I enjoyed my stay

It was my pleasure to stay at Alam Pankung Ubud. The host, Agung, is a very kind and honest person. He allowed me to store something in the refrigerator and provided me with a teapot. I can absolutely recommend the room with the balcony and the large bed. The view was perfect—it felt like being in the jungle. You can hear the river flowing next to the apartment, which was very relaxing. Water is included, and there is an air conditioner. I also liked the warm lighting. The room was cleaned regularly, and they always asked me directly whether cleaning was needed.

One possible improvement would be to separate the shower from the toilet with a partition, as the floor was always wet.

Room was clean with a table, chair and wadrobe with hangers. towels, toilet paper, shampoo and body wash were there. I met the owner. she was very fine lady. The lady at reception was very helpful.

A very comfortable stay

Agung, my host, is one of the kindest people I have met. Despite her own very busy schedule, she always went out of her way to be helpful to me. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable, the WiFi was good, and the location was ideal for me for getting to the Ubud Writers and Readers Festival. The helper, Madi, was very responsive and made sure my room was clean and equipped with everything I needed. I very much appreciated having a balcony, and greenery outside my room. I highly recommend the Alam Pangkung guest house.

There was a mix-up in the arrangement to pick me up at the Denpasar airport, which was not the fault of Agung or her husband (there was a third party involved in the arrangement and the whole thing ended up in confusion). I'd advise people to simply get a Gojek or Grab car from the airport so as to avoid any such difficulty. I got a Gojek ride myself in the end and my actual stay at the Alam Pangkung guest house was great. As regards the room, I would suggest brighter main lighting.

Great stay in central Ubud

The room was brilliant. Really clean and comfortable. It was of a better standard than other similarly priced hotels I've stayed at. The location was good but taxis find it difficult to park as its on a very busy main road. Nice private view from bedroom.

I think it closes its doors at 10pm, so be careful if you're heading out late - worth checking! WiFi was not great. It would have been nice to have breakfast at the hotel but it's very central so it didn't really matter.

The room was clean with new furniture. They clean every day. The location was great. In the heart of Ubud, but next to the jungle. I could hear the flowing river from my room.

Great for a clean and budget stay

Room was spacious and clean, the lady was very nice and friendly, her sister even helped me fixed my jumpsuit. Price is great for its location and room.

If you can't find anyone at the front desk, you can try to speak louder towards upstairs, the lady was upstairs when we arrived, we waited for a bit before we decided to try to see if anyone is upstairs and we made a right call. The location is right on the main street, if you have a driver coming to pick you up or dropping you off would be very difficult. There's no place for a car to stop temporary for you to get your luggage up or down. Room is quite dark as there's no enough lighting but nothing major

The location is perfect. It's right in the city center but away from the noise. You can hear water flowing outside. Room was clean and the staff member that assisted me was very friendly.

My room didn't have a balcony. Would've been nice to have some coffee facilities in the room.

Good location near the main street. Pleasant boy looking after the front desk and breakfast was good. Stayed one night.

Good price but it looks better in pictures - rooms need better ventilation. I cancelled my stay because of the musty smell and am still waiting for my refund of 3 days since 29 February 2020.

perfect location for a few days in Ubud

the room was lovely and big, the bed was very comfy and the location was excellent - very close to all the great things you'd want to see in Ubud.

there were building works that would happen from very early until very late, making sleep very hard! there were also very noisy guests, who were not told off at any point by the staff. the property also could help arrange trips, although on one occasion the driver didn't turn up and I was late to arriving at a Spa appointment - I had to get a taxi from the road, so just do allow more time for traffic if you use their service.

Clean room with a unique view of a hill side. The young man that served breakfast and handled check in was great fun and quite the business man. Location is great, room was quiet, breakfast was good. Would stay again.

Clean guesthouse with very a central location

The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. They prepared breakfast for me even when I had to check out early in the morning. Overall I had a good experience and the location was perfect, right in the middle of Ubud but still quiet at night.

The only thing is that bathroom was not separated from the toilet so the entire floor got wet.

Very friendly staff. Basic breakfast was good. Rooms specious enough with great 'jungle' view. Rooms are not at the street side so you don't hear a sound. Only (when window is open) the sound of a creek which was lovely.

The room was large and clean and nicely done. It’s a good location, in walking distance from everything with shops and restaurants very close by. Rooms look out onto trees etc

There was some construction work next door which started before 6 am which was very annoying. Me and my neighbour spoke to the owner but next day the same thing happened

２泊程度ならとても快適

ロケーションが良い。王宮通り沿いのウブド王宮とプラダレム寺院の中間にあり、目の前がビスマ通り入り口という好立地。拠点としては文句なし。近くにコンビニスーパーもあり便利です。プラダレム寺院近くにランドリーもあり洗濯にも不自由しません（２時間で洗濯乾燥までやってもらえました）。オーナーさんとは基本WhatsAppでやりとりしますが、空港送迎を安く手配してもらいました。ウブドは車手配に難儀するのでとても助かりました。

3泊しましたが清掃が入らない。頼めば交換してもらえたのかもしれませんが、基本、受付に人がいません。半無人のような宿。きれいに使ってはいましたし、共有の大きなゴミ箱がレセプション脇にあるので部屋で溜まったゴミはそちらに捨てることができます。が、ビニール袋はもらえないのでトイレのゴミ箱のためにスーパーのビニール袋などを自分で用意したりしてしのがねばなりませんでした。あとバスタオルも自身の洗濯の際に一緒に洗ってしのぎました。（今思えばオーナーさんにWhatsApp経由で相談すれば解決したかもしれません）

ウブドを東西南北歩くのに便利。周りの食事の店の選択肢が多かった。コンビニも周りに多く、マッサージの店も近くに多く便利。

冷凍庫がなかった。ゴミ箱は2つ欲しかった。完全フリーのコンセントがベッド横に欲しかった。

Toppie voor Ubud centrum en je dingen wilt ondernemen. Niet zozeer als je de rust zoekt.

De eigenares was een schat en heel behulpzaam! Bracht mij in het midden van de nacht naar de dokter op de scooter toen ik erg ziek was. Heldin!

Voor de prijs en locatie is het prima! Wat gehorig maar met oordopjes heb je nergens last van en ik ben een lichte slaper. Was goed te doen.
