Bowtree House Bed and Breakfast

Host was exceptional, very friendly, welcomed us in and made us feel immediately at home, also kept in contact before our arrival to ensure an uncomplicated check in. Rooms were spacious and immaculately clean with a great range of amenities in the rooms as well as available in the dining room downstairs. Very comfortable nights sleep, will definitely stay here again when in the area. And the breakfast was amazing, all in a great value for money comfortable stay.

Continental breakfast offered - good selection of items to choose from. Large, warm comfortable room. Good size shower room. Friendly & informative host.

Only downside was that it was on a busy road

A wonderful "home from home" stay – highly recommended! My husband and I stayed here for one night over the weekend while visiting family in Grantham for a special birthday. We found this B&B on Booking.com and it couldn't have been more perfect for us. The location is ideal—very close to our family but also within easy walking distance to local shops, pubs, and restaurants. The owners are incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome immediately; nothing was too much trouble for them. Our room was lovely—spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and had a wonderful 'homey' feel. It’s not a 'posh' or clinical hotel; it’s a true independent B&B that feels like a home from home, which is exactly what we wanted. I was particularly impressed by the effort they went to for my dietary needs. Providing gluten-free options at breakfast (included in the price!) was a fantastic touch. There was a great spread of cereals, porridge, croissants, fresh juices, and yogurts. While a cooked breakfast was kindly offered, the continental selection was so good we were more than happy with that! Excellent value for money and a genuinely lovely atmosphere. We would 100% recommend staying here if you are visiting Grantham!

Very friendly and helpful owners. A lovely stay, out of 6 accommodation houses, this was the best.

Lovely welcome from Claire, who was very hospitable. The room was large with a clean bathroom and tea/coffee. The dining room downstairs also had water and other drinks/snacks. It was perfect for my short stay!

All the bedrooms were colour themed and mine was large and a restful green was the main colour. The furniture was chosen with care and was practical. There was a blackout blind as well as curtains - this was good as the window was large.There was a magnifying face mirror in the bedroom and a lit mirror in the bathroom with a section of it that was magnified- this was very thoughtful. Clare , the hostess , was outstanding and patient and uncomplaining when I overslept and came down to breakfast late.A lovely touch was that she served grated cheese on the side with my poached egg on toast- ordered the night before Clare offered to pick me up from my coach stop at a leisure centre large car park about 10 mins walk from the property because it was not well lit and dropped me at the station the next morning as the bus to the station was a long walk from the house

A warm welcome, very clean and comfortable room, en suite beautifully clean, continental breakfast delicious, cooked breakfast availalble, Just a perfect overnight stay. Parking in driveway was easy and so convenient.
