Fantastic stay! Located near supermarket and has great facilities for self catering.

The walk into city is not very far. Delightful and very communicative hosts who were super fast to respond to any issues. Very kindly lent us a plug to charge phones and brought another coffee machine when the other one was giving trouble. Nice touch with drinks in fridge on arrival. Got good recommendations from our friendly host for where to eat local food. Great facilities. Very close to Lidl and another supermarket so very easy to cater for ourselves without costing a fortune. Nice jacuzzi!😁 Would definitely stay here again!

Only thing is you can hear the people in the other room as walls seem quite thin. This did not take away from our pleasant stay however and the neighbours were actually lovely so we made friends.

Nice and cosy

The room and common area were cosy and the hosts were very kind and available. The place as itself is cute and tidy. About 20min from the city center by walking.

Quite noisy at night outside (cars, emergencies, alarms..) but otherwise we slept well.

Charming cozy place, just a 20 min away from the city historical center.

Eva is a delightful host! We felt amazingly welcome. The facilities were really nice, the rooym very spacious and the patio charming. We had free Belgian cookies, coffee and fruit handily available! :D Great location: a tram line and a bus line just some blocks away and a 20 min walk to the city historical centers.

No blinders on the windows. In Belgium, during Summer, that meant waking up around 5:30 by the rising sun light... But... nothing a sleeping mask would not solve.

Blissful Ghent getaway

I don't think there is enough space to write about how amazing this stay was! (Deep breath) Firstly the communication before we arrived was impeccable, almost unnecessarily outstanding. Right until we arrived. The welcome was like 'coming home'. We were treated like family the moment we stepped in. We were briefed about breakfast, the common areas, our OWN spaces and utilities (cupboards and fridges and cooking utensils) showed around the ground floor and then to our bedroom on the second floor. We had the Sauna room. The pictures are definitely accurate. But they just don't capture the absolute attention to detail that Eva has put into every corner of every room. Impeccable. Outstanding. Epic. Luscious. Homely. Soothing. A few words to try and describe the immediate feeling we had and the prolonged feeling over the weekend. The Sauna was "....." (Speechless) Not flimsy and faulty. Fortuitous and Functional!!!! The shower was heaven, so spacious. The bed.... (Well that's private) But the best sleeps for a long time in a hotel/homestay. The breakfast was like coming home after years at university, everything was delicious and full of carefully planned touches to make it complete. If we ever go back to Ghent. We will ONLY stay here. And will change our plans to fit with the availability... IT WAS THAT GOOD!! THANKYOU to Eva for all of your heartfelt effort. And to Odette for welcoming us with such a smiling cadence.

The Sauna in the room was quite nice, it made the experience at the hotel pretty unique.

The bathroom does not have a door! we were not comfortable with that, so if someone wanted to go the other one had to put on either music or go out of the room

We absolutely loved our room. The jacuzzi was marvellous and the bed was so comfortable! Nothing to fault!

We had the room with the sauna. It was awesome! It was very clean and well equipped. Eva was really nice and helpful. The location was also perfect for us - 20 min walk to the city center or 5 min by tram. Parking was also easy. If we are in Gent again, we definitly would come back.

Fantastic, we will be back

The room was unique and amazing. It's very spacious and well kept. The host was lovely, she showed us the place upon arrival, gave us local recommendations, and was simultaneously ready to help and respectful of privacy. For instance, access to the fully-equipped kitchen was possible 24/7, and there were refreshments in the fridge upon arrival. The breakfast, although somewhat expensive, was excellent and generous.

The only minor thing is that rooms are not too sound-proof. But since there is only one other room (and on a different floor), it is not an issue.

Lovely place, lovely host! Bring ear plugs if you are sensitive to noise.

Lovely host, not far from city centre, use of kitchen was very helpful. Room was nice, clean, well-furnished and equipped. Bed was comfortable. Jacuzzi worked well. Drinks available, fruits, biscuits, free of charge.

The room was not sound-proof from the inside. We couldn't hear any outside noise or traffic, but were woken up by people from the room upstairs talking and another time by someone walking up the stairs. That made the room not feel as private as we had hoped it would be.

Exceptional

Eva was extremely friendly and helpful. She gave us maps and information. She even paid for our parking as my husband had got it wrong! The parking was opposite the accommodation next to the canal and only 3.50 euros for 24 hours. The house was a short walk to the centre. There was also a tram stop very close. The fridge etc is downstairs in a communal area but there are only 2 rooms and everything is clearly labelled.

Position excellent, host fantastic, all common spaces organised, tidy and clear. Feels welcoming and the sauna is the cherry on top of the cake. Very comfortable bed.

Perfect place to visit Gent !

Everything was perfect ! The kindness of the owner, the beautiful room with great jacuzzi, the location not far from the Center, the easy and cheap parking nearby..... We even had chocolate eggs, fruits, and a few things in the fridge :D When we'll be back in Gent, we'll definitely stay there again ! :)

My stay was wonderful! It's amazing to have your own little spa with the sauna in the room. Breakfast was brought up to the room due to covid measures. The hosts are super nice - can really recommend staying there!

Very frindly staff. The location is not central, but it takes only 20 minutes on foot and 7 minutes by taxi to the centre. The room is cozy and very comfortable. Very recommendable for young couples.

Mooie uitvalsbasis als je niet in het centrum wilt zitten en een mooie ruime kamer wilt.

Locatie was prima, een beetje uit het centrum maar we hadden eigen fietsen mee en wisten die van te voren. Het is daar makkelijk parkeren en goede uitvalsbasis. De kamer zelf is ruim, netjes en met een groot bad. Daarnaast was het ook redelijk rustig dus geen geluidsoverlast.

Het rook er niet zo prettig, de kamer stonk een beetje, met raam open werd het iets minder. De kamer boven ons was ook gehorig, je hoorde elke voetstap.

Die Lage war super. Nicht direkt im Zentrum aber am Kanal und mit dem Fahrrad in ein paar Minuten bequem zu erreichen

Bett war etwas zu weich ( für unsere Verhältnisse) Dass es nur eine große Bettdecke gibt. Bei unterschiedlichen Vorlieben etwas schwierig .
