Wouldn’t stay again.

The lounge. It was cosy and comfortable.

Everything else. The apartment was cluttered, not really clean and the two mattresses stacked on top of each other to make a “third bed” were not ideal.

Unclean dead flies cobwebs etc. Too many personal items in the home. Host wasn't helpful when we phoned to ask about the TV, actually laughed at us and was rude. We were also asked to leave an hour earlier than expected at very short notice. The host spoke to us on the phone and did not ask us to leave early in person. When I check my emails I saw a message.

An excellent place to stay as a base to look around the area or even just to stay and relax.

Very clean and modern bathroom. Excellent shower. EV charger right across the street. Comfortable and cozy. Excellent location a short walk to linn falls and the river.

Not much, the salt mill was broken so I drastically over salted my pasta lol but I can’t expect that to be checked so not complaining just highlighting so it could hopefully be replaced.

Nice enough apartment but attention to detail missing

Location was great for what we planned to do in the area. It was nice to have a lounge to relax in at the end of the day.

It would have been nice to have fresh coffee and tea making facilities. There was a jar of nearly empty instant coffee that was hard and unusable. There was a bottle of milk in the fridge that was half empty that expired the next day. There were also other food stuffs in the fringe , half a bag of bred , a used water bottle. Also sheer curtains on the windows would be nice, the bedrooms are very exposed to the street right outside.

This is an exceptional location for touring the Speyside region. My family of four adults loved it.

The apartment is just as the pictures show and the listing describes. The decorating is well done. The kitchen is well stocked with basics. The beds were quite comfortable, and the living room was cozy for our family of four adults to hang out in together. It has been renovated well. The location is exceptional for touring Speyside and just steps away from Aberlour distillery. Highly recommend dinner and drinks at the Mash Tun Hotel "across the street." The hotel is located on the river with a beautiful meadow, playground and walking trail. You're within easy walking distance of shops and other locations to eat as well. The apartment is right on High Street, the main road through town, so the windows are right on the sidewalk. It's a fairly quiet town and feels very safe. There is ample and free street parking right outside the home. As others have mentioned, there is no table for eating meals. Right inside the front door is a great spot for a future eating nook, but the current option is to eat around the coffee table in the living room. The host is quite responsive and friendly, and the family that lives above the apartment is lovely.

Horrendous and we are very tired now having been ill and here for a break and now an 8 hour drive home

Major problems with noise coming from upstairs from early morning and intermittently throughout the rest of the day. Sadly this property is not fit for purpose to rent out due to the above. We had to go out to escape the constant kids, dogs and adults thumping noises through the ceiling. Culminating in our having to leave a day early. I have lodged a complaint and request a full refund for the three days. The owners should not rent out again u til they have soundproofed walls and ceiling. The noise is untenable. I have contacted my solicitor. Despite making a complaint on the first day the noise continued and actually got worse, after booking.com gained assurances from the owner that the noise would subside- it didn’t. There are other reviews stating the same about noise from family living above!! Please inspect this property before renting it out again. It is ruining hard earned holidays for families like ours. Dirty soiled toilet and stained bed linen. You can see from my photos that we were in 131 and the above was 131A - it was simply the upstairs basically converted with no sound proofing.

Feels like home

Very cozy and clean flat, a couple minutes walk from the Aberlour distillery. Great for a group of friends on their Speyside whisky quest. Easy communication with the property manager.

Lovely village, dirty apartment, hosts not nice at all!

The location is lovely. Close to everything you need, lovely walks, a few shops and of course the Highland Games which is the reason we booked for the dates we did.

The apartment was not very clean. Cobwebs and dust on shelves, light fixtures and windows. A candle in a glass propping up one of the sofas, and as far as we could see no sofa bed as was suggested in the details. Stained towels, tatty decoration. The worst was receiving an email when I got home complaining that we'd used all the bedding and that there were more people in the apartment that I'd stated (booking.com told them it was just me when it was actually meant to be 4 of us but ended up being 3. My family live locally so came to visit in the day and clearly this had been seen by the hosts who I suspect live in the upstairs apartment, but they didn't have the wherewithal to come and speak to us about it, leaving instead a very cowardly email complaining that we'd used all the bedding. We had used a lot but due to illness and allergies but they didn't even ask us about this and just complained we'd used too much bedding! Unfortunately this means we won't be booking again as it has really upset me that they were like this, especially as it turns out I went to school with one of the owners of the apartment!

A dinning table with chairs would be benificial. Eating meals from a low coffee table is not desirable. The access to a washing machine would be an improvement.

Could not access TV channels, but fortunately we had Netflix. No Guest Info book to advise what to do with rubbish when leaving. The fridge was full of other peoples food ( opened bottles of milk Oat milk and General milk)and alcohol. Empty beer can under table

Good location to visit places although I was there to visit family. Parking outside the door Close to restaurants but try to book early. I arrived on the Saturday and couldn't get in anywhere in Aberlour or the next village Craigellachie. Drove quite a distance until I managed to get in somewhere.

No general tv channels, nobody to answer anything. Toilet seat needs repairing and owners were aware. My towels had stains on them. Suggest they bleach them. A shame because beautiful bath towels. No wifi which doesn't normally bother me but with no local contact it would have been handy to google. Drinks left in fridge but with no welcome note nothing was touched. Dead insects in window sill and cob webs in every room. The apartment is on a main road and quite noisy with amount of lorries that go through.

One of the best places to stay on the Highland distillery trail

Absolutely everything. One of the nicest cottages you could ever have the privilege to stop in. Clean and tidy, all the amenities you could need, perfect location if you want to do distillery tours around the area and the feel of a home from home. Beds are so comfortable, and the living area was so wonderful. So lovely to walk into the house and see how well kept the place is. The living room is wonderful and so homely, beautiful fireplace. There was coffee and tea on site plus a number of other things which made us feel so very welcome. Thank you so much for everything. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be returning here in the future.

Nothing at all. There have been comments from other people previously about noise from traffic. The house is on a main road so you would expect that, and to be honest, it didn't bother us at all. Can't think of anything negative to say about this place, absolutely loved it

Lovely accommodation in central Aberlour

Well stocked fridge, easy to find, really clear directions on arrival. Spacious, comfy beds and living room. Great space for work or relaxing after exploring Whisky country. Right next to Aberlour distillery. Shower was great, very modern.

I don't really have any real complaints but I do have a few random thoughts - The freezer was full of random food but it would have been nice if there was space for us to buy and store ice for the stay. The door was a little hard to open, the lock seems like it's on it's way out.
