Brylach Steading

We loved Brylach Steading. Our cottage was immaculate and perfectly cosy. The Steading is situated in the most tranquil setting and still close to Elgin. The grounds are delightful and being able to walk the dogs in the paddock opposite was a bonus. The hosts Lou and Jan made us so welcome. Definitely one to go back to.

Louise and Jan were perfect hosts, nothing was too much trouble and they offered really useful advice on things to do and places to see, all pet friendly. The accomodation is to an incredibly high standard of decor and cleanliness. We stayed for a week and had everything we needed. A lovely welcome with thoughtful touches of pet bedding, towels, bowls and treats, and even some welcome treats for us.They had thought of everything to make our stay special. We would definitely stay here again.

Although we only had a short stay (3 nights). We absolutely loved our time in such a magical place. The location was stunning with access to lots of different villages and whisky distilleries, local pubs, and great places to eat. Our hosts Lousie and Jan were very friendly and attentive with great knowledge of the area and the old coach house building in which we stayed. The facilities within our cottage were perfect. The cottage was spotless clean and had the most comfortable beds for a good night's sleep. The welcome package with all the extra touches was greatly appreciated to get you settled in with essentials such as tea, coffee, and milk. Lovely luxury toiletries and the best furry friend package for our little Shitzu Chewy. Great place and dog friendly. We can't wait to revisit and stay longer than 3 nights. Louise and Jan are just the best hosts.

There are no negatives about our stay whatsoever, except that our stay was too short.

Everything! It was an astounding two days here!! Spoiled us for the rest of our journey. Lou and Jan were perfect hosts and have created an amazing environment. We stayed in the Hayloft residence. What magic! We felt like we were in an exquisite model home but it was also warm and comfortable. The attention to detail was fantastic! The full kitchen can accommodate as much cooking as you like, the bathroom and separate bedroom so well appointed and modern while still being cozy. In fact, there is not enough superlatives to describe how much we loved this stay. The country setting was very peaceful, great for unwinding. Conveniently located close to towns and the whiskey trail but a world away. We would gladly stay for the rest of our journey, but we definitely would book this property again when we are in the area. Thanks Lou and Jan for making this part of our trip so special
