An easy stay in beautiful surroundings

It was compact and had everything you needed for a short stay. Staff were great on check in. Beautiful Ludlow and all it has to offer is just right outside the door - so perfect in that sense. Take-aways on every corner and great traditional pubs and cafe’s

We would have preferred a walk in shower. The tv was too high on the wall for easy viewing. We didn’t see any pictures of bathroom or where tv was on web site. We didn’t realise we had to use a pay as you go car park - wasn’t easy to work out 24 hour payment - it wasn’t far away but it was raining.

Great value, with everything you need for a comfortable stay.

A lovely stay, plenty of room and a comfortable bed. We slept really well. Jane managed to fit us in the restaurant when we arrived on Friday even though we hadn’t booked. The food was delicious and exceeded our expectations. All staff we came into contact with were brilliant, a good team and good fun. The location is central to Ludlow but also very quiet. On the doorstep for accessing this lovely town. We’d definitely return next time we come to Ludlow.

Brilliant place to visit. Top shops and market. Very scenic town- enjoyable walks, varied buildings

Excellent location. Very comfortable property with everything included. Also pleased with bottle of milk, salt, pepper, tea, coffee amend even chocolate biscuits included. Had a great meal at the restaurant on day of arrival which was reasonably priced.

Loved the Place Did not like getting fined for parking in the public car park

very easy to collect the keys

the parking charge in the public car park is not easy to understand. I could not see a "pay and display' sign. wrongly assumed the charge is to be payed upon leaving the car park. Cost me £25 pounds to learn.

Beautiful Inn in Ludlow

Wonderful experience. Very friendly staff. The apartment behind the pub was nicely appointed. Although they were totally booked for dinner, they were able to find a table for us. A short walk brought us to the downtown with Ludlow Castle a few steps farther. What a great find!

Excellent stay in every way.

It’s very convenient, excellent value and the staff, especially the owners, are very friendly.

It’s a shame there is no longer breakfast, but completely understandable given there are only a few rooms. It will not stop us booking again.

Great location, amazing price, friendly hosts

Great location in the center of town, and an amazing price. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Even though it was right next to the pub garden, everyone left early enough that it was never noisy when we wanted to sleep. There was no air conditioning, but there were fans and enough windows that it was comfortable despite being warm outside. Our daughter loved the loft.

Some minor issues: the shower faucet dripped and we couldn't shut it off all the way; the bathroom was a little dark at night because a light was burnt out.

Lovely design and very clean and comfortable. Has a nice terrace, perfect for enjoying a cuppa in the morning. The wider property has a lovely bar and restaurant and a great pub garden.

Had an issue with lighting in the bathroom, which host Jane did her best to resolve for me quickly and with a smile. If you don’t like heights, the mezzanine floor may be challenging for you.

Clean, comfortable, and well-equipped stay

We had a lovely stay - the room was very clean, with fresh, modern decor. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches such as the fridge, toaster, microwave, a pint of milk, and even a packet of biscuits on arrival. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. While there’s no parking on site, there’s a reasonably priced car park virtually opposite, which was very convenient. We’d happily stay again!

We stayed in lower cottage... what a lovely place... Jane and Tim run a fantastic ship, the pub and room is immaculately clean, the service is extremely good, friendly and professional. Jane is like a whirlwind, if shes not serving on the bar, cleaning the toilets, taking orders or collecting glasses, she always smiling and an absolute pleasure to be around. We only stayed for 2 nights but we will return... The food is exceptional, the choices cater for all.

Great room in central Ludlow

Really pleasant room in central location in Ludlow, a really pretty old market town set in stunning countryside. Proprietor was really nice and very helpful. Room was lovely, and was set up to self cater if desired, but food served in the Queens was excellent.

Room was alongside garden terrace area; we were not disturbed by noise in March, but this might be an issue in the warmer days of summer

Friendly and helpful proprietor and staff. Nice bar. Lovely accommodation in a great location. Very clean and comfortable.

There was no cooking facilities except for a microwave, but the property had everything else needed. It was in the pub courtyard which was next to the beer garden, which was open on Friday and Saturday. However, the beer garden did close at 11:00pm promptly and there was quiet thereafter.

We enjoyed our stay at the stables very much!

Super location, with everything at hand! The beds slept marvelous and hostess was very helpfull. We stayed for one night, and heard no noise of the pub. Good stay for a family of four (our kids in age-range 9-12).

We stayed for one night, while on the road/ travelling. Our car had to park in a public carpark overnight (with some of our luggage). It turned out just fine, and there's enough place in the room to store luggage as well.
