The Red House Guest House

Having stayed in several places in Grantham this perfect location for visiting family. The member of staff on duty was welcoming and helpful.

Staff friendly and accommodating, Great location

We didn’t actually stay in The Red house..we were taken a few minutes walk away to another B&B which belongs to The Red house, apparently there was no hot water/heating … The lady that met us and checked us in was so nice..

We were in a twin room at the top of the property, 2 flights of extremely steep steps, if we’d have had a full size suitcase it would have been impossible to get it up there, I’m 65 in good health, unfortunately those less abled would never be able to get up there. The bathroom was very small, if you were of a bigger build you’d struggle to use the toilet and shower. The window had two broken paines of glass. We were told there were blankets in the wardrobe however we only found pillows. The bed was quite comfortable and the linen smelt clean.

Lovely manager. Netflix on TV in room. Excellent breakfast.

Private bathroom was very small and shabby. Ceiling tiles were coming away above the shower and ceiling fan was dirty. Sink was very small. Mattress too firm for me and bed frame was creaky. Unappealing view of ugly flats at the rear.
