A very good small hotel
This is a really nice family run hotel near the centre of Oakham. The town has a lot of history, is well worth visiting and is next to Rutland Water which is England's largest reservoir.

Comfortable and a great location
Very clean and well looked after hotel set in the middle of the town. Staff very friendly and helpful. Comfortable room with a lovely bed.
Breakfast was lovely and freshly cooked but a few more options would be great.

Comfortable room, good sized bath and hot water in ensuite. Warm room.

Lovely wee hotel
Always get a good sleep here, staff in the morning are great.
1) I find it annoying that there are no plug sockets by the bedside. 2) Would be nice to have some decent "non-pork" options for breakfast i.e. chicken/beef sausages and/pr turkey rashers
