A Perfect Stay with the Kindest Hosts!

We stayed here for one night during a weekend trip to visit the Bruges Christmas Markets, and it turned out to be the perfect choice. The location was ideal as it was only a 20-minute drive from Bruges and incredibly convenient especially after driving in from London. There was parking right outside, and everything we needed was just a short walk away, including a lovely bakery and an Aldi for groceries. The apartment itself exceeded all expectations. It looked even better than the photos, beautifully and tastefully decorated, and fully stocked with everything we could possibly need: towels, tea and coffee, blankets, even board games. It felt cosy, welcoming, and genuinely cared for. But what truly made the stay exceptional were the hosts. They were some of the kindest and warmest people we’ve ever met. So helpful, so thoughtful, and always willing to assist. Their warmth gave us such a wonderful impression of the people of Bruges. We honestly cannot thank them enough for their hospitality. Highly recommend this place, we would love to return!

Great value for money.

Beautiful apartment, large sitting area. Beautiful little terrace/garden area. It had everything from pots and pans to a washing machine. Large fridge, plenty of storage.

There is no central heating. Each bedroom has a small electric radiator but that's not enough during the cold season, especially for the ensuite. The floor and the doors are very squicky, making it hard to sleep if someone decides to use the one toilet during the night. Please invest in decent quality mattresses and bed sheets as these were the biggest let down.

A lovely apartment in a very pleasant town

The apartment was spotless and spacious and well equipped. We were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay very much. The host and hostess were very obliging and welcoming. An extra bonus was a 6 minute walk to the railway and 15min train ride to reach Bruges.

Fantastic!

Everything was great. Very friendly and home-like apartment and helpful host. A great small and tasty shop nearby, free parking just below, and so much joy for kids.

It was a bit dusty in the room upstairs, and piano was not working, but it was the only things to improve there.

Superb

This is a very spacious house with 3 comfortable beds big enough to house 7 people. The house is clean, cosy and well equipped. There's a bakery downstairs and a chips/ fried foods place a couple of houses away. The tarrace and many windows make the space feel open and light. Lovely base for a get away in Belgium, reasonably close to Brugge.

Just a warning: you may be woken up by a local rooster if you're not used to hearing one. But to some this is music 😅

Lovely spacious appartment in a lovely town. Great location as a base for visiting Bruges, Ghent and beyond. Bakery next door and Aldi supermarket 50 metres along the road. Great Friterie closeby and the appartment itself has all you could think of for a comfortable and enjoyable stay including a lovely outdoor roof terrace. Would highly reccomend.

spacious and very comfortable- one forgot it was on a 2d and 3rd floor! the terrace added light and a great airy space.

it’s a lovely 3 bedroom apartment with a clothes washer too! all good. wish we were here longer to explore this lovely country! the bakery next door was amazing! enjoy!
