Brilliant location very central for exploring Ludlow. Car Park a short walk away but not free. Easy to pay and extend parking via app though. very comfortable apartment, and amazing shower! fab pubs and restuarants nearby too! Lots of tea/coffee supplies which were appreciated along with the Netflix log in. Could slightly hear the family below us in that apartment so pretty sure they could hear us walking around above, tried not to be a fairy elephant!
I'm really picky but I like a soft feather pillow and the pillows were a little hard for me. There is a second bedroom through the bathroom, although we didn't need this it would have been nice for the door to be unlocked for us to have a nosey, and see whether we preferred that bed to the other one. Its a little strange that there is no mirror over the bathroom sink, usually there is, my partner wasn't able to shave because of this. There was a mirror but it was over the toilet, which felt a little strange. Perhaps this could be added?

The apartment is in the heart of the town which is ideal. It is large, certainly for a couple, and pretty comfortable. Wi fi and TV (Lots of apps) were great and useful in the poor weather we had during our stay.
The bed was slightly soft for our liking, but was fine. We only stayed for one night but we felt that the kitchen lacked a couple of things (tea towels, recycling instructions) that you may need for longer stays. The bathroom was well equipped although the bath is quite a high step to get into and some may struggle getting in and out.

It was clean. Located next to everything in the town, a very sizeable apartment, and lovely staff.
My only flaw with this place was staying in the one bedroom through the pixie door shall we say, in the mornings you can hear the staff getting the restaurant ready at 8am, quite loudly.
Which isn’t a massive problem, but didn’t expect it is all.

Great location, great time and central to everything in Ludlow
The check in had to be before 5pm which isn't an issue but limited us.

Great location and the staff were lovely that met us to show us the room
Quite noisy from above, really warm and fan noise all night. Shower isn’t great and bathroom could do with updating.

The property was a great find, located directly above the Old Bakehouse just off the square,it provided everything that we required and gave us a fantastic two day break. There is parking at the rear which is chargeable but it does provide easy access to the property. Keep 2 where we stayed has a fantastic balcony overlooking the rear and providing wonderful views across the valley ☺️.We had breakfast as part of the price paid, which was provided in the Bakehouse below our accommodation. The breakfast was excellent as was the food we ate in the evening. The members of staff and Colin the host were exceptional which made our stay special. We will certainly return if the property is available when we look to visit Ludlow again.
There are two things to mention which future visitors maybe need to consider when booking this accommodation.
There are two apartments, both situated above the Bakehouse. We were in the top apartment which was Keep 2.
When we booked, the description indicated that there was a kitchen area in both apartments, however this is not the case. Keep 1 has a kitchen and Keep 2 does not. This did not in any way affect our stay.
The second point we would raise is, access is via two flights of stairs, which if you have limited movement may prove to be an issue. We were ok with the stairs and it did not affect our stay.

It was right next to the Castle car park in a very central location. It was lovely and quiet with a big kitchen, lounge, bedroom and bathroom.
It was imposdible to contact the owner! Were given no information on how to pick up keys or the best place to park. No reply from our complaints about the sodden floor! The carpets were sodden and we contacted the staff in the Bakehouse who tried to contact the owners. We had to put towels on the floor! Great sized kitchen, but no tea towels, dishcloths or liquid to wash up!

Found the place fairly easily. We were taken up to our apartment and given a welcoming talk. There was clear information on a laminated sheet. A beautifully presented apartment in an unusual building. A fully-equipped kitchen made me sad it was an overnight stay, given the market was on the doorstep. Comfortable bedroom and a surprisingly quiet location.

Absolutely stunning
The only thing I could say was the spare duvets did not have covers on them, the free Wi fi kept going off, and would have been nice for a tv in bedroom

Great omelette for breakfast, all the food I had there was good !Friends I met up with for lunch also happy
The flat was great , a lot bigger than I expected!
There was no tea towel in the flat, it was very well equipped otherwise

Location and size
Kitchen was missing cooking items - no strainer, teflon frying pans were well past worn, scratched and really inusable. No dish cloths or washing up cloths, only an old stained sponge in the kitchen. Location is centrally located and close to the castle, but is above the restaurant so it does smell of cooking at dinner time.

Clean, comfortable and quiet, despite being in the centre. Lovely terrace.
I arrived 40 minutes before check-in and the room was ready but I wasn’t allowed early entry without paying £10.

Excellent location, central to the town and very close to the castle.
The breakfast was served in the bakehouse, it was a twist on the usual selection, with bagels and wraps, nicely presented and tasty.
Breakfast was served much later than expected and am I used to.
The route from the bakehouse to the room is narrow and twisty, that would be unnerving for solo travelers particularly late at night. There are two flights of steep stairs, again could prove tricky for some, or when you have walked too far during the day.
There was some sound intrusion from outside and neighbouring rooms/properties.

Really nice place - the location is superb, right in the middle of the town, 150mtrs from the castle, the room was very spacious, clean and even had a balcony and furniture, with great view over the area.
We had a meal at the Bakehouse with was part of the building, good choice of food and good prices.
All the staff were very polite and very helpful.
No issues at all.
Nothing to report on this, only there overnight, but all went well.

Spacious
Good location
We booked a one bed with a sofa bed in the lounge as we are not a couple. No bed linen provided for sofa bed. We were told at 3pm at the cafe below that they would bring us some. When returning at 11pm, none had been provided. The cafe was closed so my friend had to sleep in his clothes.
Also, the noise and smell of old cooking fat from the cafe below was awful, even the bedding reaked of it.
No tea towel or kitchen towel provided. Mugs were stained inside and needed a good clean.
No blind in living room, so my friend found it impossible to sleep after sunrise.

Location, balcony, size of the main sleeping/living area.
The size of the second bedroom. Had to go through a door made for hobbits or the borrowers to get in and not enough room to stand up once inside.

Very clean, spacious accomodation. Masses of storage and generally well equipped. Perfectly situated in the centre of the old town yet not at all noisy. Nice breakfast which was good value for the inclusive price. The staff in the eatery below were cheerful and always helpful.
It would have been nice to have some oven gloves and a tea towel! ..... it is self catering accomodation after all. This is not really a moan just an observation that would render the stay pretty much perfect!

The location was perfect
There was rubbish bin, no where to hang bathroom towels, it wasn’t very clean and there was a dirty glass left on the outside hanging chair

Very central
Very noisy ie.daily bin rolling early morning, slamming doors as the bakehouse opened early morning and closed late at night. Herd of elephants staying upstairs, could hear every step a continuous thump, thump, thump, banging drawers, cupboards, doors until they went to bed. Very basic cleaning ,loads of things missed.needed sofa bed but no linen for it ,I had to give the sheet off the bed to my son for the sofa bed, sofa bed mattress stained as was the duvet, did ask for sheets but none appeared.
