the Hot Tub with gorgeous views waiting your return in total privacy.
Not a complaint, just lack of knowledge on my part. But if you're going to eat in, inremember to warm up the oven (Aga ?) early or you'll be eating really late.

Exceptional
Beautiful Fisherman's Cottage literally right by the sea, you couldn't get any closer. We spent Christmas at Sea Yonder, it was the perfect place to chill and unwind from a hectic year. There were 4 of us, our twins had a bedroom each, plenty of space for us all. We loved the cozy living room with wood burner, fabulous sea views whatever the weather and of course, the amazing hot tub. Even on a cold December night, it was magical to sit in 40 degrees of bubbling water listening to the waves crashing against the rocks whilst gazing at the stars in the clear, dark sky. Just fabulous, we miss it already! Liz and Mark were wonderful hosts even lending me a coat having left mine in a hotel en route. We appreciated the little touches on arrival, bubbly in the ice bucket, sweets for the kids, flowers in a vase, a big bowel of fruit and nuts. Very generous. Of course arriving to a lit fire and music playing was a welcoming touch. Nothing was too much trouble. The little town of Buckie has everything to facilitate your stay including a great fishmongers and butchers. We explored many areas with Findhorn having a lovely beach for a Christmas walk. We loved the Cairngorm National Park, the small town of Aviemore, Cairngorm ski resort, the walks and Loch in Glenmore. High recommend Sea Yonder for a fab, relaxing stay and of course Liz and Mark too for all their helpful suggestions and recommendations.
