    All the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean. The location is excellent for walking to many places from Times Square to lower Manhattan. Lots of great restaurants in the neighborhood.

    My air conditioner went out in the room. I called the front desk to tell them the girl that answered the phone was extremely rude talking over me as I was trying explain how hot it was in my room, saying I had to wait til morning and there’s nothing she could do- I had seen in another room a fan and ask can I atleast have a fan in my room where she replied didn’t I just say you had to wait until til the morning?! I asked when a manager was going to be in and she got quiet I said “Hello” she said nothing then we are both sitting on the phone in silence then I say hello again and she said what I just told you there’s nothing I can do I can’t help you! I said I’m asking for your name and your slight I want the name of who is being extremely rude to me she hung up- then called my room back 20 mins later saying someone was coming to fix the ac! The manger and staff I met when I first arrived was super nice and helpful, friendly but that 3rd shift girl was a demon from hell and I see why they have her on 3rd so wouldn’t have to deal with customers face to face that attitude isn’t it at all! I spoke to a friendly girl in the morning someone that checked me in early her name started with an O and my experience was night and day I told her everything that happened

    The area is convenient to Chelsea, but that’s about it. The floors are concrete and the bed mattress lays on top of a wooden plank. There’s not even a frame for the bed. The blinds were broken in the shower is see-through. Just not worth the money.

    This is a boutique hotel with great potential. Sadly the maintenance is very poor. The only "overhead" light in the main area of the room didnt work. Shower curtain smelled like mold so bad i couldnt closed it while showering. Perhaps some sanding and a coat of paint could go a long way. Wood flooring that the mattress sits on was sticky. Elevator lobby on my floor was in terrible condition. Staff on check in didnt want to be there. Location was great. In the right hands this could be a great low/mid tier boutique hotel but whoever is managing this place sadly needs the boot.
