Very tight turning to park car. Bed base had raised wooden corners which I caught multiple times, causing bruises to my thigh.

An easy walk into the town and parking on site. The accommodation was very comfortable and there was a warm welcome

Great communication from Sarah who was away during our stay, but Rachel made us feel very welcome in her absence. Loved the self-service breakfast, Marmite would be a nice addition to all the sweet toast-topping options but really everything else was perfect, including the cosy room, comfy bed and hot shower. Would unreservedly recommend Henwick House to anyone planning a visit to (lovely) Ludlow.

The room was spacious with a large and comfortable bed. Attention to detail and convenient electrical sockets and USB points at the bedside and elsewhere. Breakfast was exceptionally good with fresh local produce. A 10 minute walk from the top of town.

Good location with car parking. Easy 10 minute walk to town centre. Clean smallish double room with en-suite shower.

All Breakfasts- instant coffee/tea, basic supermarket sliced bread continental breakfast - as above + pre- packaged synthetic croissants etc Cooked breakfasts which we paid for- bread/coffee/tea as above. Breakfast cooked fresh but quality of bacon, sausages fairly basic Breakfasts could have been better at minimal extra expense.

Great breakfast, beautifully decorated room and shower room, plenty of space, very comfy bed. Lovely, helpful host.Ideal location; 15 mins' walk from Ludlow town centre.

Comfortable room and good breakfast

Unfortunately woken several times in the night by another guest's pet (scratches at the door and barking, assume dog).

we were provided a full english breakast, very nice.

There wers some large stains on the bedroom carpet, near the foot of the bed.

Very comfortable and clean room, with a comfy bed. In a fairly quiet location, yet only 8-10 minutes walk from the town centre. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the continental breakfast was good. Private off road parking was a bonus

No real negatives to report

I can't fault anything about our stay, we were warmly welcomed and accommodated even though we arrived a little early. The room was just perfect, so comfortable and charming with everything that we could possibly need. Unfortunately we didn't make it down to breakfast but had a little sneaky look in to the dining room before we left and it looked very inviting. The location was ideal, with just a 20 minute stroll into town. I can't rate this stay high enough and would definitely book again when next staying in Ludlow.

Beautifully presented. Good location to walk into town with parking. Comfortable beds and lovely conservatory area to sit in with a cup of tea.

Very good continental and cooked breakfast.

We liked everything about this place, for our needs it was just perfect. A lovely welcoming home from home but a feeling of being on holiday too. Our host Sarah was a lovely person and gave us info where to go in Ludlow. For some people it may feel out on a limb, but for us it was perfect, just a 5min walk into the town.

Everything was exactly what was needed for our trip. A friendly and helpful welcome greeted us. We could easily walk into the centre of Ludlow, which was a requirement.

Beautiful house with off-street parking. We were very comfortable. Lovely king-sized bed. Bedroom and bathroom equipped with everything we could need. Thoroughly enjoyed our continental breakfast. Host was so helpful and friendly. Thoroughly recommended!

Size of room, comfort, decor (particularly in large well equipped bathroom), artefacts, particularly in dining room, location in walking distance of beautiful town. Very helpful hostess who readily posted back to me items I left behind..

The continental breakfast offered choice but I would have preferred fewer packaged options.

The hotel stated itself as 4 stars but it wasn't really. When we arrive we were dissapointed to see it that didn't meet our expectations. WE talked to the the owner, we said it's not a cancellable room but would you mind if you cancel this reservation for us. Once or twice Booking.com honoured cancellations if the owners are Ok with it. She seemed Ok with it but then we realised that she hasn't cancelled our reservation and charged us full. When I called her she denied that she agreed to it. It was a breakfast including reservation and she kept all the monies. If she didn't agree we would have stayed as we wouldn't like to forego of £130... She could have called and said, I'm not doing it.. We paid twice for the night unfortunately.
