I must admit, we were a little worried after reading some of the reviews, but our experience was just fantastic!
From the polite and friendly staff, the beautiful surroundings, the room (number 14) which was huge and had a wonderful rain shower and complimentary sponge cakes (delicious!), as well as a fan to keep us cool in the unusually hot weather.
We made good use of the spa facilities with a swim in the pool then a relaxing time in the hot tub and sauna to finish. We never had to wait although I'm sure you do at ver6 busy times.
Breakfast was delicious and quick too with a good selection of cold foods and hot food cooked to order. We didn't eat at the hotel for dinner so we're unable to review that, but it was great to finish our evening with a coffee in the beautiful courtyard.
We absolutely loved our stay and would come again!

Lovely location, breakfast was good, but not excellent. The room was beautiful and very comfortable bed. Would stay here again if staying in Rutland
