Not as comfortable and easy to access

There was WiFi and air conditioner which was a great help on the high temperatures. Also the area was safe and the staff was helpful

It was on the other side in the city, there’s only one bus that connects the Airbnb to all the other places and after 16:00 it passes only every hour, the city itself was very confusing so you cannot see where you can take the connections to get to the beach or airport, we had to always use uber. Unfortunately, there was 1 day in which the bathroom smelled bad, like if the drainage system wasn’t working (staff was helpful but didn’t find a problem, after this the smell stopped). There were many ants and small mosquitos. The bed wasn’t that comfortable, the pillows were from bad quality (which you cannot expect something from a 5star hotel, but for almost 400€ 3 nights you expect at least something comfortable) and also there was light coming inside during the night from the door and another window. The hot water from the shower didn’t last that much even though we didn’t turn it off (we were only 2 people showering) In general, from the pictures they show online we expected something better (like the first picture the show with balcony, space and good light) but we got a small apartment down with no view or natural light at all The checkout is at 10am, which is pretty early as normally other Airbnb or other hotels have. In the area there are no restaurants or supermarkets near, so if you want to go out you need to walk at least 30 minutes all the way down (since it is in the hill) to find food or activities

The apartment itself is nice, spacious and clean, but the location produced great challenges .

The apartment is spacious, in fact, it's like two apartments in one. There's an upstairs area consisting of a bedroom, bathroom and sitting area together with a kitchen. And there's the downstairs area with another bedroom, bathroom, small kitchen and sitting area. Perfect for two couples to have their own privacy. The apartment is immaculately clean.

The sloping ceiling - easy to bang your head on the beams (which we did). The TV set is in a weird place - very uncomfortable to watch it from the sofas. You have to sit on the floor, so we didn't watch it. Wasn't a big loss, though. The location is far from desirable - too high up! If you have your own car, that's no problem. But if you rely on public transportation and your own feet - you are out of luck! Too high, too steep, too many steps. Though the distance from the main bus station is relatively close, you have to take a long road around the town to get to the place. Or take the steps. Or take an Uber which will add about 25 Euros per day, minimum. The worst experience was with booking the place. (It has nothing to do with the apartment itself, but the management). Unfortunately, I booked the place by mistake, thinking I was booking another apartment. I tried to cancel it 30 seconds later, to no avail. Normally, one can cancel the booking within 24 hours minimum, but not this time, though the date of our arrival was two weeks later. So that was the greatest disappointment.

Good stay - just some improvements needed!

The apartment was clean and well equipped. The bed and sofa bed were both really comfy and the terrace was a nice area. Close to a little supermarket - about 7 minutes walk. The lady who cleaned the apartments, Snježna, was really lovely and super communicative too!

Big downside is there is only one air conditioning unit in the living area. We arrived mid heat wave so without aircon in the bedroom it was very hot in there. Definitely suggest the property owners put a unit in. Also: lights above the bathroom mirror didn’t work, the bedroom curtains weren’t hooked up properly and the plug nearest the fridge sparked when unplugging something. The location of the apartment isn’t the best either, located up high with a steep walk to and from the main area near Dubrovnik bus station. Obviously the price reflects this as if it was more central it would be more expensive, but something to bear in mind especially if you are less able bodied.

The facilities were complete and it is a very clean apartment. The area was very quiet, so we had a very good sleep.

The host could be more responsive on booking.com or Whatsapp when we faced issues finding out the username and password for Wifi, but everything was sorted in the end!

Apartment was quite high, so if you are not fit enough it could be a problem. Ofc you always can take Uber or taxi :D But the view is worth it :)

Beautiful apartment, very new and nicely furnished and equiped, spotless clean, very nice view. Perfect for a family of 4. Easy to get Uber or Taxi to come to the house within a few minutes for a drive down to the Old Town. Very kind owner, we recommend !

Superb

We stayed in both the 2 bedroom and 1 bedroom apartment as the same apartment wasn’t available for all of our stay - both of them were lovely, very clean and beautiful views - the 2 bedroom was incredibly spacious spread over 2 floors with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and even 2 kitchens!! We didn’t meet Tia but she was very responsive and friendly via WhatsApp and her aunt was really lovely, they let us check in early and were generally on hand if we needed anything!

The apartments are up a massive hill - we didn’t have a car so it was quite a steep walk up (but very quick down!) the views were really nice and I think you could get the bus or an Uber- it wasn’t a problem for us but just a warning if anyone isn’t into walking!

Very nice, fresh clean place. Beautiful view over Dubrovnik and bay. Comfortable bedrooms, kitchen with everything that we needed. Host was very friendly and welcomed us with nice gifts and gave sweets to kids on leaving. Parking very good. Definitely would go back.

I lost the key which was a major issue but the host was very clam and professional about it and replaced the key without any hassle and without any additional charges.

The steep hill I had to climb BUT it gave you a great view of the city (it was a great example of the yin yang).

Le petit balcon très sympathique pour prendre le petit dejeuner au soleil. La bouteille de vin a l'accueil était un tres beau geste.

La localisation de l'hébergement est contraignante si nous sommes a pied et si nous n'avons pas une voiture puissante (ce qui n'était pas notre cas).

Super séjour à Dubrovnik !

L’accueil et la gentillesse de l’hôte est superbe. La conception de l’agencement de l’appartement permet d’apprécier complètement l’espace à disposition. Appartement très lumineux et quartier calme. Parking privatif facile d’accès et à l’entrée de la résidence. 100% conseillé pour les séjours à Dubrovnik.

Nous avons tout aimé de cet appartement. À pied, tout comme Dubrovnik, la rue desservant la ville est très pentue. Il faut de bonnes chaussures !

La casa estaba muy limpia y tenía lo necesario para una estancia muy agradable. A 0 metros hay una parada de autobús que tenía permite ir a todos los sitios de interés

Está situado en una colina y a 30 minutos andando del casco histórico. La parada de a autobús está cerca de la casa pero para llegar a ella tienes que subir una pendiente pronunciada que con el calor es duro

Co nam się podobało: Wyposażenie: Dwa komplety ręczników na osobę, dodatkowe kosmetyki (szampony i płyny do kąpieli), a także kawa, herbata i cukier – to drobne, ale bardzo miłe udogodnienia. Czystość łazienki: Łazienka była bardzo czysta, co doceniamy. Lokalizacja dla zmotoryzowanych: Spokojna okolica, choć wymaga posiadania auta, co może być plusem dla osób szukających odosobnienia.

Co nam się nie podobało: Koc był nieprany, z włosami poprzednich gości, a brak kołdry zmusił nas do korzystania z niego w chłodne noce. Kuchnia była niedokładnie sprzątnięta – lepka kuchenka, okap itp. Obiekt znajduje się na stromym wzgórzu, bez większych sklepów w pobliżu. Przystanek komunikacji publicznej wymaga zejścia z góry. Lokalizacja nad domem właścicieli, co dla niektórych może mieć znaczenie.

Smještaj u potpunosti ispunio naša očekivanja. Vrlo ljubazna i ugodna domaćica koja nas je dočekala i otpratila. Same pohvale za čistoću, urednost i opremljenost smještaja. Lokacija nam je bila odlična, imali smo parking, mirno mjesto, a opet blizu svega i sve smo mogli obići pješke.
