The Church Inn is located right in the centre of Ludlow - a lovely, busy, buzzy town. We were able to walk everywhere. Our room had a small balcony overlooking the back of Ludlow's magnificent church. The room was very comfortable with a great bed and good shower - also a very large bath which we didn't use! Breakfast each morning was excellent - a good choice and prepared to order. The layout of the breakfast table was delightful. We also had one evening meal in the pub downstairs which was definitely above the normal standard of pub food. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful.
There are three flights of stairs up to the rooms but we had help with our luggage on arrival. This did help to keep us fit after all the food we ate and also meant there was no noise from the pub downstairs. Well worth the climb!
