Location is fabulous. Literally on the doorstep to the centre of Grantham. Host was so friendly and the room was very clean!! Value was excellent

A little old fashioned, but that is not a drawback

Really clean and comfortable little hotel that is in the perfect location to stay at when we attend a family function locally. The ladies are lovely and kind and really look after us.

The proprietor is a lovely lady very welcoming, the red house we have stayed at a few times now and will in the future. We stayed in room six in the main house top floor very quiet and comfortable although our bathroom was not in the room it was private and had a everything we wanted. I would say it's the best value place to stay for a break in Grantham. Thanks to the lady that served us breakfast excellent see you again soon!!!

Single beds which also prevent fully opening of the room door the decor was poor in both room and private bathroom across the landing which was a surprise to me as I was expecting an on sweet bathroom which I accept I may have misinterpreted the description when booking

Excellent room, quiet, and in a good location

The lady who she is running the business is exceptional!!! Such a warm hearted lady, professional and pleasant. I have no words to describe how happy I am and how impressed I am by her hospitality. I strongly recommend this hotel to all. I cannot thank her enough.

Everything was just perfect.

The hostess goes above and beyond her way to ensure that we are comfortable and well looked after. She is a gem and love her stories sharing her life experiences and just being candid.

I shared a twin room with ensuite shower, with my brother visiting from overseas. Facilities although fairly basic, were more than adequate for a two night stopover in Grantham. Spotlessly clean and Amy made absolutely sure that we were happy with the accommodation and even offering us a choice of differently laid out rooms. Very good value all round with the town centre and a wealth of eateries/pubs only a few minutes' walk away! I can thoroughly recommend the nearby Blue Pig pub as being a very friendly traditional pub and the superb Everest Inn Gurkha Restaurant for 'proper curry' lovers! We didn't have the available breakfast but apparently it is very good indeed.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay. The place was exceptionally clean and well maintained, which made me feel comfortable from the moment I arrived. Every corner of the apartment was spotless and thoughtfully arranged, showing great attention to detail. The location could not have been better. It was close to everything I needed, including shops, restaurants, and public transportation, yet still quiet enough to relax and enjoy a peaceful night’s rest. The host was truly amazing. Communication was quick, friendly, and very helpful throughout my stay. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and even offered great local recommendations that made my visit even more enjoyable. It was clear that the host genuinely cares about providing the best possible experience for guests. Overall, this stay exceeded my expectations in every way. The combination of cleanliness, a convenient location, and such an attentive host made it one of the best places I have stayed in. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay. I will definitely return on my next visit.

Nothing hugely bad at all - the only tiny thing I might say is that the en-suite bathroom was a little small, but that's being very picky!

Shower was only a dribble, but was lovely and hot. Owner said shower was due to be changed soon.

I wanted a cooked breakfast as I was attending an all days sports training event. However, this was not available to me as a member of staff hadn't turned up and the staff on duty could only cope with a certain number of guests. The bedroom window did not open - the room was hot and stuffy. The 'private bathroom' was a tiny cubicle with shower, toilet and sink and a sliding door to close. The whole building was tired and dated. I visit Grantham monthly and was looking for a hotel alternative -this isn't it. A cooked breakfast is essential.

Both Amie and Stella were lovely. Very welcoming and there for anything you need. The room was extremely clean and the bed was very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

If there was a criticism it would be the shower. Small but functional however lacked a little bit of pressure. However this would not stop me rebooking in the future.

The location was very good. The parking was off road and specious. The bed was comfortable. There was plenty of hot water for bathing. The owner was very chatty and pleasant.

The decor was tired and needs a good update. The bathroom was quite limiting, but very clean.

Squeaky bed and the bathroom was across the corridor. If you need the toilet during the night, I had to dress first.
