Immaculately presented property with delightful owners who ensure your every need is met.

The property is in an excellent location on the island for visiting all of the main attractions. It was immaculately clean when we arrived with everything you could wish for. We were able to take our dogs which was a real treat as not many properties of this standard accept them. We had a wonderful break and will definitely return to The Stables.

This was a peaceful stay in a straightforward and convenient house.

With a rental car it was easy to travel the short distances on the island quite quickly. Although it was near a main road the house was quiet nearly all the time. The surroundings were very pleasant and rural, the house clean and very well equipped. Nigel and Holly were friendly, helpful and ready to assist with any difficulties I had while respecting my privacy at the same time. I think the house would be perfect for a couple with a baby or young child.

The house lacked atmosphere and would benefit from a bit of softer lamp lighting as an alternative to the slightly harsh “down lights”. Also, darker curtains during the summer would enhance sleep in the late evenings and early mornings. For the stove and washing machine, a laminated A4 sheet of paper showing the most popular programmes would be an advantage, because customers don’t want to spend hours of their holiday studying manuals of domestic machines.

The Stables was absolutely excellent. They seemed to have thought of everything you could possibly need. Nigel and Holly were very friendly and informative. Would definitely recommend this place. Hopefully we will return soon.

Wonderful Cottage.

Clean, cosy with all the comforts of home. Lovely sunny, warm accommodation and the welcome basket was a special touch that made our stay even more memorable. Great place to watch the TT right outside the door. We would have loved to stay longer.

A wonderful ten days, and an excellent base from which to explore the island.

Excellent cottage in a very convenient place to explore the whole of the Isle of Man. We were given a superb welcome pack including plenty of items to last until we went to a shop the day after arrival. The property was spotlessly clean. It was extremely well equipped with many items including coffee machine, washing machine, USB charging points, microwave, cooker with oven and all the cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery that we could possibly need. We were also pleased that there was a portable Dyson vacuum cleaner at the entrance which made it very easy to clean bits of mud off the floor when we returned from our expeditions with muddy footwear and clothing. We knew that we could contact Nigel or Holly anytime if we had any queries. They were able to give us helpful advice about road closures and anything we needed to know about the island.

We didn't have any problems at all.

Recharging the batteries in Cronk Y Voddy

Loved the peace, beauty and tranquility of the location. Fabulous, enclosed garden for our dog. Great cottage - small but well appointed with excellent amenities. Lovely, helpful hosts.

Nothing, 'not to like' but, very remote location which relied on use of car. No pub or local shops within walking distance.

Self catering studio apartment which was spacious light and airy. Large modern shower in great bathroom. Surrounded by beautiful pet friendly gardens. The hosts have thought of everything and it was most tastefully well equipped with a lovely colour scheme throughout using a rural backdrop. Our hosts met us at the door and where wonderfully accommodating with two lovely, friendly puppy dogs. The welcome basket was amazing and they had thought of everything to get us through our first evening and breakfast the next morning with lovely home made goodies! Would definitely recommend this holiday destination, 5 stars plus. Thank you Holly and Nigel.

A beautiful cottage in lovely gardens. Definitely the best self catering accommodation we have ever stayed. Holly and Nigel have created a beautiful home which has everything you could possibly want, such care and thought has been put into it. The welcome basket was superb. Loved every bit

Everything. Super accommodation, everything was clean and to a high spec, the beds were super comfy, super location on the island, super hosts, would definitely return and hope to......oh and the garden is fully secure for our four legged family member :)

Our little dog found the road a bit noisy we think but it was fine for us, its just she gets a little scared of loud noises, wouldn't put me off going back as she'll probably be fine next time

5* Accommodation at a 4* Price, and very welcoming hosts.

WOW!!!. This property far exceeded our expectations. Definitely a 5* stay and experience. The Host's were very welcoming, contacted us at every part of the booking, right the way up until our arrival. The property is very well laid out, flowing from one part to the next, and being on one level, would be ideal for those with disabilities. Bed was very comfortable, and we had a real good nights sleep. TV had loads of different channels, to keep you occupied when chilling out after a days exploring. Shower/ Bathroom had all you needed to keep spic and span, and the kitchen, although compact, had all you needed to cook all your meals, and there were an open pit fire and gas BBQ for those a little more adventurous. AND if you are into motor sports, the property is adjacent to one of the roads on the famous TT Course, so this would make an ideal base for the 2 to 3 weeks that the racing is on for. Also of note is that the property allows small dogs.

NOTHING!!. What you get at this property are very welcoming hosts! 5* accommodation at a 4* price, a good nights sleep, plenty to see and do in the vicinity, so all in all, a great place to stay should you ever decide to visit the Isle of Man.

We would recommend The Stables as being comfortable and convenient, with excellent hosts.

The cleanliness, the comfortable and attractive furnishings, the modern fitments, the welcome basket provided by Holly, and her availability on site to answer any questions we may have had. The central position was good for exploring many aspects of the Isle of Man and as my husband has mobility problems, the ground floor accommodation was very convenient.

As there were many modern gadgets that were new to an elderly couple such as ourselves, the manufacturers handbooks provided (e.g. for the cooker) needed some further explanation . Some of the kitchen cupboards were too high for a 5ft. 1" guest. We would have liked some guidance about the need to pre book evening meals in the nearest town (Peel) as we found that all the places we tried on a Friday and Saturday evening were fully booked.
