Captain's Place

We had such a wonderful stay at Captain’s place, and honestly, everything exceeded our expectations. One of the biggest challenges we had when looking for accommodation in Dubrovnik was finding a place that was convenient for exploring the Old Town without having to deal with endless stairs. I was therefore SO happy when I found Francesca’s apartment. The location worked perfectly for us and made getting around so much easier. The bus stop is literally right in front of the apartment, and there are very frequent buses, which made getting to the Old Town extremely convenient in 10 mins. We could simply step outside and catch a bus without having to walk far or climb up and down a lot of stairs. This was honestly one of the things we appreciated most during our stay. The neighborhood itself was also a pleasant surprise. There are plenty of supermarkets nearby, so getting groceries and anything we needed was incredibly easy. At the same time, the area felt much less crowded and touristy than staying right in the heart of the Old Town. Having the port right in front of us was lovely, and we really enjoyed the more local atmosphere around the apartment. There’s also a small, inexpensive local coffee shop right at the foot of the property, which was such a nice little convenience for grabbing a coffee while coming and going. The apartment itself was spotless, comfortable, and very well equipped. Everything was thoughtfully prepared, and we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay after long days of exploring Dubrovnik. The location, cleanliness, amenities, and overall comfort were all excellent. Francesca’s kindness and hospitality really made the stay even more special. She was incredibly welcoming, responsive, and thoughtful throughout our stay. She even kindly allowed us to leave our luggage at the apartment after check-out, which was such a huge help. It was a simple gesture, but we genuinely appreciated it, especially while traveling with luggage.
