The property is in an excellent location on the island for visiting all of the main attractions. It was immaculately clean when we arrived with everything you could wish for. We were able to take our dogs which was a real treat as not many properties of this standard accept them. We had a wonderful break and will definitely return to The Stables.

With a rental car it was easy to travel the short distances on the island quite quickly. Although it was near a main road the house was quiet nearly all the time. The surroundings were very pleasant and rural, the house clean and very well equipped. Nigel and Holly were friendly, helpful and ready to assist with any difficulties I had while respecting my privacy at the same time. I think the house would be perfect for a couple with a baby or young child.
The house lacked atmosphere and would benefit from a bit of softer lamp lighting as an alternative to the slightly harsh “down lights”. Also, darker curtains during the summer would enhance sleep in the late evenings and early mornings. For the stove and washing machine, a laminated A4 sheet of paper showing the most popular programmes would be an advantage, because customers don’t want to spend hours of their holiday studying manuals of domestic machines.

The Stables was absolutely excellent.
They seemed to have thought of everything you could possibly need.
Nigel and Holly were very friendly and informative.
Would definitely recommend this place.
Hopefully we will return soon.
