Church Inn

We loved being in the heart of Ludlow, staying in a room with patio doors onto a balcony overlooking the church. Hearing the carillon at 8am was an unexpected bonus. The food was well presented, high quality and delicious. Scrambled eggs and smoked salmon for breakfast was a treat. The service was efficient and friendly. I particularly liked having Clipper organic tea bags in the room instead of the usual sort.

Room was very nice and the evening meal was very good. Breakfast was very good too although the bacon was a bit tough.

The entrance to the bathroom in the room 3 was very low and I banged my head a couple of times. A piece of foam padding would have helped! Also, when the mirror steamed up in the bathroom after a shower ( which cant be helped ), I wiped it with a towel from the side and the mirror nearly fell out of the brackets that were holding it. An accident waiting to happen which I think the hotel should address pretty soon!

The breakfast was delicious with plenty of options for a hot meal and a choice of cereal and granola. The bath was a great size, room immaculate and the balcony overlooking the church was just amazing! My friend and I also booked for supper and it was delicious and good value.

Breakfast cooked perfectly and to our liking throughout our stay. The room was Beautiful, Very clean and comfortable. (and with a little touch of consideration to their guest they added a Fan during the warm weather in the room.) The staff was friendly and welcoming , and location was ideal and central. We particularly liked The Ludlow To Do List on the Breakfast room wall. ( which we managed to do most of during our short break.)

There was nothing we disliked or negative during our stay.
