Firstly, we wrote (via email) to Hotel stating that we will arriving late in Pisa ie after 12 midnight. But the Hotel confirmed that somebody will receive us as the Hotel claimed that the front desk is 24 hrs and due to the confirmation, we decided not to cancel our booking.
When we reached the Hotel around 1 am from airport, the hotel lobby was completely dark (not even a single light, may be cost savings by hotel) and we rang the bell twice as the main entrance was locked. Nobody was answering us and the lobby was completely dark.
The next day, we went back to hotel to complain about the event but the receptionist was adamant that there is somebody at the hotel and even if we rang the bell twice, we should wait for 2 to 5 min for somebody to open the main door for us. How do we know or expected to know that there will be somebody to open the door for us.
After a long argument, we decided that it was very wasteful to argue with the hotel and insisted on our breakfast. Don't bother to reserve breakfast, nothing much to offer anyway.

I really dont understand the negative reviews. Location great as its next to train station so can hop on a go on any day trips like Cinque Terre, Lucca, Florence also 25mins walking distance to airport. The location is safe. Rooms clean and mattress so comfy, rooms have everything you need, even fridge! Staff also very nice. Honestly dont hesitate to stay here

Whilst the staff were very nice we had no hot water , no aircon for 3 days . Broken toilet seat & toilet paper holder .
We received no compensation for this not even breakfast as a replacement, just sorry but we still had to pay the city tax . We asked to pay city tax by card they said no it had to be cash then the next person checking out paid it by card .
Would not recommend on multiple levels.

Nothing more than a basic stay for one night. It is not cheap, but somehow pisa is not cheap in general. Good location close to the train station (easy connect with airport).
