Stunning house in a great location.

Beautiful house with lovely gardens. We absolutely loved the animals! The beds were comfortable and it had everything we needed. Easy drive into Bruges. The owner was super friendly and helpful. Lots of information was provided about the house and the area.

Only one thing, the staircase is open and doesn't have a rail on the outside edge, only on the wall. It was solid but without a rail, could be a little unsafe for some.

Beautiful stay amongst wildlife in the countryside

This is a beautiful place in the country side with a large garden and some amazing animals on site. We all loved helping to feed Alpacas, pig and chickens with Erik. There was plentiful information provided about property and surrounding area beforehand. Accommodation was meticulously kept, a very good size for a larger group and spotlessly clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Thank you so much!

Wonderful stay just outside of Bruges!

If you are looking for an oasis of peace and well-being just a short ride outside of Bruges, "The Two Oaks" is the place you are looking for. Situated in a beautiful area with lush greenery all around, this place will overpass all your expectations. Of course, the best of all - the friendly alpacas! Interaction with these friendly animals was truly the highlight of our stay. I would highly recommend "The Two Oaks"! And, of course, we will come back often - now that we have discovered this gem in the Flemish countryside!

Great, especially the firplace!

We saw a fireplace in the pictures of The Two Oaks and booked immediately without paying much attention to anything else. When we arrived, we were delighted to find out that everything else was great too. We enjoyed our stay immensely. The owner is there for you when you need him and very friendly. Whenever we asked for anything, he gave us all the information, advice and help we needed. The place was perfectly clean and well equipped with everything one might need. Don't count on public transport connections with Brugge though! There is one bus in the morning to Brugge and one in the evening back from Brugge, for schoolchildren who live in Hertsberge and go to school in Brugge, so not on weekends! There is no taxi in Hertsberge, so if you call a taxi it has to come from Brugge, which is expensive. We didn't have a car and needed to go to Brugge on a Sunday, but the owner kindly offered to take us to Brugge for € 20, which we gratefully accepted. The location is great for enjoying the peace and quiet, going for long walks or cycling tours etc. In short, we spent a blissful short holiday and will come again.

Everything about this place is stunning. The property is fully equipped with everything you need. It is in beautiful surroundings. The host was very polite and incredibly helpful. He provided us wirh all the information of the local area and the property itself. I liked the fact that the host has a rogues gallery of all the past guests, which we are now a part of.

That I had only one night stay here. I could have stayed here forever.

Werkelijk prachtig en zeker de moeite waard om terug te gaan!

Prachtige locatie, schitterend warm ingericht huis huis met alles erop en eraan! Prachtige tuin met dieren. En bovenal een heel warm welkom door de zeer vriendelijke eigenaar toen we arriveerden! Zeer zeker voor herhaling vatbaar!

Heerlijke verblijf voor korte of lange tijd

Fijne accommodatie voorzien van alle comfort. Grote tuin met meubilair. Diertjes in de tuin maken het plaatje compleet. Zeer vriendelijke eigenaar met een ongelooflijk fijn ontvangst.

Deugddoend en ontspannend weekend beleefd in een rustig, nette, gezellige tuin en huis.

Voor de tweede maal hier een weekendje geboekt. Een wam onthaal (eigenaar is aanwezig om je binnen te laten en te verwelkomen). Alles weer tip top in orde. Waar wij vorige keer een kleine (en de enige opmerking) maakten dat er geen cavaglazen aanwezig waren, hebben wij deze keer meermaals naar hartelust kunnen klinken met......cavaglazen. Dankjewel. Alles tiptop in orde.

Dat een dag maar uit 24 uren bestaat want in dit gezellig huis vliegt de tijd.

De tuin en omgeving

Dat de mensen een bijdrage van 135€ extra vroegen om dat we een derde persoon mee hadden terwijl het een huisje voor 6 personen was. En ik maanden geleden daarvoor een mail had gestuurd die hun blijkbaar niet goed konden lezen . Zo kwam de woning ineens op 535€ .

Eine sehr gute Unterkunft, mit den nahen Ausflugzielen Brügge und Gent.

Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber, alle Küchegeräte für Frühstück, Mittag, usw. waren vorhanden. Wurden von uns aber nur zum Frühstück genutzt. Der großzügige Garten war sehr einladend. Insgesamt ein Urlaubserlebnis und empfehlenswert.

Es gibt nichts negatives zu berichten...., darum bleibt dieses Feld leer.

Die Unterkunft war der Hammer Alles mit viel Liebe und durchdacht eingerichtet.Erik der Gastgeber war jeder Zeit für uns ansprechbar.Es gab frische Eier und im Wohnzimmer leckere Süßigkeiten. Ich kann die Unterkunft 1000% weiterempfehlen.

Een verblijf dat smaakt naar meer.

Een gezellig ingericht huis, zeer netjes. Het beddengoed en handdoeken van een degelijke kwaliteit wat toch altijd een luxegevoel geeft. Een vriendelijke, behulpzame gastheer en -vrouw. Eveneens een zeer mooi ingerichte tuin aanwezig. Dit alles heeft er voor gezorgd dat we een super leuk weekend hebben gehad. Wij komen terug.

Een kleine tip: cavaglaasjes. :o) :o)
