Few minutes walk away from centre. Spotless. Very comfortable. Parking right outside. Graham who met us on arrival and checked us in was a really lovely guy. Very helpful, friendly and chatty.

The lack of space and not where to go to have a break when you are in for the bad weather.

Easy to locate and was given a very warm welcome by Graham who offered clear instructions re keys etc. The room was very clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable. Great location. Only a short walk to pubs and shops. Stayed for one night but could easily stay a few days. I recommend.

Cleanliness

Very clean and tidy and comfy

The staff member Graham greeted us at the door and explained everything such as how to use the front door key etc.. after this he then explained the importance of being quiet and not causing too much noise which is to be expected.. he then proceeded to make a comment on me and my friend bringing men back to our rooms and said this is not allowed which we found offensive as he automatically assumed we would be as we are young. He then started asking what we would be doing that night to which we kept answers short due to the first comment seeming weird. In the morning he claimed there had been a noise complaint against me and my friend when I made 100% sure we were quiet, as he requested. He then stated that he just “hopes the lady next door is okay as she works away in london” which gave off the impression that me and my friend had done something really bad when we haven’t. We then made him aware of a lot of banging from people in the room above us and he then spoke over my friend and stated “yeah but your going to hear that sort of thing” bearing in mind it was half 2 in the morning when me and my friend heard the noises. This also made us feel like he didn’t care about the experience we had and that we were just a nuisance. His tone and mannerisms were patronising and condescending and as women in our early 20s this feels uncomfortable for us. I also found it incredibly inappropriate for him not to tell us there was cameras in the reception that record conversations too. For a room that we paid for I found it shocking how we felt we had to step on egg shells incase we were to get in trouble and felt like we could not relax. Will not be going back again.

Perfect for our needs. No problem having no breakfast, plenty o& places 10 mins walk down the hill. Clean, and comfy.

Road noise can be loud. Upstairs toilets loud ( macerators)
