Really liked the airbnb and were made to feel very welcome by the friendly staff

We were warmly greeted and even helped with our large suitcases. From the very start we felt honoured guests. We liked the small apartment which was very well equipped and suited our needs perfectly. It also was on top of an excellent restaurant where we received discounts and in fact we used it every evening. It also had an excellent outdoor space with a swimming pool complete with loungers and deckchairs and we enjoyed our breakfast there every morning.

+ hosts were really welcome + central location in the port + had all what you need for a comfortable stay + parking nearby

- the apartment was behind the restaurant, each room had an exit door => it was loud, you heard all the buzz from the restaurant, street, market - decently clean

Perfect stay in a perfect location.

The location is perfect, easy bus ride to old town with many other bus routes on offer. Location is beside the port, so very easy for many excursions on offer and passenger ferry to the islands (Lopud Island, Sunj beach highly recommended). The pool area is perfect, nice little getaway from the rooms, which are only 6 or 7 steps away. Karla and Ivana were the perfect hosts, always available on whatsapp if you needed them and always ensured to ask if anything is needed for the room. Will most definitely return if going back.

I have to say, I can't think of anything to be critical about.

The apartment was in great location - short walk to bus station/stops. Many restaurants around the area. Good food at the family restaurant downstairs.

A beautiful little gem

The layout of the property was good and the location was superb, close bus ride to old town (10 minutes) and close to local boat cruises as on the marina. Having a discount at the restaurant next door was a beautiful touch and the pool area was well maintained. All staff at the restaurant were respectful and professional. Would throughly recommend staying here and will look to book again if ever back in the area!

Excellent vacation made perfect by the staff

Excellent location, lovely family owned restaurant with discounts for apartment guests. Very helpful staff that were able to provide tour information, places to visit etc. Parking is also available if you have a car but ask in advance.

Amazing place; incredible value for money and the owners and restaurant are amazing!

This place is a true gem!!! Well thought out for travelers and the rooms, pool, and attached restaurant were awesome!!! Karla and her mom Ivana are special people who go above and beyond for their guests!! We absolutely loved this place and hope to be back again someday!!

Lovely compact studio apartment. The staff and the restaurant staff below were so accommodating. Close to a few restaurants Provo especially. Bus stop outside with just a 5 minute ride into old town. Highly recommended

Studio was compact, but very clean, fresh and comfy beds. Had a great range of equipment… shower was powerful and nice to have some toiletries in there too.

Great value & all round good stay

Really good value for money. Great restaurant right below where you get a discount. The pool was small but did the job for a quick dip. There was also blackout shutters on the outside of the windows so we got some very good sleep. The location of the apartment is good right next to a bus too although the buses are not that reliable but you can also get an Uber/Bolt to old town and it’s quite cheap. Host was very nice and their family member that welcomed us when we arrived late at night prepared complimentary sandwiches for us despite the restaurant being closed! Really appreciate the gesture and thank you for a great stay!

Nothing - the apartment is located above quite a busy street but we didn’t mind. We kept the windows closed and turned on the aircon which worked great.

Tiny cosy apartment for spending nights in

Stable Internett, shot distance to the port and bus station and that the apartment was not from the street side.

Amazing

Our host Karla went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. The apartments are very cosy and in a great location (Gruz market) you are able to get multiple buses from down the road to the old town. In the hall you have all the amenities you need (toilet roll, towels, even sweets and biscuits!). In the room there is an electrical hob, kettle, and all the utilities you will need. The shower is AMAZING!!

5/5 Accommodation in Dubrovnik. Apartment Gabrieri is a home away from home with modern amenities & well-situated for public transport, markets, ports. Another big plus for this amazing property is the fact that it is just few steps away from the local fish & fresh produce market - Gruz Market (which is ope daily except on Sudays). The bus stops are all closeby. The hosts (Karla & Ivana) were very helpful and attentive in making sure that I have the most pleasant stay at their property. They even went out of their way to make available certain requests. The room was kempt and had the conveniences of basic appliances; the bed was very comfortable. I will definitely recommend this property & I will sure be back in the near future.

2 nights, most of the time we spend outside on the beach

very friendly and helpful host, clean and comfortable appartment, we had fresh fruits, water and juice in the fridge, discount in a restaurant downstairs

the sea view was also a street view and it was too close to main street and night life noise, better selection of the room would be with windows to the backyard with the pool

Decent place to stay

Location was great, right along the port and a short distance between both the old town and lapad when grabbing an uber as these were very cheap in comparison to local taxis. The apartment was quite big and fully equipped, towels were available for use at the pool as were sunloungers and deck chairs. The hosts were great and available should we have needed them. The apartment sits on top of a restaurant downstairs which was very good and the staff there were fab.

We stayed for 9 nights, the booklet with information on the apartment stated there was an additional charge for cleaning of the apartment at €10 if you stayed for longer than 7 days, which we did, so we had expected that it would be cleaned/fresh bedding/clean towels however no one came, so we were disappointed with this.

Absolutely loved our stay. Our hosts were in contact from the moment we booked. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. It was spacious and had a lovely view. Our hosts give us all the information we needed to have a great stay including what buses to get and food items that we may want to avoid. They allowed us to stay longer on our final day and stored our bags when we checked out. I had seen other posts about the room not being cleaned daily, I did not find this an issue as we kept on top of it ourselves and were told we’re to get clean towels etc if we needed them. Would highly recommend and hope to come back soon. Thank you ☺️

Good location.

Our apartment was next to the swimming pool and many people were sitting just outside our windows making noise and making it impossible for us to open them. There was a terrible smell coming from the bathroom, we had to keep the door closed for most of the day. The most important was that the apartment was full of giant ants since day one when we didn't have food in the apartment. We were finding ants walking on the walls, on the bed, and on our pillows.

A perfect place to spend 10 days in Dubrovnik.

This is a family owned property and the whole family are so lovely and couldn't be more helpful. Karla looked after all of our needs and she booked excursions and transfers for us thereby taking away all the hassle. The location is excellent for the old town and the main bus station and ferry terminal. The apartment is bright, spacious and clean and has everything you need. There is a lovely little pool and area for sitting out which is perfect for a sunny, lazy day. The food at the family owned restaurant downstairs was amazing. I would not hesitate to recommend this property!

A really lovely 3 night stay, perfect!

The studio apartment was clean, lovely furnished and in an ideal location. A market, cafes, bakeries, a pharmacy and small restaurants are all in the Gruz neighbourhood. The ferry port and bus station are nearby. The bus stop into the Old Town was just across the road in front of the apartments. The pool was great for cooling off after a hot day. Toni, Ivana and their daughter Karla are very welcoming and make sure you have everything you need.
