The Dram Van - Beautiful, luxury static caravan

A well presented place. Modern and functional. It does feel like a flat pack assembled place which lacks personality but a lot of people seem to prefer that. The shower pressure was decent. The place was clean. The bed was comfortable. The site felt secure and well maintained.

There are no net curtains so you feel a bit like a goldfish in a bowl if the curtains aren’t all closed and when they are it feels a bit like a cave. Nets or the misted window sticker things to add privacy without losing light would make a big difference. The settee smelt frowsty / unpleasant but a quick squirt of fabric freshener helped with that. May benefit from washable throws on the settee or at least using a fabric freshener between guests. The shower would randomly go cold for a few seconds which was an unpleasant shock when you’re all soaped up and have to jump out from under the spray and wait for it to warm up again.

The van is beautiful, with one double and two twin bedrooms, and two toilets! The free, fast WiFi provided was exceptional and allowed me to work, while the kids could play. The site itself is quiet, clean and very friendly with everything you could need.
