Pleasantly rustic with will willing staff, comfortable bed and good food. Happy to go back. Nice experiance.

A lovely country pub. The landlady was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Plenty of tea and coffee sachets in the room. The food was exceptional and the breakfast was amazing. Even freshly brewed coffee which you do not get in hotels. We were pleasantly surprised.

Great place to stay in a quiet rural location. The room was clean and comfortable with a powerful hot shower and the WiFi is very fast for a rural spot too.
Nice atmosphere and the staff are really friendly and helpful. The food was very tasty and reasonably priced too.
The only downside for me was that I didn’t sleep well because in the room there was an illuminated fire escape sign above my door that couldn’t be turned off. This is totally unnecessary as I knew where the door was, but sleeping with a light on is not the way I like to do it. I like sleeping in the dark. Must remember to take a blindfold sleep mask the next time I stay here.
